A plasmonic infrared (IR) filter assisted by localized surface plasmon polaritons (LSPPs) in a Ag/SiO?/Ag T-shaped array was theoretically and experimentally investigated. By using a Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer, an angle-independent LSPP resonant mode caused by a Fabry-Pérot resonance in the structure was observed in agreement with the prediction from the rigorous coupled-wave analysis (RCWA) simulation. The resonant wavelength of the mode can also be controlled by modifying the geometry of the T-shaped structure. Such LSPP property can be used as an IR reflection-type band-stop filter with a single spectral bandwidth and an ultrahigh immunity to incident angles.  相似文献

We explore the properties of the quantum kicked harmonic osciUation governed by the Hamiltonian H=1/2p2+1/2ω02x2-K cos x∑n=-∞δ(t/T - n): The classical version of this model is known to exhibit certain type of stochastic behavior. We reduce the quantum equation of the model td quantum mapping equations. Numerical results of the mappings show that the behavior of the average energy as a function of time depends on the ration of the frequency of the external (2π/T) and that of the unperturbed system wo. The energy increases first very rapidly and then the energy growth saturates for irrational ω0T/2π. The break time is independent of the strength of the external force, but is roughly proportional to 1/ω0T.For a fixed rational ω0T/2πt,h e energy is damped oscillation for smaller T , a nd it is seemingly recurrent with time in the sense of Hogg and Huberman. In both cases, these behaviors of energy are independent of the strength of the external force and differ from the behavior of the quantum kicked rotator.  相似文献

We present a detailed calculation of the linear and nonlinear optical response of four types of monolayer twodimensional (2D) transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), having the formula MX2 with M=Mo, W and X=S, Se. The calculations are based on 6-band tight-binding model of TMDCs, and then performing a semi-classical perturbation analysis of response functions. We numerically calculate the linear χμν(1) (-ω;ω) and nonlinear surface susceptibility tensors χμνζη(3)(-ωΣ; ωr; ωs; ωt) with ωΣrst. Both non-degenerate and degenerate cases are studied for thirdharmonic generation and nonlinear refractive index, respectively. Computational results obtained with no external fitting parameters are discussed regarding two recent reported experiments on MoS2, and thus we can confirm the extraordinarily strong optical nonlinearity of TMDCs. As a possible application, we demonstrate generation of a π/4-rotated squeezed state by means of nonlinear response of TMDCs, in a silica micro-disk resonator covered with the 2D material. Our proposed method will enable accurate calculations of nonlinear optical response, such as four-wave mixing and highharmonic generation in 2D materials and their heterostructures, thus enabling study of novel functionalities of 2D photonic integrated circuits.  相似文献

为满足高功率激光装置对终端光学系统的改进要求,控制3ω光路透射元件厚度以降低激光损伤风险,避免3ω非对称聚焦与色分离元件对靶场调靶产生不利影响,本文利用非共线相位匹配原理讨论了KDP晶体Ⅰ类和Ⅱ类两种和频产生351 nm(3ω)激光及其远场色分离过程.模拟结果表明,室温20?C环境中除目前常用的共线和频外,1053 nm(ω)与526.5 nm(2ω)激光可选择Ⅰ类或Ⅱ类两种非共线和频方式实现高效3ω激光输出并在激光远场实现色分离,且具有足够的高效转换失谐角容宽.计算表明,与Ⅰ类和频类似,Ⅱ类和频也存在一个非临界相位匹配过程,其匹配方向约为θ(3ω)=86.53?.可通过增加晶体厚度克服其有效非线性系数较低的缺点,实现3ω高效输出,失谐角容宽可达±20 mrad.为满足靶场需要,解决非共线角容宽苛刻带来的调节不便,并进一步使光路紧凑,将楔角为12?的熔石英楔板置于倍频晶体之后,ω与2ω激光在熔石英楔板后表面可产生约3.5 mrad分离角.经非共线和频,使用薄透镜即可实现聚焦及色分离.该方案完全满足终端光学系统的改进要求,可作为可靠的备选方案之一.  相似文献

On-off intermittency is investigated for the model χ= (a + Г(t))χ-χ3 with Г(t) being a stochastic force. The laminar phase distribution ω(T) is studied in the parameter space of bifurcation parameter a, noise intensity D and noise correlation time τ. It is found that increasing D may stabilize the fixed point χ= 0 and reduce the exponential tail in ω(T) for a>0. An analytical solution of the laminar phase distributions is obtained for white noise and colored noise cases, respectively, which agrees with numerical simulations well.  相似文献

针对交变弱磁场的检测,研制了一种基于极化-检测双光束结构的激光抽运铷原子磁力仪.为了获得该磁力仪对磁场的响应特性,通过数值仿真分析了信号幅度随极化磁场强度、弛豫时间的变化关系,并进行了实验验证.最后通过选择合适的极化磁场使磁力仪对待测磁场的灵敏度最大.实验结果表明,优化后磁力仪灵敏度为0.2pT/(Hz)~(1/2),响应带宽3.5kHz,可用于弱磁场磁共振、高频异常物理现象等信号的检测.  相似文献

