γ-La2S3 nanoparticles were successfully prepared by thermal decomposition of lanthanum complex La(Et2S2CN)3·phen at low temperature. The obtained sample was characterized by the X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and element analysis. The effect of Fe doping on the electrical properties of lanthanum silicates was investigated. The apatite-type lanthanum silicates La10Si6-xFexO27-x/2 (x=0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0) were synthesized via sol-gel process. The unit cell volume increased with Fe doping because the ionic radius of Fe3+ ion is larger than that of Si4+ ion. The conductivities of La10Si6-xFexO27-x/2first increased and then decreased with the in-creasing of Fe content. The increase of the conductivity might be attributed to the distortion of the cell lattice, which assisted the migration of the interstitial oxygen ions. The decrease of the conductivity might be caused by the lower concentration of interstitial oxygen ions. The op-timum Fe doping content in lanthanum silicates was 0.6. La10Si5.4Fe0.6O26.7 exhibited the highest ionic conductivity of 2.712×10-2 S/cm at 800 ℃. The dependence of conductivity on oxygen partial pressure p(O2) suggested that the conductivity of La10Si6-xFexO27-x/2 was mainly con-tributed by ionic conductivity.  相似文献

The dynamic compressive behavior and constitutive relations of Lanthanum(La) metal was determined by using the first compression in split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB) tests at different strain rates and temperatures.The constitutive relation of La metal determined in a certain range of strains was employed and adjusted in numerically simulating large deformations of La metal specimens generated by multi-compression in SHPB tests and recorded by a high-speed camera.The dynamic compressive behavior and constitutive relations of La metal under multiple SHPB tests loading was also revealed.The results of scanning electron microscope(SEM) investigation of the recovered La metal specimens for typical tests showed that there was a variety of deformation microstructures depending on strain rate,temperature and stress state.  相似文献

Graphitized carbon/carbon composites were prepared by the process of catalytic graphitization with the rare-earth catalyst, lantha-num oxide (La2O3), in order to increase the degree of graphitization and reduce the electrical resistivity. The modified coal tar pitch and coal-based needle coke were used as carbon source, and a small amount of La2O3 was added to catalyze the graphitization of the disordered carbon materials. The effects of La2O3 catalyst on the graphitization degree and microstructure of the carbon/carbon composites were investi-gated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy. The results showed that La2O3 promoted the formation of more perfect and larger crystallites, and improved the electrical/mechanical properties of carbon/carbon composites. Carbon/carbon compos-ites with a lower electrical resistivity (7.0 ???m) could be prepared when adding 5 wt.% La2O3 powder with heating treatment at 2800 oC. The catalytic effect of La2O3 for the graphitization of carbon/carbon composites was analyzed.  相似文献

The antiwear and friction-reducing performances of sodium borate, potassium borate and lanthanum chloride in water were evaluated on a four-ball friction tester. The topographies, element distribution and chemical characteristics of the worn surfaces were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersion of X-ray (EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscope (XPS). The results indicated that sodium borate, potassium borate and lanthanum chloride increased extreme pressure, antiwear and friction-reducing capacities of water to a certain extent, of which potassium borate was the best candidate. Combination of lanthanum chloride with sodium borate and po- tassium borate respectively further improved antiwear and friction-reducing capacities. Scratches of worn surfaces lubricated with water containing borates and lanthanum chloride were less severe than those lubricated with water containing borates alone. A tribochemical film mainly composed of oxides of lanthanum, boron and iron reduced friction and wear for water lubricant formulated with both borates and lanthanum chloride.  相似文献

Rare earth elements(REEs) were reported to have adverse biology effects on plant growth and production. However, whether REEs are involved in plant hormone abscisic acid signal is not clear. Here we reported that REE lanthanum(La) interacted with abscisic acid(ABA) in the regulation of seed germination and root growth in model plant Arabidopsis. La3+at a concentration of 10 μmol/L alleviated ABA depression of seed germination and reversed ABA inhibition of root elongation growth in Arabidopsis. Previous studies showed that ABA could promote root hair development. In the present study, La3+inhibited root hair development promoted by ABA. Moreover, La3+inhibited H2 O2 generation induced by ABA in root cells. Therefore we inferred that La3+might interact with ABA upstream of H2 O2 generation.  相似文献

