目前点阵图像依然是Web环境下表现图形的主要方式,由于其固有的弱点,难以满足实际应用需要.而少量的几种能够在Web环境下表现矢量图形的软件也存在着通用性差、可维护性差、开放性差等问题,不利于推广应用.基于SvG(scalable vector graphics)规范,构建具有多图层描述能力和开放式特征的矢量图形数据结构,设计并实现能够识别多层次结构的矢量图形变换算法,是解决Web环境下复杂图形处理任务的可行途径.利用G元素的可嵌套容器性质构建了支持多图层/图块的矢量图形数据结构;依托图形对象拾取与对象属性控制机制设计了图形对象的变换算法,据此通过脚本语言和DOM(document object model)编程实现了支持多图层结构的矢量图形表现与变换功能的方法.  相似文献

铅笔素描是以单色线条来表现物体的艺术。画家观察物体的形体结构,以线塑型表现物体明暗层次和形体特征。为了表现物体的立体感,提出一种利用形体特征的铅笔素描画生成方法。首先对图像进行双边滤波处理,去除图像微小细节;然后由亮度图像计算其向量场,根据物体的形体特征对向量进行平滑,使其符合原图像的形体特征;最后利用线积分卷积的方法生成铅笔素描纹理,调整明暗对比后得到铅笔素描的效果。实验结果表明,该方法能有效地绘制铅笔素描的立体感和明暗关系。  相似文献

Clip art is a simplified illustration form consisting of layered filled polygons or closed curves used to convey 3D shape information in a 2D vector graphics format. This paper focuses on the problem of direct conversion of smooth surfaces, ranging from the free-form shapes of art and design to the mathematical structures of geometry and topology, into a clip art form suitable for illustration use in books, papers and presentations.We show how to represent silhouette, shadow, gleam and other surface feature curves as the intersection of implicit surfaces, and derive equations for their efficient interrogation via particle chains. We further describe how to sort, orient, identify and fill the closed regions that overlay to form clip art. We demonstrate the results with numerous renderings used to illustrate the paper itself.  相似文献

Model driven engineering (MDE) of software product lines (SPLs) merges two increasing important paradigms that synthesize programs by transformation. MDE creates programs by transforming models, and SPLs elaborate programs by applying transformations called features. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a transformational model of a product line of scalar vector graphics and JavaScript applications. We explain how we simplified our implementation by lifting selected features and their compositions from our original product line (whose implementations were complex) to features and their compositions of another product line (whose specifications were simple). We used operators to map higher-level features and their compositions to their lower-level counterparts. Doing so exposed commuting relationships among feature compositions in both product lines that helped validate our model and implementation.  相似文献

Vector graphics are popular in illustration and graphic design. Images are composed of discrete geometric shapes, such as circles, squares, and lines. The generation of vector images by evolutionary computation techniques, however, has been given little attention. JNetic is an implementation of a comprehensive evolutionary vector graphics tool. Vector primitives available range from simple geometric shapes (circles, polygons) to spline-based paint strokes. JNetic supports automatic and user-guided evolution, chromosome editing, and high-detail masks. Automatic evolution involves measuring the pixel-by-pixel colour distance between a candidate and target image. Masks can be painted over areas of the target image, which help reproduce the high-detail features within those areas. By creative selection of primitives and colour schemes, stylized interpretations of target images are produced. The system has been successfully used by the authors as a creative tool.  相似文献

Computer graphics has been used to display engineering and scientific data for a number of years. Early uses included graphing of simple functions or experimental data as an aid to understanding complex models. Significant improvements in graphics system capability have occurred since such early uses. Here, we will follow a typical engineering problem and analyze a number of graphical "solutions" to it, in order to show how state-of-the art computer graphics can aid engineers, scientists, and problem solvers. We present a novel shape‐aware method for synthesizing 2D and 3D discrete element textures consisting of collections of distinct vector graphics objects. Extending the long‐proven point process framework, we propose a shape process, a novel stochastic model based on spatial measurements that fully take into account the geometry of the elements. We demonstrate that our approach is well‐suited for discrete texture synthesis by example. Our model enables for both robust statistical parameter estimation and reliable output generation by Monte Carlo sampling. Our numerous experiments show that contrary to current state‐of‐the‐art techniques, our algorithm manages to capture anisotropic element distributions and systematically prevents undesirable collisions between objects.  相似文献

The graphics capability (DISPLAY) of a large scale interactive molecular modeling system (AIMS) is described and discussed.DISPLAY allows the transparent use of a lower level graphics network GRANET. GRANET provides communication links and software packages unifying an aggregate of computers and graphics systems at Ames Research Center. The graphics devices used by DISPLAY are analyzed in terms of their display capabilities and other features. The Evans and Sutherland Picture System (E&S) with its interactive capabilities is seen to be one of the most powerful devices used by DISPLAY. The DISPLAY subsystem can present molecular models in any of three graphic formats—wireframe, ball and stick and space-filling. The software comprising DISPLAY provides five major features: (1) DIRECT—which allows models to be viewed directly from a molecular library: (2) STATIC—which provides a means of producing single plots on several types of recording media: (3) DYNAMIC—which supports the production of multiple frame plot files: (4) BEZIER—where the representation of a model is given in terms of control points and parametric patches which define its surface: and (5) SCANLINE—whereby raster techniques are used to build an image of a model line by line. These features are discussed in terms of their software implementation, conceptual content, and application to ongoing research.

It is found that despite certain limitations, the system provides a useful assortment of graphics which aid the researcher in model visualization and understanding.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the main features of VISTO (Vector Image Search TOol), a new content-based image retrieval (CBIR) system for vector images. Though unsuitable for photo-realistic imagery, vector graphics are continually becoming more advanced and diffused. Vector images are fully scalable, resolution independent, not restricted to rectangular shape, allowing layering and editable/searchable text. Notwithstanding this increasing interest, the research area concerning CBIR systems for vectorial images is quite new, and our research on a vector based CBIR system actually derives from a precise request of vector based application experts that did not find appropriate solutions to their retrieval problems in customary shape-based CBIR system. To the best of our knowledge, VISTO is the first CBIR system for vector images proposed in the literature, and it supports the retrieval of images in SVG (scalable vector graphics) format.  相似文献
