Based on the weakest bound electron potential model theory, the Rydberg energy levels and quantum defects of the $np^{2}$P$^{\circ}_{1 / 2}$ ($n$ = 7--50) and $np^{2}$P$^{\circ}_{3 / 2}$ ($n$ =7--50) spectrum series for the francium atom are calculated. The calculated results are in excellent agreement with the 48 measured levels, and 40 energy levels for highly excited states are predicted.  相似文献

The density functional theory (B3LYP, B3P86) and the quadratic configuration-interaction method including single and double substitutions (QCISD(T), QCISD) presented in Gaussian03 program package are employed to calculate the equilibrium internuclear distance $R_{\rm e}$, the dissociation energy $D_{\rm e }$ and the harmonic frequency $\omega _{\rm e}$ for the $X{}^{1}\Sigma^{ + }_{\rm g}$ state of sodium dimer in a number of basis sets. The conclusion is gained that the best $R_{\rm e}$, $D_{\rm e}$ and $\omega _{\rm e}$ results can be attained at the QCISD/6-311G(3df,3pd) level of theory. The potential energy curve at this level of theory for this state is obtained over a wide internuclear separation range from 0.16 to 2.0~nm and is fitted to the analytic Murrell--Sorbie function. The spectroscopic parameters $D_{\rm e}$, $D_{0}$, $R_{\rm e}$, $\omega _{\rm e}$, $\omega _{\rm e}\chi _{\rm e}$, $\alpha _{\rm e}$ and $B_{\rm e}$ are calculated to be 0.7219~eV, 0.7135~eV, 0.31813~nm, 151.63~cm$^{ - 1}$, 0.7288~cm$^{ - 1}$, 0.000729~cm$^{ - 1}$ and 0.1449~cm$^{ - 1}$, respectively, which are in good agreement with the measurements. With the potential obtained at the QCISD/6-311G(3df,3pd) level of theory, a total of 63 vibrational states is found when $J=0$ by solving the radial Schr\"{o}dinger equation of nuclear motion. The vibrational level, corresponding classical turning point and inertial rotation constant are computed for each vibrational state. The centrifugal distortion constants ($D_{\upsilon }\, H_{\upsilon }$, $L_{\upsilon }$, $M_{\upsilon }$, $N_{\upsilon }$ and $O_{\upsilon })$ are reported for the first time for the first 31 vibrational states when $J=0$.  相似文献

Di-jet production is studied in collisions of quasi-real photons at e + e- centre-of-mass energies from 189 to 209 GeV at LEP. The data were collected with the OPAL detector. Jets are reconstructed using an inclusive -clustering algorithm for all cross-section measurements presented. A cone jet algorithm is used in addition to study the different structure of the jets resulting from either of the algorithms. The inclusive di-jet cross-section is measured as a function of the mean transverse energy of the two leading jets, and as a function of the estimated fraction of the photon momentum carried by the parton entering the hard sub-process, , for different regions of . Angular distributions in di-jet events are measured and used to demonstrate the dominance of quark and gluon initiated processes in different regions of phase space. Furthermore the inclusive di-jet cross-section as a function of and is presented, where is the jet pseudo-rapidity. Different regions of the - -space are explored to study and control the influence of an underlying event. The results are compared to next-to-leading order perturbative QCD calculations and to the predictions of the leading order Monte Carlo generator PYTHIA.Received: 20 December 2002, Published online: 17 October 2003  相似文献

