In this paper, we establish Wang's Harnack inequalities for Gaussian space–time white noises driven the stochastic partial differential equation with double reflecting walls, which is of the infinite dimensional Skorokhod equation. We first establish both the Harnack inequality with power and the log-Harnack inequality for the special case of additive noises by the coupling approach. Then we investigate the log-Harnack inequality for the Markov semigroup associated with the reflected SPDE driven by multiplicative noises using the penalization method and the comparison principle for SPDEs. As their applications, we study the strong Feller property, uniqueness of invariant measures, the entropy-cost inequality, and some other important properties of the transition density.  相似文献

We establish a one-parameter family of Harnack inequalities connecting Li and Yau's differential Harnack inequality for the heat equation to Hamilton's Harnack inequality for the Ricci flow on a 2-dimensional manifold with positive scalar curvature.  相似文献

In the first part of this paper, we get new Li–Yau type gradient estimates for positive solutions of heat equation on Riemannian manifolds with Ricci(M)?−k, kR. As applications, several parabolic Harnack inequalities are obtained and they lead to new estimates on heat kernels of manifolds with Ricci curvature bounded from below. In the second part, we establish a Perelman type Li–Yau–Hamilton differential Harnack inequality for heat kernels on manifolds with Ricci(M)?−k, which generalizes a result of L. Ni (2004, 2006) [20] and [21]. As applications, we obtain new Harnack inequalities and heat kernel estimates on general manifolds. We also obtain various entropy monotonicity formulas for all compact Riemannian manifolds.  相似文献

We establish a one-parameter family of Harnack inequalities connecting the constrained trace Li–Yau differential Harnack inequality for the heat equation to the constrained trace Chow–Hamilton Harnack inequality for the Ricci flow on a 2-dimensional closed manifold with positive scalar curvature, and thereby generalize Chow’s interpolated Harnack inequality (J. Partial Diff. Eqs. 11 (1998), 137–140).  相似文献

Criteria for the super-Poincaré inequality and the weak-Poincaré inequality about ergodic birth-death processes are presented. Our work further completes ten criteria for birth-death processes presented in Table 1.4 (p. 15) of Prof. Mu-Fa Chen's book "Eigenvalues, Inequalities and Ergodic Theory" (Springer, London, 2005). As a byproduct, we conclude that only ergodic birth-death processes on finite state space satisfy the Nash inequality with index 0 ν≤ 2.  相似文献

We develop a semigroup approach to abstract boundary control problems which allows to characterize the space of all approximately reachable states. We then introduce the “maximal reachability space” giving an upper bound for this space. The abstract results are applied to the flow in a network controlled in a single vertex.  相似文献

Harnack inequalities are established for a class of generalized Mehler semigroups, which in particular imply upper bound estimates for the transition density. Moreover, Poincaré and log-Sobolev inequalities are proved in terms of estimates for the square field operators. Furthermore, under a condition, well-known in the Gaussian case, we prove that generalized Mehler semigroups are strong Feller. The results are illustrated by concrete examples. In particular, we show that a generalized Mehler semigroup with an α-stable part is not hyperbounded but exponentially ergodic, and that the log-Sobolev constant obtained by our method in the special Gaussian case can be sharper than the one following from the usual curvature condition. Moreover, a Harnack inequality is established for the generalized Mehler semigroup associated with the Dirichlet heat semigroup on (0,1). We also prove that this semigroup is not hyperbounded.  相似文献

Dimension-independent Harnack inequalities are derived for a class of subordinate semigroups. In particular, for a diffusion satisfying the Bakry-Emery curvature condition, the subordinate semigroup with power α satisfies a dimension-free Harnack inequality provided \(\alpha \in \left(\frac{1}{2},1 \right)\), and it satisfies the log-Harnack inequality for all α?∈?(0, 1). Some infinite-dimensional examples are also presented.  相似文献

We consider stochastic equations in Hilbert spaces with singular drift in the framework of [G. Da Prato, M. Röckner, Singular dissipative stochastic equations in Hilbert spaces, Probab. Theory Related Fields 124 (2) (2002) 261-303]. We prove a Harnack inequality (in the sense of [F.-Y. Wang, Logarithmic Sobolev inequalities on noncompact Riemannian manifolds, Probab. Theory Related Fields 109 (1997) 417-424]) for its transition semigroup and exploit its consequences. In particular, we prove regularizing and ultraboundedness properties of the transition semigroup as well as that the corresponding Kolmogorov operator has at most one infinitesimally invariant measure μ (satisfying some mild integrability conditions). Finally, we prove existence of such a measure μ for noncontinuous drifts.  相似文献

We generalize the Beckner’s type Poincaré inequality (Beckner, W. Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. (1989) 105:397–400) to a large class of probability measures on an abstract Wiener space of the form μ?ν, where μ is the reference Gaussian measure and ν is a probability measure satisfying a certain integrability condition. As the Beckner inequality interpolates between the Poincaré and logarithmic Sobolev inequalities, we utilize a family of products for functions which interpolates between the usual point-wise multiplication and the Wick product. Our approach is based on the positivity of a quadratic form involving Wick powers and integration with respect to those convolution measures. In addition, we prove that in the finite-dimensional case the class of densities of convolutions measures satisfies a point-wise covariance inequality.  相似文献

