In this paper, a generalization of the class of semicommutative rings is investigated.A ring R is called left GWZI if for any a ∈ R, l(a) is a GW-ideal of R. We prove that a ring R is left GWZI if and only if S3(R) is left GWZI if and only if Vn(R) is left GWZI for any n ≥ 2.     

Morphic环的扩张

A ring R is called left morphic, if for any a ∈ R, there exists b ∈ R such that 1R(a) = Rb and 1R(b) = Ra. In this paper, we use the method which is different from that of Lee and Zhou to investigate when R[x, σ]/(xn) is (left) morphic and when the ideal extension E(R, V) is (left) morphic. It is mainly shown that: (1) If σis an automorphism of a division ring R, then S = R[x,σ]/(xn) (n ＞ 1) is a special ring. (2) If d, m are positive integers and n = dm, then E(/n, mZn) is a morphic ring if and only if gcd(d, m) = 1.

In this paper, we generalize flat modules, regular rings and V- rings to the situation of a hereditary torsion theory, that a ring R is regular if and only if R is a left nonsingular ring and for every essential left ideal o of R, and for eve ry element a∈o there exists a element a′∈o , such that a= aa′. (theorem 3.3).     

Principal quasi-Baerness of formal power series rings

Let R be a ring. We consider left （or right） principal quasi-Baerness of the left skew formal power series ring R[[x;α]] over R where a is a ring automorphism of R. We give a necessary and sufficient condition under which the ring R[[x; α]] is left （or right） principally quasi-Baer. As an application we show that R[[x]] is left principally quasi-Baer if and only if R is left principally quasi- Baer and the left annihilator of the left ideal generated by any countable family of idempotents in R is generated by an idempotent.     

On Maximal Injectivity

A right R-module E over a ring R is said to be maximally injective in case for any maximal right ideal m of R, every R-homomorphism f ： m → E can be extended to an R-homomorphism f^1 ： R → E. In this paper, we first construct an example to show that maximal injectivity is a proper generalization of injectivity. Then we prove that any right R-module over a left perfect ring R is maximally injective if and only if it is injective. We also give a partial affirmative answer to Faith＇s conjecture by further investigating the property of maximally injective rings. Finally, we get an approximation to Faith＇s conjecture, which asserts that every injective right R-module over any left perfect right self-injective ring R is the injective hull of a projective submodule.     

Rings Whose Modules Have Grade Zero

In this paper, we prove that R is a two-sided Artinian ring and J is a right annihilator ideal if and only if (i) for any nonzero right module, there is a nonzero linear map from it to a projective module; (ii) every submodule of RR is not a radical module for some right coherent rings. We call a ring a right X ring if Homa(M, R) = 0 for any right module M implies that M = 0. We can prove some left Goldie and right X rings are right Artinian rings. Moreover we characterize semisimple rings by using X rings. A famous Faith‘s conjecture is whether a semipimary PF ring is a QF ring. Similarly we study the relationship between X rings and QF and get many interesting results.

In this paper,we define the left rank of a ring R and discuss the relatlons between a left ore reng R and its left classical quotient ring Q on the properties of their ideals and left ranks.Also we gave four equivalent types of the proposition:a ring R has a left classical quotient ring Q and Q is a division ring.As an application of this result,we gave a brief proof method which different from [2] on the theorem of the Goldie Prime rings.     

关于拟AP内射模的一些研究

Let R be a ring. R is called right AP-injective if, for any a ∈ R, there exists a left ideal of R such that lr(a) = Ra (?) Xa. We extend this notion to modules. A right .R-module M with 5 = End(MR) is called quasi AP-injective if, for any s ∈ S, there exists a left ideal Xs of S such that ls(Ker(s)) = Ss (?) Xs. In this paper, we give some characterizations and properties of quasi AP-injective modules which generalize results of Page and Zhou.     

