四元数体上的矩阵及其优化理论

本文引入了四元数体 Q 上的广义双随机矩阵,给出了它与优化的关系.由此,我们得出了四元数矩阵奇异值的一些重要不等式,特别是得出了四元数矩阵的和与积的奇异值不等式.我们还讨论了四元数自共轭矩阵的和与积的特征值等.推广了复数域上矩阵的许多著名结果.     

四元数矩阵的特征值与奇异值不等式

关于复矩阵特征值与奇异值不等式的研究,[1]中已有既系统又较深入的综述。四元数矩阵的特征值,自[2]、[3]的工作以来,近三十年中进展甚微,其特征值不等式至今未见论述。近些年来,由于体上矩阵标准形理论研究的进展,谢先生在[5]中定义了体上一类矩阵的特征值,使得这方面的研究又有了新的势头。本文就是在[5]的特征值定义下,对四元数矩阵的特征值与奇异值不等式作些考察,将复矩阵论中著名的特征值Cauchy交错定理,奇异值Thompson交错定理以及惯性律的Ostrowski数量公式推广到四元数体H上。     

自共轭四元数循环矩阵的特征值问题

循环矩阵是一类应用广泛的特殊矩阵.设A是一个自共轭四元数循环矩阵,运用四元数矩阵的复表示,以及循环矩阵的特定结构形式,得到了矩阵A的特征值的计算公式.反之,对于任意给定的n个实数,证明了一定存在自共轭四元数循环矩阵A,使得A以这n个实数为它的特征值,同时给出了自共轭四元数循环矩阵A的计算方法.推广了复循环矩阵的相关理论结果.     

分块的自共轭四元数矩阵的惯性与行列式

在谢邦杰教授的特征值与行列式定义下,本文定义了自共轭四元数矩阵的惯性,得到了分块的自共轭四元数矩阵的含有广义 Schur 补的惯性公式与行列式公式,并将 Carlso-Haynsworth-Markhan 行列式不等式推广到四元数体上。     

四元数体上共轭辛矩阵的结构及应用

把实数域上的辛矩阵概念推广到四元数体上形成共轭辛矩阵类.用矩阵四分块形式刻划了正定辛矩阵和自共轭辛矩阵的特征结构.作为应用,给出四元数矩阵方程AS=B存在四分块对角型共轭辛矩阵解的充要条件及其解的表达式,同时用数值算例说明所给方法的可行性.     

四元数自共轭矩阵乘积的特征值不等式

由于四元数对乘法无交换律,因而对四元数自共轭矩阵的特征值问题的讨论比复数矩阵的相应问题要困难得多,文[1]、[2]分别对四元数自共轭矩阵的特征值和两个四元数自共轭矩阵乘积的特征进行了估计,做了一定的工作,但与复数域上的有关结果相比较,还有较大差距.本文对四元数自共轭矩阵乘积的特征值进行了探讨.得到了较好的结论,推广了[1]、[2]中的结果。     

四元数自共轭矩阵乘积的相似变换

本文证明了下列结果:(i)四元数矩阵A可写成两个自共轭四元数矩阵的乘积A相似于实矩阵A Hermite相似于A~*.(ii)A可写成一个半正定自共轭四元数矩阵与一个自共轭四元数矩阵的乘积A相似于实对角矩阵或者A～diag(D,I_r(×)J_2(O)),其中D是一个实对角矩阵.本文还给出了体上实矩阵AB与BA相似的一个充要条件.

Emptiness of set of points of lower semicontinuity of Lyapunov exponents

We consider parametric families of differential systems with coefficients that are bounded and continuous on the half-line and uniformly in time continuously depend on a real parameter. For each Lyapunov exponent, we construct a family such that the Lyapunov exponent of its systems treated as a function of the parameter is not a lower semicontinuous function for any value of the parameter.
