钙质砂因特殊的成因,具有不规则形状和复杂孔隙等特征,容易发生颗粒破碎。本文对南海某岛礁天然钙质砂进行等向压缩试验和大直径三轴排水试验,同时测量颗粒相对破碎率,结果表明:钙质砂强度随轴向应变逐渐增大,达到峰值后明显软化,且峰值偏应力随围压增大而增大;颗粒破碎随着剪切逐渐发生,且围压越大破碎程度越大。采用描述颗粒破碎的SIMSAND模型预测排水条件下的三轴剪切试验,通过试验与预测结果的对比,揭示了模型对钙质砂预测的局限性。本文改进了SIMSAND模型,提出了围压不超过1 MPa时的颗粒相对破碎率公式,优化后的公式能更合理地预测峰值应力对应的轴向应变和颗粒破碎程度的演化。 相似文献

通过等体积的单调和循环单剪试验研究南海未胶结钙质砂的静、动力反应,讨论应力水平和相对密实度对钙质砂静、动力强度的影响,并与典型的石英砂性质进行比较。在单调单剪试验中,中密和密实钙质砂在100~400 k Pa范围的初始竖向应力下都表现出应变硬化的性质,有效内摩擦角随剪应变增大。在循环单剪试验中,钙质砂的反应与相对密实度和初始竖向应力密切相关,但中密和密实钙质砂中的等效孔压都能达到初始竖向应力的85%~90%,此时剪应变突增,试样发生破坏。与相近密实度的石英砂相比,钙质砂抵抗液化的能力更强。提出了南海钙质砂动强度的归一化表达式,建立了不排水静强度、不排水动强度和循环次数之间的关系。 相似文献

利用室内半模试验和颗粒流数值模拟,揭示多层砂土地基扩底桩单桩抗压承载特性及变形特征。结果表明,通过对比分析极限承载力与H_h/D(持力层厚度与扩大头直径之比)的关系可以看出,单桩的抗压极限承载力随H_h/D逐渐增加,当H_h/D超过2.0时,极限承载力基本不再增加,此时的单桩抗压极限承载力稳定在300.01~303.25 N,是H_h/D=0.5时极限承载力(183.83 N)的1.65倍。扩大头下部土体发生局部压缩-剪切破坏,破坏面从扩大头底面边缘向斜下方扩展,在水平方向影响范围达到最大后逐渐向桩内侧收缩;荷载作用越大,地基破坏区域越大,相应的极限抗压承载力也越大;持力层厚度增加,扩大头分担的荷载比例增大,分担的荷载达到稳定需要的桩顶位移也越大,H_h=0.5 D试验扩大头分担的荷载比例稳定时为60%,对应的桩顶位移约为29 mm;桩顶位移达到33 mm后,H_h=1.0~3.0 D试验稳定在63%~65%之间;通过细观颗粒流理论对砂土移动特性的研究发现,持力层厚度从0.5 D增大至2.0 D,破坏面的起始扩展角度从31°增大至42°。数值模拟研究结果与模型试验数据吻合效果良好,证明该方法分析多层砂土地基扩底桩单桩抗压荷载传递机理是可行的。 相似文献

颗粒参数是描述海底沉积物的基本要素之一,它们深刻地影响到海底沉积物的物理力学性质和声学性质.统计分析结果表明,海底沉积物颗粒度参数中以孔隙度、干密度、中值粒径、平均粒径、颗粒形状之间的关系最为密切.孔隙度与体积干密度呈强线性相关,与平均粒径、中值粒径也呈弱线性相关.在沉积物声速与物理参数的单参数和双参数的经验公式讨论中,显示出声速分别与孔隙度和平均粒径之间具有密切相关关系.根据沉积物颗粒堆垒结构和颗粒形状、粒径大小等,可以计算沉积物的理论孔隙度,从而判定沉积物的声衰减系数. 相似文献

在研究海岸侵蚀的过程中,泥沙沉速是一个重要参数,对于侵淤量的计算非常重要。近些年来,由于工程活动、海洋动力和气候等因素变化的影响,珊瑚砂海岸的侵蚀冲刷问题已不容忽视。考虑到珊瑚砂与石英砂在形状、比重上的不同会对其沉速造成影响,套用现有石英砂的沉速公式进行计算并不合适。本文针对珊瑚砂和石英砂进行沉降试验,分析形状对珊瑚砂沉速的影响。结果显示,在小粒径(d 0.5 mm)下形状对珊瑚砂沉速的影响并不明显,在大粒径(d 0.5 mm)下明显减缓了珊瑚砂的沉降速度,套用石英砂的沉降公式计算出的珊瑚砂沉速明显偏大。故通过提出动力形状因子这一参数来表征形状对沉降的影响,推导出考虑了形状影响的沉降公式,能够较为准确地计算砂粒的沉速范围,计算精度随着黏度的增大而提升。 相似文献

