The behavior of beam‐to‐column connections is significantly complicated because it depends on the material, nonlinear relationship between different members, and contact of connecting elements. Their hysteretic response exhibits highly inelastic characteristics and continuous variation in stiffness, strength, and ductility. Therefore, accurate hysteretic models of bolted connections are essential to accurate seismic assessment and design. Composed (Hybrid) modeling approach is presented to represent the complex hysteretic behavior of I beam‐to‐concrete‐filled‐tube (CFT) column bolted connection. For the purpose in this study, experimental evaluation of I beam‐to‐CFT column connection with bolted end‐plate under cyclic loading is done. It must be mentioned to make the connection easily applicable practically and also prepare the column flanges continuity, a connection with the bolts penetrated into the CFT column are used since using the stiffeners in hollow sections is not easily applicable. In the composed mechanical–informational modeling framework, the conventional mechanical model is complemented by information‐based model components. Finally, moment–rotation curves of composed model have been compared with experimental results. Comparison showed that the composed model has a good agreement with experimental results. A newly designed specimen for validation purpose of the composed modeling was made and experimented. Composed model was well applied to predict the behavior of new connections. The presented results show that the composed model has a good ability to predict of hysteretic behavior.  相似文献

This study investigates the performance of new composite (steel-concrete) moment connections through numerical simulations. The innovative aspects of this research lay in the use of end-plate connections between steel beams and concrete-filled tube (CFT) columns that utilize a combination of low-carbon steel and shape memory alloy (SMA) components. In these new connections, the intent is to use the recentering effect provided by super-elastic SMA tension bars to reduce the level of building damage and residual drift after a major earthquake. The low-carbon steel components provide excellent energy dissipation. The analysis and design of these structures is complicated because the connections cannot be modeled as being simply pins or full fixity ones; they are partial restraint (PR). A refined finite element (FE) model with sophisticated three dimensional (3D) solid elements was developed to perform numerical experiments on the PR-CFT joints with a view to obtaining the global behavior of the connection. Based on the behavioral information obtained from these FE tests, simplified connection models were formulated using 2D joint elements with nonlinear spring components. The behavior of entire connections under cyclic loads was examined. The results were compared with the connection behavior obtained from the 3D FE simulations and corresponding connection tests. Good agreement was found between the simple and sophisticated models, confirming the robustness of the approach.  相似文献

通过两个大比例十字形中柱的板柱连接试件(其中一个试件配置抗冲切锚栓),在竖向荷载和低周反复水平荷载作用下的试验,探讨了十字形中柱的板柱连接在模拟地震作用下的裂缝形态、破坏特征、混凝土以及钢筋的应变、滞回特性、位移延性等一系列受力特性。试验研究表明,十字形中柱的板柱连接与传统方形中柱的板柱连接受力性能类似,两个试件的极限侧移比都远超过了1.5%的侧移比限值要求,因此在板柱结构中引入十字形柱是可行的;配置抗冲切锚栓可以显著地提高板柱连接的承载能力和延性。此外,根据试验给出了十字形中柱的冲切临界面形式,并提出了其类似极惯性矩的计算公式,从而使十字形中柱的板柱连接可以应用现行规范的方法进行承载力分析计算,采用该方法的分析结果与试验结果符合较好。  相似文献

The paper describes an extensive survey of column tests and an evaluation of information on steel column strength. During the past twenty-five years numerous series of column tests have been conducted in European countries, North America and Japan. A total of 1665 individual test results which have been stored in an experimental data-base is retrieved and a statistical appraisal carried out to evaluate experimental column strength. Comparisons are made between the surveyed test data and the ECCS and SSRC multiple column curves. The authors also propose new multiple column formulae which explain more accurately the test data from a statistical viewpoint.  相似文献

As people migrate to densely populated cities, the importance of establishing a new transportation infrastructure to meet their needs becomes increasingly critical. The limited space available for construction makes a narrow geosynthetic reinforced soil (GRS) wall a cost-effective alternative. Prior research has primarily examined the performance of narrow GRS walls under static loads, revealing that these structures are highly vulnerable to significant crest displacements. Consequently, multiple studies have recommended incorporating mechanical connections in the upper layer during the construction of narrow GRS walls. However, some places are more susceptible to earthquakes; hence, this research was conducted to investigate the dynamic response of narrow GRS walls and quantify the effect of mechanical connections on increasing the stability of narrow GRS walls. Two sets of narrow GRS wall models were constructed, with and without mechanical connections to a stable wall, and subjected to a similar series of earthquakes. The test results indicate that the mechanical connection can reduce the accumulated normalized horizontal displacement of narrow GRS walls by 30–80% after being subjected to the same dynamic input motion excitation.  相似文献

针对钢管混凝土柱-钢梁穿心螺栓外伸端板式节点进行抗连续倒塌单调加载试验,考察节点在连续倒塌工况下的整体变形、破坏形态、节点抗力以及关键截面应变发展等,并建立穿心螺栓外伸端板式节点有限元模型,进行节点失效模式、节点核心区应力及抗力机制分析。结果表明,钢管混凝土柱-钢梁穿心螺栓外伸端板式节点在连续倒塌工况下主要经历4个阶段,即梁机制阶段、混合机制阶段、悬链线机制阶段及破坏阶段;节点抗倒塌承载力由节点抗弯能力和抗拉能力提供,其中抗拉能力对节点抗连续倒塌能力贡献远超于抗弯能力;节点的倒塌破坏一般发生在钢梁与外伸端板连接处,裂缝贯穿下翼缘后迅速延伸至钢梁腹板;形心轴下方穿心螺栓群拉应力持续增大,形心轴上方穿心螺栓群在加载初期拉应力较小,随着竖向位移的增大其拉应力逐渐增大;外伸端板应力主要集中在螺栓孔周围,随着竖向位移增大形心轴上方应力集中区面积减小,形心轴下方应力增大。  相似文献

