In this paper, a theory for synchronization of multiple dynamical systems under specific constraints is developed from a theory of discontinuous dynamical systems. The concepts on synchronization of two or more dynamical systems to specific constraints are presented. The synchronization, desynchronization and penetration of multiple dynamical systems to multiple specified constraints are discussed, and the necessary and sufficient conditions for such synchronicity are developed. The synchronicity of two dynamical systems to a single specific constraint and to multiple specific constraints is investigated. Finally, the synchronization and the corresponding complexity for multiple slave systems with multiple master systems are discussed briefly. The meaning of synchronization for dynamical systems with constraints is extended as a generalized, universal concept. The theory presented in this paper may be as a universal theory for dynamical systems. The paper provides a theoretic frame work in order to control slave systems which can be synchronized with master systems through specific constraints in a general sense.  相似文献

An iterative analytical theory in the mechanics of layered composite systems is developed. The prehistory of the nonclassical theory of layered systems is presented. The division of this theory into two principal directions - discrete-structural and continuous-structural - is mentioned. The basic iterative Ambartsumyan theory, which belongs to the second direction, is described. The formation of the generalized iteration theory of first approximation is shown. In this theory, the disagreement between the kinematic and static models is removed, i.e., a generalization of these models is realized. The theory of second approximation is described. An iterative principle is presented for the formation of a higher-approximation nonclassical theory. Based on this principle, theories of anisotropic composite shallow shells, plates, and beams are formulated. Comparative calculation results for different layered composite systems are presented.  相似文献

Binary coherent system theory has played an important part in reliability. Its extension to (‘degradable’ or ‘multistate’ or) multinary systems has recently been considered in various papers, through various definitions. This paper lays the foundations of a unified theory for coherent systems by first giving unified arguments to apply and to investigate further binary and multinary systems. Monotone binary systems are introduced and examined by generalizing classic deterministic and probabilistic results. Applications of monotone coherence to the multinary case are proposed in a companion paper with a unified viewpoint on multinary coherent systems. As an indication, monotone constraints are defined with a partition of the component set and some total orderings imposed on the elements of the concerned partition. The discrete partition retrieves the classic theory of (free) binary coherent systems; some constraints defined from component levels lead to multinary coherent systems; some other constraints apply to systems submitted to some ‘common stresses’, e.g. the organizing system of a monotone coherent decomposition.  相似文献

Examples of mechanical systems with hyperbolic chaos are discussed, including the Thurston–Weeks–Hunt–MacKay hinge mechanism, in which conservative Anosov dynamics is realized, and dissipative systems with Smale–Williams type attractors (a particle on a plane under periodic kicks, interacting particles sliding on two alternately rotating disks, and a string with parametric excitation by modulated pump). The examples considered in the paper are interesting from the viewpoint of filling hyperbolic theory, as a well-developed field of the mathematical theory of dynamical systems, with physical content. The results of computer tests for hyperbolicity of the systems are presented that are based on the analysis of the statistics of intersection angles of stable and unstable manifolds.  相似文献

In this paper, we use the modern systems theory to retrace the history of some of the important and interesting philosophical problems. And, based on the discussion, it is shown that the multilevel structure of the nature can be approached by making use of the general systems theory approach started by Mesarovic in the early 1960s. Two difficulties appearing in modern physics are listed, and studied in terms of a new mathematical theory. This theory reflects the characteristic of multilevels of the nature. Some elementary properties of the new theory are listed. Some important and fruitful leads for future research are posed in the final section.  相似文献

Systems theory is seen as stressing the rational mind (what we think about) to the detriment of the transactional mind (which we use day-to-day). This stress can be harmful to practitioners who must work in practical, transactional worlds. Rather than attempting to be infinitely rational, we propose a position halfway to infinity-rational and transactional combined.Much of systems theory is pleasing to hear and difficult to contradict. Much of the theory is about design of systems, but it is in the often non-rational process of implementation that the real system emerges. Also the theory tells us about systems but not how to identify the `correct' system that our O.R. efforts are impacting. The theory also tells about complexity, but the tools presented for handling it do not seem related to the theory.The halfway position is to build a body of contingent theory from reflection on experience, using systems theory as a framework for thinking rather than a guide for action.  相似文献

The article presents a new universal theory of dynamical chaos in nonlinear dissipative systems of differential equations, including autonomous and nonautonomous ordinary differential equations (ODE), partial differential equations, and delay differential equations. The theory relies on four remarkable results: Feigenbaum’s period doubling theory for cycles of one-dimensional unimodal maps, Sharkovskii’s theory of birth of cycles of arbitrary period up to cycle of period three in one-dimensional unimodal maps, Magnitskii’s theory of rotor singular point in two-dimensional nonautonomous ODE systems, acting as a bridge between one-dimensional maps and differential equations, and Magnitskii’s theory of homoclinic bifurcation cascade that follows the Sharkovskii cascade. All the theoretical propositions are rigorously proved and illustrated with numerous analytical examples and numerical computations, which are presented for all classical chaotic nonlinear dissipative systems of differential equations.  相似文献

Finite-time consensus problems of the leader-following multi-agent systems with jointly-reachable leader and switching jointly-reachable leader are studied in this paper. Based on the graph theory, LaSalle’s invariance principle and Lyapunov stability theory, the finite-time consensus protocols are presented for the first-order and second-order leader-following systems. Some examples and simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results.  相似文献