It is shown that the slowly varying amplitudes of both high and low frequency extraordinary waves propagating perpendicular to the dc magnetic field in ferromagnetic systems are described by the nonlinear SchrEdinger equation. The extraordinary waves are modulationally stable (unstable) and may evolve as dark (bright) solitons as the frequency ω satisfies ω0 < ω < ωb or ω > ω1(0 < ω < ω0 or ωa ≤ ω < ω1), where ωa, ωb, ω0 and w1 are given in the text.  相似文献

Multi-mode cavities have now attracted much attention both experimentally and theoretically. In this paper, inspired by recent experiments of cavity-assisted Raman transitions, we realize a two-axis spin Hamiltonian H = q(J_x~2+ χJ_y~2) + ω_0J_z in two cavities. This realized Hamiltonian has a distinct property that all parameters can be tuned independently. For proper parameters, the well-studied one- and two-axis twisting Hamiltonians are recovered, and the scaling of N~(-1) of the maximal squeezing factor can occur naturally. On the other hand, in the two-axis twisting Hamiltonian, spin squeezing is usually reduced when increasing the atomic resonant frequency ω_0. Surprisingly, we find that by combining with the dimensionless parameter χ(-1), this atomic resonant frequency ω_0 can enhance spin squeezing greatly. These results are beneficial for achieving the required spin squeezing in experiments.  相似文献

An analysis is given of the influence of the electron ponderomotive force on the equilibrium plasma profiles of partially ionized, radio frequency discharge sources, The ponderomotive force can be written as a gradient of a potential varying with the square of the RF field in the plasma and is largest for electrons, The impact of this electron ponderomotive force on density and electrostatic potential profiles is demonstrated using a one-dimensional analytic model with supporting numerical solutions and a two dimensional fluid simulation. For nearly collisionless plasmas the ponderomotive force is valid when ωceh/ω<1 where ωce h is the electron cyclotron frequency due to the RF magnetic field and ω is the RF driving frequency, In processing plasmas with parameters that satisfy this validity criteria, the equilibrium density profiles are weakly modified, For nearly collisionless processing plasmas with parameters such that ωceh /ω>1, the ponderomotive force, is modified by other nonlinear force terms that need to be evaluated  相似文献

Nonlocal ion transport in a weakly ionized plasma with a strong electric field is analyzed. It is assumed that charge-exchange interactions are the main mechanism of ion scattering. Ion density and drift velocity are determined for nonuniform time varying electric field by using both the direct solution of the kinetic equation and the Chapman-Enskog-type approach. The ion mean velocity is given by an integro-differential operator applied to the electric field. Ion density and drift velocity exhibit resonant behaviour when ω≃kW0, which corresponds to the resonance between ions moving with average velocity W0 and wave traveling with the phase velocity ω/k  相似文献

对于玻璃珠组成的颗粒介质样品,本文测量了横波和纵波声速,同时分析了剪切模量(G)与体积模量(B)的比值(G/B)随压强的变化规律.结果表明,在低压强下,颗粒体系的纵波声速(C_L)明显大于横波声速(c_T),且体系的CL,CT及G/B均随压强p变化呈幂律标度,即CL∝p~(0.3817),CT∝p~(0.2809)G/B∝p~(-0.4539),幂指数与文献[1]中预言的-1/2非常接近,暗示在我们实验压强范围内的颗粒样品处于L玻璃状态.此外,本文还利用快速傅里叶变换法测量了玻璃珠样品中的声学衰减特性及二阶谐波随压强的变化,发现:纵波声衰减系数(α)、接收端二倍频振幅(μ_(2ω))与基频振幅(μ_(1ω))平方的比值(μ_(2ω)/μ_(1ω)~2)均随压强的增大而幂率减小,分别为α∝p~-(-0.1879),和μ_(2ω)/μ_(1ω)~2∝p~(-0.866).  相似文献

The parameter diversity effect in coupled nonidentical elements has attracted persistent interest in nonlinear dynamics. Of fundamental importance is the so-called optimal configuration problem for how the spatial position of elements with different parameters precisely determines the dynamics of the whole system. In this work, we study the optimal configuration problem for the vibration spectra in the classical mass–spring model with a ring configuration, paying particular attention to how the configuration of different masses affects the second smallest vibration frequency (ω2) and the largest one (ωN). For the extreme values of ω2 and ωN, namely, (ω2)min, (ω2)max, (ωN)min, and (ωN)max, we find some explicit organization rules for the optimal configurations and some approximation rules when the explicit organization rules are not available. The different distributions of ω2 and ωNare compared. These findings are interesting and valuable for uncovering the underlying mechanism of the parameter diversity effect in more general cases.  相似文献

