分析了光非归零-差分正交相移键控(NRZ-DQPSK)、33%归零-差分正交相移键控(33%RZ-DQPSK)和载波抑制归零-差分正交相移键控(CSRZ-DQPSK)三种调制格式的频域特性。并数字仿真了40Gbit/s的单信道光纤系统中三种调制格式在对色散(CD)进行后补偿、预补偿和对称补偿等三种补偿方式及考虑偏振模色散(PMD)和非线性效应情况下的传输性能。仿真结果表明,33%RZ-DQPSK对自相位调制(SPM)有最好的容忍度,但缓解PMD和CD的能力较弱;CSRZ-DQPSK在色散后补偿方式中对PMD和非线性效应具有最好的抑制能力。  相似文献

提出一种新的光反转归零码-差分正交相移键控(IRZ-DQPSK)调制方案,该方案所产生的IRZ信号相位连续,易于与相位调制信号相结合,占空比和消光比均可调。并仿真分析了单信道40 Gb/s长距离传输时,自相位调制(SPM)对幅移键控-差分正交相移键控(ASK-DQPSK)与IRZ-DQPSK两种信号的影响。结果表明,40 Gb/s长距离传输时,IRZ-DQPSK具有更好的抗SPM性能。  相似文献

在物理层网络编码系统中,中继节点的转发模式对系统性能有很大的影响,论文研究了放大转发、去噪转发和去噪再编码转发三种转发模式在物理层网络编码系统中的应用。首先给出了正交相移键控(QPSK)时三种转发模式的信号星座图,分析了编码方法的星座图对应关系。其次根据QPSK和正交振幅调制(QAM)的误码率公式,结合联合概率计算推导出了加性高斯白噪声信道环境下系统的误码率公式。最后进行了仿真验证,证明了误码率公式推导的正确性,对三种转发模式的抗噪声性能进行了分析和比较。   相似文献

差分相移键控(DPSK)和差分正交相移键控(DQPSK)对光纤非线性具有很高的容忍度,且灵敏度高,在高速、高频谱效率系统中具有优越性。提出了一种基于双驱动马赫-曾德尔调制器(MZM)的差分正交相移键控归零码(RZ-DQPSK)和差分正交相移键控载波抑制归零码(CSRZ-DQPSK)信号产生的新方法。利用一个双驱动MZM实现DQPSK调制,另一个MZM实现波形切割,生成RZ/CSRZ-DQPSK信号。给出了详细的理论推导过程。该方法简化了高速RZ/CSRZ-DQPSK光信号的产生过程,减少了调制器个数。仿真结果表明,CSRZ-DQPSK信号载波频率分量被抑制,具有比RZ-DQPSK信号更紧凑的频谱结构,采用平衡相干检测接收方法接收到的信号有清晰的眼图。  相似文献

Bandwidth- and power-efficient quadrature carrier modulation techniques are identified, evaluated, and compared. The modulation techniques include quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK), staggered QPSK (SQPSK), and minimum (frequency) shift keying (MSK). High quality QPSK, SQPSK, and MSK transmitters and receivers were used in the evaluation, along with a computer simulation program which modeled the hardware. Both linear and nonlinear channels were included in the comparative investigation. The agreement between simulated and measured results is shown to be excellent. In the comparison of modulation techniques, the effects of channel filtering (band limiting), nonlinearities, detection techniques, and phase equalization are addressed. The application-oriented results are intended to be an aid in selecting modulation and detection implementations, and in predicting the performance of linear and nonlinear communication systems. For systems with imperfections, data are presented for determination of passive detection filters which can outperform "matched" integrate and dump (I&D) filters.  相似文献

We analyze the effectiveness of a 32-state maximum-likelihood sequence-estimation (MLSE) receiver on chromatic dispersion robustness of optical transmission based on several binary modulation formats: intensity modulation direct detection, differential phase-shift keying, and duobinary line coding. Multilevel differential quadrature phase-shift keying modulation is also analyzed using a four-state 2-bit/symbol joint MLSE processor. A novel scheme is proposed to achieve self-pumping wavelength conversion for two differential phase-shift keying (DPSK) signals at different wavelengths through four-wave mixing (FWM) effect in a highly nonlinear optical fiber. By changing the phase modulation depths to pi/2 for both of the DPSK signals, the two signals can be multiplexed to generate a differential quadrature phase-shift keying signal. The bit-error rate (BER) performance of orthogonal space-time block codes (STBCs) in correlated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels is studied. We first derive closed-form exact BER equations for pulse amplitude modulation, quadrature amplitude modulation, and phase-shift keying constellations in a correlated Rayleigh MIMO channel. The BER expressions can be easily evaluated without any numerical methods. Then we consider correlated MIMO channels where the line of sight components exist and they suffer from shadowing, namely, correlated shadowed Rician MIMO channels. We present Walsh-quadrature phase-shift keying (Walsh-QPSK) pseudonoise (PN) modulation schemes for both coherent and noncoherent direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS-CDMA) systems, wherein the PN spreading sequences for in-phase and quadrature data in a conventional QPSK PN modulation scheme are coded by Walsh sequences indexed by a special rule to reduce the envelope variation of the transmitted signal. The signal characteristics of the two schemes are analyzed when a rectangular-shaped PN chip pulse is used, and it is shown that the proposed coherent DS-CDMA system has a constant envelope even in the presence of a transmitted phase reference. We simulate the signals to obtain the envelope variations when a spectrally efficient shaped PN chip pulse is used, and compare the results with those of conventional QPSK and orthogonal QPSK (OQPSK) PN modulation schemes. The results show that both the noncoherent and coherent Walsh-QPSK schemes have smaller envelope variations than the conventional noncoherent QPSK and OQPSK PN modulation schemes, even though in the coherent Walsh-QPSK scheme the pilot channel is added to the signal channel  相似文献

We successfully demonstrated overwriting of differential quadrature phase-shift keying (DQPSK) on inverse return-to-zero (RZ) pulses for simple 3-bit/symbol operation at a 10-Gb/s symbol rate (30-Gb/s bit rate). We adopted cross-gain modulation (XGM) in a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) for inverse-RZ generation, which allows both low and high levels of RZ optical signal to have a finite pulse energy in a bit time slot. We verified a wide tolerance of 20% of the bit-slot for time slot alignment between amplitude-shift keying and differential phase-shift keying modulation in the proposed scheme. We also demonstrated wide dynamic range characteristics at the extinction ratio for both 2- and 3-bit/symbol operation, compared to the conventional scheme. The proposed scheme allows a cross-modulation penalty, due to the intensity to phase modulation, of less than 1.5 dB in 2-bit/symbol and less than 5 dB in 3-bit/symbol operation.  相似文献