The direct synthesis of La-SBA-15 mesoporous material by two-step synthesis method was reported. The effect of pH value during the process on the incorporation of La into the framework of SBA-15 was investigated, and XRD, UV-vis, FT-/R, and ICP were used to characterize the obtained La-SBA-15. The experimental results showed that a large amount of La could enter SBA-15 framework under suitable pH value while a highly ordered mesostructure of samples containing La was retained. In addition, the obtained La-SBA-15 exhibited good catalytic performance in the combustion of trichloroethylene.  相似文献

In order to investigate the effects of lanthanum(Ⅲ) on cell ultrastructure of soybean leaves under elevated ultraviolet-B irradiation (UV-B, 280-320 rim), the chloroplast ultrastructure of soybean seedlings was studied by hydroponics under laboratory conditions. The re-sults showed that the thylakoid in chloroplast was orderly and clearly as soybean leaves were pretreated by La(Ⅲ). The thylakoid was indis-tinctly disordered, expanded and even indiscoverable in the chloroplast under UV-B stress. The impact on the thylakoid by the high in-tensity UV-B irradiation (T2) was bigger than that by the low intensity UV-B irradiation (T1). However, the destruction of the chloroplast structure caused by UV-B stress was alleviated by La(Ⅲ), and the arrangement of the thylakoid in the chloroplast became orderly and clearly. The effect of the alleviation by La(Ⅲ) under the low intensity UV-B irradiation (T1) was better than that under the high intensity UV-B irradiation (T2).  相似文献

Single crystals of LaP3O9·3H2O were prepared using a classical method of aqueous chemistry whereas those of the ultraphosphate LaP5O14 were obtained by flux method.Thermal treatment of LaP3O9·3H2O up to 700 °C allowed us to obtain the lanthanum polyphosphate La(PO3)3.The conductivity as well as the vibrational study of the lanthanum ultraphosphate and polyphosphate were analysed in order to explain the mechanism of conduction.Activation energies of 0.45 and 0.84 eV,deduced from the Arrhenius relation,were respectively found for the polyphosphate and the ultraphosphate.Taking into account the structural features of these materials we linked the origin of their electrical properties to the incorporation of atmospheric humidity.Thus,it was a proton conduction phenomenon which took place as a result of the establishment of hydrogen bonds as well as the reorganisation of water molecules already incorporated into these structures.Referring to the Grotthuss mechanism,a proton transfer model inside the polyphosphate's structure was suggested.  相似文献

Rare earth elements have been used for 30 years in Chinese agriculture to improve growth and yield. Numerous scientific studies have shown improvements in physiology, mineral nutrition, and growth, though deleterious effects may also occur. Very few studies have been performed on woody species. We exponentially fertilized one-year old black walnut (Juglans nigra L.) seedlings with 0, 0.1, 1, 10, or 100 mg lanthanum (La) and 800 mg nitrogen (N) as NaNO3, (NH4)2SO4, NH4NO3, or no N. One month following final fertilization, growth, mineral nutrition, photosynthesis, chlorophyll, and nitrate reductase activity were assessed. Plants fertilized with the highest level of La had reduced fine root growth, concentrations of magnesium, calcium, nickel, and phosphorus, photosynthesis levels, and chlorophyll a content. Foliar La concentration showed an interaction effect, with three to four times greater concentration in plants fed at 100 mg La to those given 10 mg La for (NH4)2SO4 and NH4NO3 treatments. The results suggested no beneficial effects of La addition at levels used in this study and interactions between N source and La levels did not have an important impact on the growth, mineral nutrition, or physiology of black walnut seedlings.  相似文献

Hydrogen storage properties of 2LiNH2-MgH2 system were improved by adding lanthanum hydride (LaH3), and the role of LaH3 in hydrogen sorption process of Li-Mg-N-H system was investigated. Temperature programmed sorption results showed that the addition of lanthanum hydride reduced the dehydriding/hydriding onset temperature of 2LiNH2-MgH2 system by at least 15 K. Moreover, A 0.053 wt.%/min average rate was determined for the hydrogen desorption of 2LiNH2-MgH2-0.05LaH3 composite, while it was only 0.035 wt.%/min for 2LiNH2-MgH2 system. Hydrogen absorption capacity increased from 1.62 wt.% to 2.12 wt.% within 200 min by adding LaH3 into 2LiNH2-MgH2 system at 383 K. In the dehydrogenation of 2LiNH2-MgH2-0.05LaH3 composite, LaH2 transferred to LaN phase, which reversed to LaH2 in the following hydrogen adsorption process. The reversible reaction of LaH2 ef- fectively promoted the hydrogen sorption of Li-Mg-N-H system. Moreover, the homogenous distribution of fine La hydride was fa- vorable to improving effect of lanthanum hydride.  相似文献