A tunable guided-mode resonant (GMR) reflection filter based on dielectric elastomer actuators (DEA) is designed. Simulating the characteristics of the filter with rigorous coupled wave analysis, it is shown that the resonant wavelength of the kind of GMR filter can be tuned from 1442.8 nm to 1644.6 nm by applying voltage on the dielectric elastomer actuators which changes the period of the grating layer of the GMR filter conveniently. Furthermore, there is an almost perfect linear relationship of resonant wavelength tuned and the period varied with negligible effect on the linewidth.  相似文献

A set of coupled nonlinear differential equations, involving the slow amplitude and phase variation for each mode, is used to simulate the multimode dynamics in the quasi-optical gyrotron. The interaction among various modes is mediated by coupling coefficients of known analytic dependence on the normalized current I, the interaction length μ, and the frequency detunings Δi corresponding to the competing frequencies ωi. The equations include all the possible resonant combinations of up to four different frequencies, ωijkl≃0, among a set of N participating modes, keeping terms up to fifth order in the wave amplitudes. The formalism is quite general and can be used to study mode competition, the existence of a final steady state and its stability, and its accessibility from given initial conditions. It is shown that when μ/β≫1, μ can be eliminated as an independent parameter. The control space is then reduced to a new normalized current I and the desynchronism parameters νiiμ for the interacting frequencies. Numerical simulations for cold beams of various cross sections demonstrate that νi is the most important parameter for the system behavior. Overmoding is not determined by the frequency separation δω among the cavity modes per se, but by the separation among the corresponding desynchronism parameters  相似文献

With time and space transformation, we first solve the Schrodinger equation of the time-dependent harmonic oscillator (TDHO) system. The properties of the squeezing in the case of ω(t) =√U + VcosΩt, i.e., the Paul trap and ω(t) = ω0 + ω1secλt, namely a stable frequency interfered by a single-pulsing-type disturbance, are investigated by using function series expansion. Results in the former case are compared with the numerical calculations carried out before. It is found that the condition related to the most strong squeezing is the direct result of our method, not any approximation is needed. Solutions of the latter one are valuable for the study of the ion trap, where different cases are studied in detail. Finally we made a discussion for the measurement and observation of a trapped ion by using squeezing properties.  相似文献

It is shown that the resonant frequency ωc* of a magnetopolaron bound to a Coulomb impurity in a GaAs/Ga1-xAlx AS quantum well is lower than that oflongitudinal optical (LO) phonons owing to the effect of the Coulomb potential. Using MacDonald method to treat the Coulomb potential we come to the conclusion that ωc* is really below the frequency of LO phonons but not "pinning" at a frequency near that of TO phonons.  相似文献

An optical signal processing scheme using time lenses in a 4-f configuration for optical communication systems is proposed. The first time-lens combined with a dispersive element such as an optical fiber produces the Fourier transform of the input signal and the second time lens combined with an optical fiber placed after the temporal filter produces the inverse Fourier transformation. Typically, in an optical signal processing scheme based on space/time-lens, the signal at the output is space/time-reversed because of the direct Fourier transformation after the spatial/temporal filter, which is undesirable for a practical optical communication system. Here, we propose a technique to implement both direct and inverse Fourier transformation using time lenses which has no spatial analogue. As a result, the bit sequence at the output is not time-reversed. Two applications of the proposed scheme, a demultiplexer for wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems and a higher-order dispersion compensator, have been discussed and numerically implemented.  相似文献

A new and simple technique for data acquisition and processing in an experiment of resonant photoacoustic detection is presented. It is based on the use of the sound card of a desk or laptop computer for digitizing the signal from a microphone enclosed in an acoustical cavity and further processing by a high-resolution fast Fourier transform. The system is applied to the detection of NO2 traces in air at atmospheric pressure with an amplitude-modulated visible laser and the results are compared with those obtained by a lock-in amplifier. We study thickness–shear and thickness–twist vibrations of a finite, monolithic, AT-cut quartz plate crystal filter with two pairs of electrodes. The equations of anisotropic elasticity are used with the omission of the small elastic constant c56. An analytical solution is obtained using Fourier series from which the resonant frequencies, mode shapes, and the vibration confinement due to the electrode inertia are calculated and examined.  相似文献

Optical switching in a guided-mode resonant grating (GMRG) with a Kerr medium was numerically simulated by the nonlinear finite differential time domain (FDTD) method. The asymmetric resonant grating was adopted to have two resonant reflection peaks for the pump light and the probe light. When the pump light had a wavelength which was slightly longer than the resonant wavelength, the light was suddenly enhanced at a certain intensity because of the nonlinear resonance phenomenon. This resonance is effective in reducing the pump intensity for optical switching. When we assumed the resonant grating of polydiacetylene toluene sulphonate (PTS) with a linear refractive index of 1.88, a third-order susceptibility of 8.5 × 10⊃−0 esu and Q factors of resonant reflection which were ∼800, the pump light of 15 kW/mm⊃ changed transmittance of the probe light from 0 to 80%. 2005 The Optical Society of Japan  相似文献