沉积物的粒度是最重要的沉积物参数之一,在河床中,表层沉积物缺乏砂–砾过渡粒级(即1~10 mm)的沉积物,被称为Grain size gap,得到广泛关注。海滩沉积物是否也是如此,是一个基本而又未知的问题。本文分析了中外228处海滩共456个表层沉积物平均粒径数据,发现海滩大概率或是平均粒径几十毫米的砾石滩,或是平均粒径几百微米的砂滩,也缺乏砂–砾过渡粒级沉积物,其粒度范围是-3.5~-1?(2~11 mm),这一结果和河床的情况基本相同。造成砂–砾过渡粒级缺乏的原因应从物源、颗粒磨损和分选以及广义的物质收支分析中去寻找。 相似文献

通过纤维加筋来加固南海钙质砂对我国南海岛礁海岸带边坡防护的安全稳固具有重要意义。本文将南海钙质砂掺入不同含量(0.2%、0.5%、0.8%、1.1%、1.4%和1.7%)的椰丝纤维,通过室内三轴试验,对椰丝纤维加筋钙质砂的应力-应变关系、纤维掺量对峰值强度及割线模量的影响进行了研究。试验结果表明:加筋钙质砂的抗剪强度和割线模量随椰丝掺量先增大后减小。当椰丝纤维掺量为1.4%时,加筋钙质砂的峰值强度和割线模量分别为293 kPa和2.85 MPa,此时纤维掺量为最佳;当椰丝纤维掺量为1.1%时,加筋钙质砂峰值强度所对应的应变最大,此时椰丝在砂土中分布较为均匀,延性效果最好。研究成果可对纤维加筋钙质砂应用于南海岛礁海岸带边坡防护提供试验数据和理论依据。 相似文献

联合使用扫描电镜(SEM)和能量色散X射线光谱仪(EDX)的技术手段,对2012年春季采集的南黄海中部泥质区的悬浮体样品进行悬浮体颗粒结构和组成的系统观察,揭示研究区悬浮体类型、特征及空间分布,并首次发现了高温燃烧颗粒。结果表明:研究区悬浮体颗粒类型多样,包括碎屑矿物、自生矿物、生物碎屑、高温燃烧颗粒等单颗粒类型,其中高温燃烧颗粒以硅质或者铁质规则球状颗粒出现;同时发现了有机包膜体、矿物质絮团、矿物-生物碎屑絮团、矿物-有机包膜絮团以及矿物-生物碎屑-有机包膜复合絮团等絮团类型颗粒。实测结果表明,悬浮体颗粒粒径范围为0~500μm,主体集中在0~20μm,平均粒径为7.84μm,不同类型悬浮体粒径差别显著,其级配符合对数正态分布。该区悬浮体颗粒在水体中以递变悬浮方式搬运,能较长时间保留在水体之中。 相似文献

AbstractDifferent types of geosynthetic reinforcements have been widely used for improving shear strength of soil materials in recent decades. In this study, two different calcareous soils reinforced by geotextile layers were evaluated by monotonic compression triaxial tests. The calcareous soils were obtained from Hormuz Island and Boushehr Port located in the north coast of the Persian Gulf. Different reconstituted samples were prepared at dense conditions with and without geotextile layers and consolidated under different effective confining pressures ranging from 100 to 600?kPa. Different layers of reinforcements including one, two and three geotextile layers were placed in the reinforced samples and sheared under drained condition. The results show that confining pressure has a significant effect on the efficiency of reinforcements. Evidently, increasing the reinforcement layers decreased the particle breakage of the calcareous soils used in this study. 相似文献

Vertical uplift static loading tests of single model pile were conducted in the in-lab calcareous sand and quartz sand by emulating practical condition of full-size piles in site. The settlement, lateral deflection, axial force, and friction distribution of the pile are analyzed for each physical test. The pile behaviors in calcareous sand and quartz sand are compared. From the test results, it can be found that the pile top displacement of uplift pile in calcareous sand can be divided into two stages: the pile–sand synchronous stage and pile–sand asynchronous (relative displacement) stage. Data from uplift tests show that the heave of calcareous sand around pile top is very small, which is resulted from the mutually restraint of surface particle. The mutual restriction of surface particle leads to “bottleneck effect” and strengthens ultimate side friction of upper pile segment. In addition, the shear dilatancy and particle breakage of calcareous sand lead to the upper harden and the lower soften of side friction, respectively. Cases of calcareous sand and quartz sand show different responses to pile forming methods, which due to the sands’ different characteristics of particle breakage when compressed as well as plastic deformation under loading–unloading conditions. 相似文献

