Effect of vinblastine during high activity of the anticoagulating system on the growth of sarcoma 45 in rats and several blood indicators in animals with tumors

The strong depressive effect of vinblastine on the rat sarcoma 45 growth and intensification of this effect by the combination of vinblastine treatment with the activation of the blood anticoagulating system (BAS) were found. Vinblastine had no negative effect on the BAS activation process and induced no persistent changes in the qualitative content of leucocytes in the peripheral blood.     

肺硬化性血管瘤的光镜和电镜观察

Scanning electron microscopic method for studying the interaction of normal peritoneal macrophages with tumor cells

It is shown that the damage action of normal peritoneal macrophages of mice includes inhibition of the proliferating activity of the mastocytoma P-815 cells and their complete destruction accompanied by the breaks of their cytoplasmic membrane. Scanning electron microscopy was used to reveal two types of contacts between peritoneal macrophages and cells P-815; the loss of microvilli and the appearance of blebs on cell surface in the case of adsorption of P-815 cells on macrophages; the contact through long filopodia which are sent forth by macrophages in the case when contacting cells are at some distance from each other.     

High voltage electron microscopic studies on mitral, tufted, and granule cells in the mouse olfactory bulb

High-voltage electron microscopic observations have been performed on intraglomerular dendritic branches of mitral and tufted cells and spines of granule cells in the Golgi-impregnated mouse olfactory bulb. The observations revealed that intraglomerular tufts of mitral and tufted cells have a very similar structure consisting of four morphologically distinct parts: (i) thick, smoothly outlined proximal parts; (ii) relatively thick varicose parts; (iii) very thin varicose parts, which form terminal branches; and (iv) spine-like small appendages. Granule cell spines in the external plexiform and mitral body layer have terminal swellings of various shapes and sizes, whose width is between 0.4 and 1.5 microns. Spines in the granule cell layer usually have swellings smaller than 0.4 micron in width. In addition, the density of spines per proximal 10 microns length of a deep dendritic trunk was estimated in 10 granule cells and proved to vary greatly from cell to cell--from 7 to 28 spines.     

Scanning and transmission electron microscopic studies on the upper and lower surfaces of the frog skin epidermal cells.

We examined the fine structure of the upper and lower surfaces of stratified squamous epithelial cells in the skin of frogs (Hyla japonica). SEM revealed the upper surface of superficial cells covered with ramified microridges (type 3). The width of the microridges was 0.20-0.24 microns. Microridges found at the cell boundary were about 0.30 microns in width and a narrow furrow was seen between the two cells. The numerous oval disk-like structures (0.23 x 0.32 microns in diameter) covered the lower surface of these superficial cells. The upper surface of cells in the 2nd layer was covered with baculiform or ramified microridges (type 2 or 3). On the cell boundary, two linear microridges (0.23-0.27 microns in width) were parallelly arranged. The width of the microridges covering the upper cell surface was 0.09-0.10 microns. Microvilli-like processes with a height of 0.32-0.37 microns were interspersed among the microridges. Their tip formed an oval plane (0.23 x 0.31 microns), which corresponded to the size of the disk-like structures on the lower surface of the superficial cells. Desmosomes were observed on the tip by TEM. These findings show that the disk-like structures on the lower surface of the superficial cells are the sites of binding with the microvilli-like processes on the upper surface of the 2nd layer cells. The disk-like structures observed in the present study seem to be equivalent to the binding site on the upper surface of the surface cell layer of mammalian stratified squamous epithelium.     

促纤维增生性小圆细胞瘤的光学显微镜及电子显微镜观察

目的：研究促纤维增生性小圆细胞瘤（desmoplastic small round cell tumor,DSRCT）的病理学及超微结构特点。方法：3例DSRCT进行HE光镜、免疫组化染色,2例进行透射电镜观察。结果：瘤细胞呈不规则的大小不一的巢团和染索状结构并埋没在增生的纤维结缔组织中;免疫组化显示瘤细胞具有上皮源性、间质性和神经源性等多向分化的特点;电镜特征性结构为多数瘤细胞胞浆内核旁区有大小不同的中间丝聚集物,呈小球形或螺纹状排列,有的中间丝占据胞浆的较大比较。结论：DSRCT具有特殊的组织学、免疫组化及超微结构特征,DSRCT的超微结构观察在肿瘤的诊断和鉴别诊断中有重要价值。     

Scanning and transmission electron microscopic observations of chick primordial germ cells with special reference to the extravasation in their migration course

Chick primordial germ cells (PGCs) in the final course of their migration were observed by scanning (SEM) and transmission (TEM) electron microscopy, with an emphasis on their extravasation. The profile of the PGCs leaving blood vessels were first revealed under SEM. Chick embryos at stages 16 and 17 (about 2.5 days of incubation) were employed for the present study, since the PGCs emerging out of the vessels in teh gonadal area could be observed in high frequency at this developmental period. PGCs in the vessels showed a round profile, possessing many microvilli, while extravasating PGCs were rather oligovillous except the one side of the cell, where long filopodia extended toward the wall of the vessels. These filopodia seem to adhere to the wall of the vessels prior to emerging out. After extravasation, PGCs moved toward adjacent prospective gonadal epithelium and invaded it by amoeboidism. Following the settling down in the epithelium, PGCs showed rugged surface with few microvilli.     

温度及药物对肿瘤细胞影响的超微结构研究

本实验应用透射电镜观察不同温度以及不同温度加温度加抗肿瘤药物（嘧福绿）作用下的人卵巢癌细胞超微结构的变化,探讨热疗与化地肿瘤细胞作用的机理。实验结果表明,在高温下细胞代谢降低,肿瘤细胞的形态发生一系列恶性变化,且高热可能诱导肿瘤细胞的凋亡;热中化疗的协同作用则能加速肿瘤细胞的凋亡,使细胞的能量代谢更低,随着作用时间的延长,最终导致细胞死亡。     

长焦距光学系统中反射光路的设计与装调

针对双高斯型长焦距光学系统后工作距离较长的特点,在光学系统的后工作距离内设计两块反射镜折转光路,缩小光学仪器的尺寸,节省仪器空间和质量。通过反射作用矩阵计算分析了加入两块反射镜后,系统成像不改变。设计了精密螺纹幅微调机构,用于调整反射镜的俯仰和方位角度,调整后固定;设计了十字线和辐射状相结合的像面标定工装及多显微镜组合使用的装调观察工具,提高了装调效率。规划出粗、精相结合的对无穷远目标标定的装调方法,最终标定像面。所使用的设计方案和装调方法在实际工作中切实可行。
