在速率方程和传输方程理论模型的基础上用有限元法和龙格一库塔(RK)算法模拟了共掺Er^2 :Yb^3 的磷酸盐玻璃光波导激光器功率输出特性。理论分析的结果表明用长度较短的重掺杂波导并优化激光器的输出反射镜的反射率时,可以获得较高的功率输出和斜率效率,其抽运阈值也较低。 相似文献

The rare earth Ce3+ ion doped SiO2-B2O3-BaO-Gd2O3 system is synthesized by high-temperature melting method. The density, transmission, excitation spectra and scintillating properties of the glasses are investigated. The results indicate that all the samples have good physical and scintillating properties. The emission peak wavelength of all samples is 390 nm under X-ray radiation. Gd3+ ions have a negative impact on scintillating properties when its concentration reaches a certain level. Gd3+ ions sensitize the luminescence of Ce3+ ions, and the ideal concentration is 15 mol% for Gd3+ ions. Also the decay characteristics of Ce3+ and Gd3+ ions are investigated. An all-fiber based Er^3+ :Yb^3+ co-doped double clad fiber laser operating at 1 550 nm is demonstrated. By using 9 m long Er^3+ : Yb^3+ co-doped fiber(EYDF) as the gain medium, and using a pair of fiber Bragg gratings as wavelength filters, the line-width of the output laser is as narrow as 0.2 nm and the output power is more than 6 mW. The fluorescent effect of the laser before its emission is also studied. And it is found that the Er^3+ : Yb^3+ co-doped double-clad fiber laser also exhibits a high gain for Yb^3+ transition near 1 080 nm. 相似文献

研究了 Cr3+ ,Yb3+ ,Er3+共掺磷酸盐铒玻璃的吸收光谱和荧光光谱性质。通过测定和计算各种 Cr3+ ,Yb3+ ,Er3+ 共掺磷酸盐铒玻璃的光谱参数 ,初步探明了 Ce3+ 和 Cr3+ 离子浓度含量对 Cr3+ ,Yb3+ ,Er3+ 共掺磷酸盐铒玻璃光谱性质的影响。结果表明 ,Ce O2 含量为 2 .8mol- %,Cr2 O3含量为 0 .0 8wt.- %玻璃的光谱性质较好。Ce3+ 离子价态的变化也对玻璃的光谱性质有重要影响。 Ce3+ 离子的存在更有利于对抽运光的吸收和能量的传递。在 Cr3+ ,Yb3+ ,Er3+共掺磷酸盐铒玻璃中实现了 Er3+荧光寿命达 8m s,受激发射截面为 0 .8× 1 0 - 2 0 cm2的光谱特性 ,为今后该玻璃的激光实验提供了重要参数。 相似文献

Single-mode fiber lasers operating at ~1.57 μm are described. Output powers of >2 mW are reported for laser diode pumped operation. Direct comparison is made between fiber lasers using sensitized erbium (Er3+ and Yb3+) and erbium on its own. The performance of Er3+-Yb3+ fiber lasers is analyzed in more detail as a function of fiber length. Both CW and Q-switched operations are studied and the results obtained demonstrate that practical sources at 1.5 μm are available from diode pumped Er3+ -Yb3+ systems 相似文献

In this work, Pr3+ was introduced into Nd3+-doped tellurite glass with composition TeO2-ZnO-Na2O-Nb2O5 to achieve broadband near-infrared emission. A broadband fluorescence emission ranging from 1 250 nm to 1 530 nm was obtained under the excitation of 808 nm LD, which is contributed by the Pr3+:1D2 →1G4 and Nd3+:4F3/2→4I13/2 transitions emitting the fluorescence located at around 1.47 µm and 1.35 µm bands, respectively. The 1.47 µm band fluorescence of Pr3+ is attributed to the energy transfer from Nd3+ to Pr3+ ions and the energy transfer mechanism was further investigated by calculating relevant micro-parameter and phonon contribution ratio. Meanwhile, the studied tellurite glass possesses good thermal stability. The present work indicates that Pr3+/Nd3+ codoped tellurite glass is an excellent gain medium for potential O+E+S-band broad optical amplifiers. 相似文献