We search for isotropic stochastic gravitational-wave background (SGWB) in the International Pulsar Timing Array second data release. By modeling the SGWB as a power-law, we find very strong Bayesian evidence for a common-spectrum process, and further this process has scalar transverse (ST) correlations allowed in general metric theory of gravity as the Bayes factor in favor of the ST-correlated process versus the spatially uncorrelated common-spectrum process is 30 ± 2. The median and the 90% equal-tail amplitudes of ST mode are ${{ \mathcal A }}_{\mathrm{ST}}={1.29}_{-0.44}^{+0.51}\times {10}^{-15}$, or equivalently the energy density parameter per logarithm frequency is ${{\rm{\Omega }}}_{\mathrm{GW}}^{\mathrm{ST}}={2.31}_{-1.30}^{+2.19}\times {10}^{-9}$, at frequency of 1 year−1. However, we do not find any statistically significant evidence for the tensor transverse (TT) mode and then place the 95% upper limits as ${{ \mathcal A }}_{\mathrm{TT}}\lt 3.95\times {10}^{-15}$, or equivalently ${{\rm{\Omega }}}_{\mathrm{GW}}^{\mathrm{TT}}\lt 2.16\times {10}^{-9}$, at frequency of 1 year−1.  相似文献

The tau lepton lifetime has been measured with the events collected by the DELPHI detector at LEP in the years 1991-1995. Femtosecond (fs) laser pulses at variable delay times allowed us to track the fast non-radiative transitions between the manifold of highly excited $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{**}$ states to the lower lying fluorescent $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{*}$ state in CaF2. Two distinct $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{**}$ states of the manifold at 3.16?eV ( $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}2}^{**}$ ) and 4.73?eV ( $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}3}^{**}$ ) were populated using the second (SH) and third harmonics (TH) of fs laser light at 785?nm. The population kinetics of the fluorescent $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{*}$ state in the 2?eV excitation energy range was revealed by depleting its fluorescence centered at 740?nm using fundamental near infrared (NIR) fs laser pulses. The related time constants for $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}2,3}^{**}{\sim}{>} \mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{*}$ relaxation amounted to 1.0±0.14?ps and 3.0±0.3?ps upon SH and TH excitation, respectively.  相似文献

The electron tunnelling phase time τP and dwell time τD through an associated delta potential barrier U(x) = ξδ(x) are calculated and both are in the order of 10^-17~10^-16s. The results show that the dependence of the phase time on the delta barrier parameter ξ can be described by the characteristic length lc = h^2/meξ and the characteristic energy Ec=meξ^2/h^2 of the delta barrier, where me is the electron mass, lc and Ec are assumed to be the effective width and height of the delta barrier with lcEc=ξ, respectively. It is found that TD reaches its maximum and τD = τp as the energy of the tunnelling electron is equal to Ec/2, i.e. as lc =λDB, λDB is de Broglie wave length of the electron.  相似文献

Data collected at LEP at centre-of-mass energies GeV are used to study correlations of the spin of W bosons using events. Spin correlations are favoured by data, and found to agree with the Standard Model predictions. In addition, correlations between the W-boson decay planes are studied in and events. The splitting of potential energy curves for the states $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$, $^{2}\Pi _{1/2}$ and $A^{2}\Sigma ^{ +}$ of hydroxyl OH under spin--orbit coupling (SOC) has been calculated by using the SO multi-configuration quasi-degenerate perturbation theory (SO-MCQDPT). Their Murrell--Sorbie (M--S) potential functions have been derived, then, the spectroscopic constants for $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$,$^{ 2}\Pi _{1/2}$ and $A^{2}\Sigma ^{ + }$ have been derived from the M--S function. The calculated dissociation energies for the three states are $D_{0}$[OH($X^{2}\Pi _{3/2})$]=34966.632cm$^{-1}$, $D_{0}$[OH($^{2}\Pi _{1/2})$]=34922.802cm$^{-1}$, and $D_{0}$[OH($A^{2}\Sigma ^{ + })$]=17469.794cm$^{-1}$, respectively. The vertical excitation energy $\nu [ {{ }^2\Pi _{1/2} ( {\nu = 0} ) \to {X}{ }^2\Pi _{3/2} ( {\nu = 0} )} ] = 139.6{\rm cm}^{-{\rm 1}}$. All the spectroscopic data for the $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$ and $^{2}\Pi _{1/2 }$ are given for the first time except the dissociation energy of $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$.  相似文献