关于周期环与Jacobson环的几个定理

A ring R is called a periodic ring, if for every x∈R there exist two distinct positive integers m(x) and n(x) such that x^m(x)=x^n(x)(cf. [1]), in particularly, if m(x) = 1 for any x∈R. then this periodic ring is called a Jacobson ring (cf. [2]).In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition for a ring to be a Jacobson ring is given and some necessary and sufficient conditions for a periodic ring or a Jacobson ring to be a field are also given.

A left ideal L of a Г-ring M is called left symmetric if aabβb∈L implies aacβb∈L, where a,b, c∈ M, a ,β∈Γ. A Γ-ring M is called to be a Γ-division ring if it has the left unity, and if left oprator ring R is a division ring.In this paper, the following results are pvoved:Suppose that every left ideal of a Γ-ring M is left symmetiic.If A is subdirectly irreducible with more than one element and with no nonzero nilpotents then it is a Γ-division ring.If M is subdirectly irreducible and if D≠M then M/D is a Γ-division ring where D=(a∈M|aΓb=0,0≠b∈M).

本文利用特征模，Ｎ０－内射维数对凝聚环给出了一些新的刻划．得到了凝聚环与ＩＦ环的一些有意义的性质．推广了引文［１］中的两个主要定理之一的定理２的结论．     

IF环和拟ZIF环

本文定义了拟ＺＩＦ环．研究了ＩＦ环与拟ＺＩＦ环的结构．进一步地，讨论了ＩＦ环与拟ＺＩＦ环的关系，并用拟ＺＩＦ环刻划了ＩＦ环．     

Local Rings of Rings of Quotients

The aim of this paper is to characterize those elements in a semiprime ring R for which taking local rings at elements and rings of quotients are commuting operations. If Q denotes the maximal ring of left quotients of R, then this happens precisely for those elements if R which are von Neumann regular in Q. An intrinsic characterization of such elements is given. We derive as a consequence that the maximal left quotient ring of a prime ring with a nonzero PI-element is primitive and has nonzero socle. If we change Q to the Martindale symmetric ring of quotients, or to the maximal symmetric ring of quotients of R, we obtain similar results: an element a in R is von Neumann regular if and only if the ring of quotients of the local ring of R at a is isomorphic to the local ring of Q at a. ON ORDER RINGS OF SEMI-PRIMARY RINGS

The main results of this paper are stated as follows.Let R be an orderring in thesemi-primary ring Q.Suppose that R satisfies the maximal condition for nil right ideals ofR,Then we have(i)if an ideal I of R has a finite length as right R-module,then I alsohas a finite length as left R-module;(ii)denote by A(R)the Artinian radical of R,andN the nil radical of R,then A(R)+N/N=A(R/N),if R satisfies the commutative condi-tion on the zero product of prime ideals of B.     

Weakly $I$-Semiregular Rings and $I$-Semiregular Rings

Let $I$ be an ideal of a ring $R$. We call $R$ weakly $I$-semiregular if $R$/$I$ is a von Neumann regular ring. This definition generalizes $I$-semiregular rings. We give a series of characterizations and properties of this class of rings. Moreover, we also give some properties of $I$-semiregular rings.     

On Quotient Rings in Alternative Rings

We introduce a notion of left nonsingularity for alternative rings and prove that an alternative ring is left nonsingular if and only if every essential left ideal is dense, if and only if its maximal left quotient ring is von Neumann regular (a Johnson-like Theorem). Finally, we obtain a Gabriel-like Theorem for alternative rings.

On CS Rings and QF Rings

In this paper, we shall discuss the conditions for a right SC right CS ring to be a QF ring. In particular, we prove that if R is a right SI right CS ring satisfying the reflexive orthogonal condition (*) and if every CS right R-module is -CS, then R is a QF ring.AMS Subject Classification (1991): 16L30 16L60     

Reversible Group Rings Over Commutative Rings

Let G be a torsion group and R be a commutative ring with identity. We investigate reversible group rings RG over commutative rings, extending results of Gutan and Kisielewicz which characterize all reversible group rings over fields.