In this paper, a technique for the study of nonlinear performance of structures in different levels of earthquakes is developed. In this method, the Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA) curves are not achieved from nonlinear dynamic analysis of multi‐degree‐of‐freedom (MDF) structure. However, the procedure of constructing these curves is based on modelling of the entire structure with several single‐degrees‐of‐freedom (SDF) structures and evaluating them through the modal pushover analysis method. An innovative idea for approximating pushover curves that is based on error distribution is introduced in this investigation. Furthermore, the total input energy applied towards the SDF oscillator, which gets converted into MDF structure, is used as intensity measure to impose the different levels of scaled earthquakes. This technique possesses all the advantages of the IDA method in studying the performance of structures in different levels of earthquake. In addition, it benefits from easy usage, high solving speed and less computational CPU time and in attendance with the modified bilinear curves. In this paper, six earthquake records have been applied over four different 4, 8, 12 and 16‐storey structures. The structural responses derived by this method, in the format of multi‐modal incremental curves, containing maximum displacement, drift, hinge rotation and hysteretic energy at the end of the earthquake, have been compared with the IDA method. Comparison of the results is found to have acceptable precision and reveals good agreement between two methods. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

以某大型特高压用钢管格构式变电构架工程为背景,对空间足尺组合式连接节点进行空间静力加载试验和有限元分析,着重研究节点的应力应变及位移发展特征、破坏模式和极限承载性能。试验结果表明:设计荷载下,除主管与节点板连接处的端部由于应力集中而出现轻微局部屈服外,节点其他部位仍处于弹性阶段|加载至设计荷载的近190%时,主管受力较大端出现受压“鼓曲”,主管与节点板1(JDB1)的连接处严重“凹陷”,随即支管⑦的插板与JDB1连接处发生受压“失稳”,节点破坏。有限元模型的分析结果,在节点应变发展、荷载-位移曲线、破坏模式、极限承载力等方面均与试验结果吻合较好。该类型节点的构造基本合理,满足设计荷载要求。建立节点承载力的理论分析模型及计算公式,理论计算结果与试验结果、有限元分析结果吻合较好。  相似文献

针对热塑性长纤维增强复合材料模板体系中连接手柄和手柄连接节点的纯剪试验研究,探讨其破坏机理。实测结果表明:当集中荷载达到临界荷载时,墙体模板的边肋或端肋出现断裂,而连接手柄未发现破坏或明显变形。计算手柄连接节点抗剪承载力时,基于安全宜按铰接考虑。  相似文献

This paper addresses the differences between two approaches of damping estimation in the resonant column testing: Steady-State Vibration (SSV) and Free Vibration Decay (FVD) method, at small (<0.005%) to medium (0.07%) strain range. The tests were conducted on “two types of reconstituted sands” and “two types of clayey soils” at different relative densities and confining pressures. The test results suggested to use the SSV method in small strain damping measurement and the FVD method (two or three successive cycles) in medium strain damping measurement. A systematic decrease in the damping with the increasing number of cycles was observed up to a certain strain level in the FVD method. Furthermore, the effects of relative density, confining pressures, soil types on the damping ratio derived from the two methods for the chosen soils were studied. The results showed that the damping ratio of clayey soils exhibits a little higher value than those of sandy soils.  相似文献

为研究柱靴螺栓连接预制混凝土柱的抗震性能,对4个柱靴螺栓连接预制混凝土柱进行了拟静力试验,并与整浇混凝土柱进行对比,研究其破坏形态、滞回曲线、骨架曲线、位移延性、耗能能力、刚度退化等抗震性能及承载力。此外,还结合相关文献中的试验数据,分析了柱靴与基础连接的转动刚度及接缝承载力。结果表明:柱靴螺栓连接预制柱均发生柱底接缝压弯破坏,且破坏集中在柱靴灌浆区域;轴压比为0.2的柱靴螺栓连接预制柱的底部结合面出现通缝,滞回曲线捏拢严重,其耗能能力较轴压比为0.5柱靴螺栓连接预制柱和相同轴压比整浇柱的差;柱靴螺栓连接预制柱的位移延性系数为3.04~3.79,极限位移角为1/49~1/32,具有较好的位移延性;柱靴与基础连接满足欧盟BS EN 1993-1-8刚性连接性能要求,可按刚性连接设计;对于小偏心受压柱靴螺栓连接预制柱,按JGJ 1—2014计算的正截面承载力与试验值之比平均为0.66,具有较高的安全度,但对于大偏心受压柱靴螺栓连接预制柱,二者之比平均为0.90,安全度偏低。在GB 50010—2010的基础上,引入混凝土极限压应变和抗压强度折减系数,分析了柱底接缝的传力机理,建立了考虑剪切影响的柱底接缝处正截面承载力计算方法。按该方法计算的大偏心受压柱靴螺栓连接预制柱的承载力与试验值之比平均为0.81,与配置高强纵筋整浇柱的平均结果相当。  相似文献