We report the constraints of $H_0$ obtained from Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) 9-year data combined with the latest baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) measurements. We use the BAO measurements from 6dF Galaxy Survey (6dFGS), the SDSS DR7 main galaxies sample (MGS), the BOSS DR12 galaxies, and the eBOSS DR14 quasars. Adding the recent BAO measurements to the cosmic microwave background (CMB) data from WMAP, we constrain cosmological parameters $\Omega_m=0.298\pm0.005$, $H_0=68.36^{+0.53}_{-0.52} {\rm km}\cdot {\rm s}^{-1}\cdot {\rm Mpc}^{-1}$, $\sigma_8=0.8170^{+0.0159}_{-0.0175}$ in a spatially flat $\Lambda$ cold dark matter ($\Lambda$CDM) model, and $\Omega_m=0.302\pm0.008$, $H_0=67.63\pm1.30 {\rm km}\cdot{\rm s}^{-1}\cdot {\rm Mpc}^{-1}$, $\sigma_8=0.7988^{+0.0345}_{-0.0338}$ in a spatially flat $w$CDM model, respectively. Our measured $H_0$ results prefer a value lower than 70 ${\rm km}\cdot {\rm s}^{-1}\cdot{\rm Mpc}^{-1}$, consistent with the recent data on CMB constraints from Planck (2018), but in $3.1$ and $3.5\sigma$ tension with local measurements of SH0ES (2018) in $\Lambda$CDM and $w$CDM framework, respectively. Our results indicate that there is a systematic tension on the Hubble constant between SH0ES and the combination of CMB and BAO datasets.  相似文献

The chaotic behaviours of the Rydberg hydrogen atom near a metal surface are presented. A numerical comparison of Poincare surfaces of section with recurrence spectra for a few selected scaled energies indicates the correspondence between classical motion and quantum properties of an excited electron. Both results demonstrate that the scaled energy dominates sensitively the dynamical properties of system. There exists a critical scaled energy εc, for ε 〈 εc, the system is near-integrable, and as the decrease of ε the spectrum is gradually rendered regular and finally turns into a pure Coulomb field situation. On the contrary, if ε 〉 εc, with the increase of ε, the system tends to be non-integrable, the ergodic motion in phase space presages that chaotic motion appears, and more and more electrons are adsorbed on the metal surface, thus the spectrum becomes gradually simple.  相似文献

The multi-reference configuration interaction method and aug-cc-pvqz (AVQZ) have been used to calculate potential energy curves (PECs) of the singlet and triplet states of the riu and rig symmetry of B2++. All of the four states (^l∏u, ^1∏g, ^3∏u and ^3∏g) are found to be metastable states, though the potential well of ^3∏u symmetry is very shallow. Based on the PECs, the analytical potential energy functions (APEFs) of these states have been fitted using the least square fitting method and two models of function. The spectroscopic parameters of each state are also calculated, and are compared with other investigations in the literature. The credibility and veracity of the two functions are evaluated. Some ideas to improve the fitting accuracy are presented. Also the vibrational levels for each state are predicted by solving the SchrSdinger equation of nuclear motion.  相似文献