In this work we give an account of some covariance inequalities in abstract Wiener space. An FKG inequality is obtained with positivity and monotonicity being defined in terms of a given cone in the underlying Cameron-Martin space. The last part is dedicated to convex and log-concave functionals, including a proof of the Gaussian conjecture for a particular class of log-concave Wiener functionals.  相似文献

In this paper, we derive “universal” inequalities for the sums of eigenvalues of the Hodge de Rham Laplacian on Euclidean closed submanifolds and of eigenvalues of the Kohn Laplacian on the Heisenberg group. These inequalities generalize the Levitin–Parnovski inequality obtained for the sums of eigenvalues of the Dirichlet Laplacian of a bounded Euclidean domain.  相似文献

The Harnack inequality established in Röckner and Wang (J Funct Anal 203:237–261, 2003) for generalized Mehler semigroup is improved and generalized. As applications, the log-Harnack inequality, the strong Feller property, the hyper-bounded property, and some heat kernel inequalities are presented for a class of O-U type semigroups with jump. These inequalities and semigroup properties are indeed equivalent, and thus sharp, for the Gaussian case. As an application of the log-Harnack inequality, the HWI inequality is established for the Gaussian case. Perturbations with linear growth are also investigated.  相似文献

By using regularization approximations of the underlying subordinator and a gradient estimate approach, the dimension-independent Harnack inequalities are established for the inhomogeneous semigroup associated with a class of SDEs with Lévy noise containing a subordinate Brownian motion. Our estimates in Harnack type inequalities improve the corresponding ones in the recent paper by Wang and Wang (2014) [10].  相似文献

In this paper, we first show the uniqueness of invariant measures for the stochastic fast diffusion equation, which follows from an obtained new decay estimate. Then we establish the Harnack inequality for the stochastic fast diffusion equation with nonlinear perturbation in the drift and derive the heat kernel estimate and ultrabounded property for the associated transition semigroup. Moreover, the exponential ergodicity and the existence of a spectral gap are also investigated.  相似文献

We introduce new classes of valid inequalities, called wheel inequalities, for the stable set polytopeP G of a graphG. Each “wheel configuration” gives rise to two such inequalities. The simplest wheel configuration is an “odd” subdivisionW of a wheel, and for these we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the wheel inequality to be facet-inducing forP W . Generalizations arise by allowing subdivision paths to intersect, and by replacing the “hub” of the wheel by a clique. The separation problem for these inequalities can be solved in polynomial time. We consider viscosity solutions to nonlinear uniformly parabolic equations in nondivergence form on a Riemannian manifold M with the sectional curvature bounded from below by −κ   for κ≥0κ0. In the elliptic case, Wang and Zhang [24] recently extended the results of [5] to nonlinear elliptic equations in nondivergence form on such M, where they obtained the Harnack inequality for classical solutions. We establish the Harnack inequality for nonnegative viscosity solutions to nonlinear uniformly parabolic equations in nondivergence form on M. The Harnack inequality of nonnegative viscosity solutions to the elliptic equations is also proved.  相似文献

Various Poincaré–Sobolev type inequalities are studied for a reaction–diffusion model of particle systems on Polish spaces. The systems we consider consist of finite particles which are killed or produced at certain rates, while particles in the system move on the Polish space interacting with one another (i.e. diffusion). Thus, the corresponding Dirichlet form, which we call reaction–diffusion Dirichlet form, consists of two parts: the diffusion part induced by certain Markov processes on the product spaces En (n≥1) which determine the motion of particles, and the reaction part induced by a Q-process on ℤ+ and a sequence of reference probability measures, where the Q-process determines the variation of the number of particles and the reference measures describe the locations of newly produced particles. We prove that the validity of Poincaré and weak Poincaré inequalities are essentially due to the pure reaction part, i.e. either of these inequalities holds if and only if it holds for the pure reaction Dirichlet form, or equivalently, for the corresponding Q-process. But under a mild condition, stronger inequalities rely on both parts: the reaction–diffusion Dirichlet form satisfies a super Poincaré inequality (e.g., the log-Sobolev inequality) if and only if so do both the corresponding Q-process and the diffusion part. Explicit estimates of constants in the inequalities are derived. Finally, some specific examples are presented to illustrate the main results. Mathematics Subject Classifications (2000) 4FD0F, 60H10. Some equivalent gradient and Harnack inequalities of a diffusion semigroup are presented for the curvature-dimension condition of the associated generator. As applications, the first eigenvalue, the log-Harnack inequality, the heat kernel estimates, and the HWI inequality are derived by using the curvature-dimension condition. The transportation inequality for diffusion semigroups is also investigated.  相似文献

Using the recession analysis we study necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence and the stability of a finite semi-coercive variational inequality with respect to data perturbation. Some applications of the abstract results in mechanics and in electronic circuits involving devices like ideal diode and practical diode are discussed. The research of S.