Eastern Pacific reefs are mostly made up of interlocking coral branches of Pocillopora, which are easily broken by physical forces associated with heavy swells and winds. In this study we investigated the potential of these coral fragments to enable propagation of boring sponges. For this, we quantified the frequency of occurrence and diversity of boring sponges in fragments of corals recently trapped among the branches of live colonies, and later tested the hypothesis that these sponges colonize new branches of corals. Nearly 80% of the coral colonies investigated had coral fragments among their branches, and 69% of these coral fragments contained boring sponges (11 species), some of these sponges in reproduction (23% of them carried oocytes). To test whether sponges inhabiting coral fragments could colonize new branching corals we transplanted them to healthy branches, and to branches whose living tissue was mechanically eliminated to simulate damage produced by grazing and death after bleaching and other causes of coral tissue mortality. All the transplanted coral fragments cemented to each new colony by means of calcification, and of the three sponge species tested (Cliona vermifera, Cliona tropicalis and Thoosa mismalolli) only C. vermifera was able to colonize both new living branches (26.9%) and cleaned branches (65.5%). The apparent capability of C. vermifera to colonize by direct contact may be another key ability of this species to maintain high frequency of occurrence in Pacific coral reefs. However, although C. tropicalis and T. mismalolli were not able to colonize new coral substrata by direct contact, coral fragments have the potential to contribute to local persistence of these sponges and to their dispersal, both by asexual (fragments) and sexual means (transport of sexual products). The present findings may partly explain the current increase of excavating sponges on deteriorating reefs with a large availability of dead branching corals. 相似文献

采用计算流体力学—离散元耦合方法(CFD-DEM)模拟海底管道床面的冲刷过程。经过模型验证,该方法的计算结果与前人的研究具有较好的一致性,证明其可以应用于海底管道周围的冲刷模拟计算。冲刷初期的结果增强了目前对启动阶段粒子运动机理的理解,即管前后压力梯度造成的渗流作用导致粒子运动。对完整冲刷过程的模拟中,发现冲刷分为冲刷启动阶段、间隙冲刷阶段和尾迹冲刷阶段。间隙冲刷阶段管道下方粒子具有较大速度,冲刷坑快速向下方发展。进入尾迹冲刷阶段后,管道后方出现周期性脱落的涡旋,沙丘上的粒子速度更大。同时利用DEM更具直观性的独特优势,首次得到了14个典型位置处颗粒的运动轨迹和运动速度,对于理解冲刷过程中粒子的运动情况具有较大帮助。 相似文献

针对深海玄武岩岩芯样品在高围压下难以破碎获得的问题,理论分析了金刚石与岩石的相互作用。采用单轴与三轴压缩实验,获得了模拟深海玄武岩的力学参数;基于颗粒流理论,建立了深海玄武岩线性平行黏结颗粒流数值模型,数值模拟高围压下金刚石颗粒破碎玄武岩的过程,获得了金刚石与玄武岩相互作用的动态力学响应规律,初步阐明金刚石破碎玄武岩机理。研究表明,玄武岩颗粒间黏接破坏主要为拉伸失效,玄武岩与金刚石接触力体现为周期应力,玄武岩产生间歇式裂隙扩散。理论分析与仿真结果基本吻合,表明建模与仿真的正确性,为深海便携式取芯钻机设计提供了理论基础与技术依据。 相似文献

The theoretical foundation of a wave–ice interaction model is reported in Part 1 of this study. The model incorporates attenuation of ocean surface waves by sea ice floes and the concomitant breaking of the floes by waves that determines the structure of the marginal ice zone (MIZ). A numerical implementation of the method is presented here. Convergence of the numerical method is demonstrated, as temporal and spatial grids are refined. A semi-analytical method, which does not require time-stepping, is also developed to validate the numerical results, when dispersion is neglected. The wave energy lost during ice breakage is parameterized, as part of the numerical method. Sensitivity studies are conducted in relation to the energy loss and also dispersive effects, the choice of the attenuation model, the properties of the wave field, and sea ice properties such as concentration, thickness and breaking strain. Example simulations intended to represent conditions in the Fram Strait in 2007, which exploit reanalyzed wave and ice model data, are shown to conclude the results section. These are compared to estimates of MIZ widths based on a concentration criteria, and obtained from remotely-sensed passive microwave images. 相似文献

依据斯托克斯原理制作了水淘选颗粒物分级装置,考察了流量对于颗粒物分级的影响,确定了适宜的操作流量。同时在选定的实验条件下对现场悬浮颗粒物进行了分级,并用吸管法对方法的分级效率进行了检验。结果表明,水淘选装置对悬浮颗粒物各粒级颗粒物的分级效率在50%~95%之间,分级效果较好。同时运用建立的方法对在长江、长江口以及黄河获得的悬浮颗粒物进行了现场分级,获得了不同粒级悬浮颗粒物,并进而采用改进的SEDEX方法进行了磷的赋存形态分析,结果表明:有机磷、自生磷灰石磷主要存在于细颗粒物中,而碎屑磷则主要集中粗颗粒物中。 相似文献