A study of Z-boson pair production in e + e- annihilation at center-of-mass energies between 190 GeV and 209 GeV is reported. Final states containing only leptons, ( and ), quark and lepton pairs, ( , ) and only hadrons ( ) are considered. In all states with at least one Z boson decaying hadronically, lifetime, lepton and event-shape tags are used to separate pairs from final states. Limits on anomalous ZZ and ZZZ couplings are derived from the measured cross sections and from event kinematics using an optimal observable method. We study inserting Co layer thickness-dependent spin transport and spin-orbit torques (SOTs) in the Pt/Co/Py trilayers by spin-torque ferromagnetic resonance. The interfacial perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (IPMA) energy density ($K_{\rm s}= 2.7 $ erg/cm$^{2}$, 1 erg = 10$^{-7}$ J), which is dominated by interfacial spin-orbit coupling (ISOC) in the Pt/Co interface, total effective spin-mixing conductance $(G_{\mathrm{eff,tot}}^{\mathrm{\uparrow \downarrow }}=\mathrm{0.42\times }{10}^{15} \mathrm{\Omega }^{-1}\cdot\mathrm{m}^{-2}$) and two-magnon scattering ($\beta_{\mathrm{TMS}}= 0.46 {\mathrm{nm}}^{2}$) are first characterized, and the damping-like torque ($\xi_{\mathrm{DL}}= 0.103$) and field-like torque ($\xi _{\mathrm{FL}}=-0.017$) efficiencies are also calculated quantitatively by varying the thickness of the inserting Co layer. The significant enhancement of $\xi_{\mathrm{DL}}$ and $\xi_{\mathrm{FL}}$ in Pt/Co/Py than Pt/Py bilayer system originates from the interfacial Rashba-Edelstein effect due to the strong ISOC between Co-3d and Pt-5d orbitals at the Pt/Co interface. Additionally, we find a considerable out-of-plane spin polarization SOT, which is ascribed to the spin anomalous Hall effect and possible spin precession effect due to IPMA-induced perpendicular magnetization at the Pt/Co interface. Our results demonstrate that the ISOC of the Pt/Co interface plays a vital role in spin transport and SOTs-generation. Our finds offer an alternative approach to improve the conventional SOTs efficiencies and generate unconventional SOTs with out-of-plane spin polarization to develop low power Pt-based spintronic via tailoring the Pt/FM interface.  相似文献

This paper calculates the equilibrium structure and the potential energy functions of the ground state (X^2∑^+) and the low lying excited electronic state (A^2Л) of CN radical are calculated by using CASSCF method. The potential energy curves are obtained by a least square fitting to the modified Murrell-Sorbie function. On the basis of physical theory of potential energy function, harmonic frequency (ωe) and other spectroscopic constants (ωeχe, βe and αe) are calculated by employing the Rydberg-Klei-Rees method. The theoretical calculation results are in excellent agreement with the experimental and other complicated theoretical calculation data. In addition, the eigenvalues of vibrational levels have been calculated by solving the radial one-dimensional SchrSdinger equation of nuclear motion using the algebraic method based on the analytical potential energy function.  相似文献

The chirality-asymmetry macroscopic force mediated by light pseudoscalar particles between α -quartz and some achiral matter is studied. If this force between achiral source mass and α -quartz with some chirality is attractive, it will become repulsive when the chirality of the α -quartz crystal is changed. According to the tested limits of the coupling constant gs gp /\hbar c< 1.5× 10-24 at the Compton wavelength λ = 10-3 m, the force (F) between a 0.08× 0.08× 0.002 m3 block of α -quartz and a 0.08× 0.08× 0.01 m3 copper block with a separation being 0.5× 10-3 \mbox{m} in between, is estimated from the published data at less than 4.64× 10-24 N, i.e. F < 4.64× 10-24 N.  相似文献

The anomalous weak dipole moments of the lepton are measured in a data sample collected by ALEPH from 1990 to 1995 corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 155 pb-1. Tau leptons produced in the reaction at energies close to the mass are studied using their semileptonic decays to , , or . The real and imaginary components of both the anomalous weak magnetic dipole moment and the CP-violating anomalous weak electric dipole moment, , , and , are measured simultaneously by means of a likelihood fit built from the full differential cross section. Multijet production rates in neutral current deep inelastic scattering have been measured in the range of exchanged boson virtualities . The data were taken at the ep collider HERA with centre-of-mass energy using the ZEUS detector and correspond to an integrated luminosity of . Approximately 438 pb-1 of e + e- data from the OPAL detector, taken with the LEP collider running at centre-of-mass energies of 192-209 GeV, are analyzed to search for evidence of chargino pair production, , or neutralino associated production, . Limits are set at the 95% confidence level on the product of the cross-section for the process and its branching ratios to topologies containing jets and missing energy, or jets with a lepton and missing energy, and on the product of the cross-section for and its branching ratio to jets. R-parity conservation is assumed throughout this paper. When these results are interpreted in the context of the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, limits are also set on the masses of the and , and regions of the parameter space of the model are ruled out.