Isothermal and cyclic oxidizing behavior of Co-40Cr alloy and its lanthanum ion-implanted samples were studied at 1000 ℃ in the air by thermal-gravimetric analysis (TGA). Scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and transmission electronic microscopy (TEM) were used to examine the morphology and structure of oxide film after oxidation. Secondary ion mass spectrum (SIMS) method was used to examine the binding energy change of chromium caused by La-doping and its influence on the formation of Cr2O3 film. laser Raman spectrum was used to examine the stress changes within the oxide film. It was found that lanthanum implantation remarkably reduced isothermal oxidizing rate of Co-40Cr and improved anti-cracking and anti-spalling properties of Cr2O3 oxide film. The reasons for the improvement were mainly that the implanted lanthanum reduced the grain size and internal stress of Cr2O3 oxide and increased high temperature plasticity of the oxide film. Lanthanum mainly existed on the outer surface of Cr2O3 oxide film in the form of fine La2O3 and LaCrO3 spinel particles.  相似文献

Pepper seedlings were hydroponically cultivated in 0-20 mg/L extraneous lanthanum chloride (La3+) for different numbers of days to investigate its regulating effects under salt stress. The results showed that, depending on the salt stress of 0.75 g/L, a lower concentration of La3+ (1.0 rag/L) might result in the lowest death rate, increase POD activity and change the band type of the stem and root on the 8th day. Furthermore, a methylation analysis by the methylation-sensitive amplified polymorphism (MSAP) technique indicated that a lower concentration of La3+ (1.0 mg/L) triggered the lowest methylation level of 26.1%, of which the hypermethylation events were the primary type of methylation. In addition, the sequencing of 14 differ- entially expressed polymorphic fragments and the subsequent blast search revealed that La3+ could induce methylation events in salt-tolerance sequences.  相似文献

The effect of rare earth doping on thermo-physical properties of lanthanum zirconate was investigated. Oxide powders of various compositions La2Zr2O7 were synthesized by coprecipitation-calcination method. High-temperature dilatometer, DSC, and laser thermal diffusivity methods were used to analyze thermal expansion coefficient (TEC), specific heat, and thermal diffusivity. The results showed that CeO2 doped pyrochlores La2(Zr1.8Ce0.2)2O7 and La1.7(DyNd)0.15(Zr0.8Ce0.2)2O7 had higher TEC than La2Zr2O7 and La1.7Dy0.3Zr2O7. La2(Zr1.8Ce0.2)2O7, La1.7Dy0.3Zr2O7, and La1.7(DyNd)0.15(Zr0.8Ce0.2)2O7 had lower thermal conductivity than undoped La2Zr2O7. The Dy2O3, Nd2O3, and CeO2 codoped composition showed the lowest thermal conductivity and the highest TEC. Thermo-physical results also indicated that TEC of rare earth oxide doped La2Zr2O7 ceramic was slightly higher than that of conventional ZrO2-8Wt.% Y2O3 (8YSZ), and its thermal conductivity was lower than that of 8YSZ.  相似文献

The effect of lanthanum content in the range of 0-0.011 wt.%,on the inclusion size distribution,microstructure,texture and magnetic properties of three non-oriented electrical steels was studied.After final annealing,lanthanum effectively inhibited the precipitation of MnS precipitates in steel,the formations of La2O2S and LaS inclusions not only acted as nuclei of AlN precipitates,but also combined with Al2O3 and formed composite inclusions with larger size.Grain size firstly increased and then decreased with lanthanum content increasing.Steel containing 0.0066 wt.% lanthanum obtained the largest grain size,the strongest {110}<110> texture and the weakest {112}<110> texture among all the tested steels.Magnetic flux density firstly increased and then decreased,core loss firstly dramatically decreased and then slightly decreased with lanthanum content increasing.Among the three tested steels,steel with 0.0066 wt.% lanthanum demonstrated the best comprehensive magnetic properties mainly through the development of favorable texture and appropriate final grain size.  相似文献
