Micro FTIR analysis was performed to the point with a 50–80 μm spatial resolution to verify the exact structure of a new blend thermoplastic powder coating film. Resistance to certain artificially accelerated conditions and actual outdoor exposure were examined to confirm the performance of the film as a protective coating for use in the telecommunication field. The new blend powder coating film consists of primary polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and secondary polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resins, and has a distinct dual phase structure. Specifically, it forms a continuous PVB phase in a surface layer with a thickness of approximately 100–150 μm. Good corrosion resistance was confirmed in artificially accelerated testing using salt water spray, heat cycle, and accelerated UV tests. Actual outdoor exposure in a metropolitan area (Shinkiba in Tokyo) and a coastal area (Miyake Island) revealed good weathering performance throughout the study period. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 用差示扫描量热法(DSC)对固态条件下聚酯/TGIC(triglycidyl isocyanurate)体系的非等温固化反应动力学进行了研究。根据DSC和热重(TG)的分析结果,对聚酯粉末的固化过程及热稳定性进行了探讨,通过温度-升温速率图外推法确定了该体系的凝胶温度、固化温度和后固化温度分别为113、146和195℃。采用Kissinger方程、Doyle-Ozawa方程和Crane方程对DSC数据进行分析,得到了固化反应的平均表观活化能65.71 kJ·mol-1,频率因子8.50×106 min-1、反应级数0.95,建立了该树脂体系的固化动力学模型。讨论了固化反应速率、固化度、固化温度与时间等关系的变化规律及影响因素,为优化铝型材用粉末涂料聚酯体系的固化工艺提供了理论基础。  相似文献

The wear properties of a textured polyester powder coating with pyrogenic silica nanoparticles addition were evaluated. Raw powders of a commercial, textured polyester organic coating were mixed with low amounts of SiO2 nanoparticles (0.5–3 wt%) using ball milling, a simple and economical method. Nanoparticles were mixed into the powder of thermoset organic coating for 10 min in a two-body planetary ball mill. Particle size distribution of the powder was measured to evaluate the milling effect. The coatings were applied and cured in an industrial installation on aluminum substrates. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) images of the coatings were taken to analyze the homogeneity of the organic coating. Roughness, gloss and color were measured in order to evaluate their appearance. The effect of nanoparticles on abrasive and erosion wear performances was measured. Pin-on-disk wear tests were carried out. Erosion measurements were performed with free fall of sand on the samples, a test based on ASTM D968 standard. The results showed that the milling process provides a good distribution of nanoparticles as no agglomerates were found. The addition of 0.5 wt% silica nanoparticles allows for improvement of the wear resistance of the coatings.  相似文献

采用自由基溶液聚合法合成了含有环氧基团且适用于聚酯固化消光粉末涂料的丙烯酸树脂,研究了改变合成树脂中的软、硬单体的比例,引发剂的用量及甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯(GMA)含量对粉末涂料性能的影响。得出合成聚酯固化低光泽粉末涂料丙烯酸树脂的最佳条件,控制合成树脂的玻璃化转变温度65-70℃,引发剂用量1.5%,GMA含量20%,同时,用这种消光树脂制得的粉末涂料涂膜与环氧树脂-MCA型低光泽粉末涂料涂膜进行耐过度烘烤性能的实验比较,发现其具有较好的耐热老化性能。  相似文献

用示差扫描量热法(DSC)在动态条件下对CE2908聚酯/异氰尿酸三缩水甘油酯(TGIC)体系的固化反应动力学进行了研究。运用温度-升温速率图外推法确定了该体系的特征参数∶凝胶温度(T0)、固化温度(Tp)和后固化温度(Tf)分别为113℃、146℃和195℃。采用Kissinger方程和Crane方程计算CE2908聚酯/TGIC酯体系的动力学参数,平均表观活化能Ea为62.32 kJ/mol、频率因子A为8.50×106min-1、反应级数n为0.95。建立了该树脂体系的固化动力学模型。利用所建立的固化动力学方程分别讨论了等温和动态条件下CE2908聚酯/TGIC的固化反应特性,为优化聚酯/TGIC体系粉末涂料固化工艺提供了理论依据,并在生产工艺中验证了其正确性。  相似文献

Properties such as the specular gloss, adhesive strength, viscoelasticity, and impact resistance of thermoplastic polyester powder coating film were studied as a function of air-cooling time. Thermoplastic polyester resin is known for the fact that the heating condition has an effect on the degree of crystallinity. We focused on the relationship between the air-cooling time employed in the film preparation process and the degree of crystallinity. The test pieces were dipped into a fluidized polyester powder vessel, and then cooled in air to form the film. We refer to this cooling time in air as the “air-cooling time”. It was found that the degree of crystallinity increased as the air-cooling time increased. As the degree of crystallinity increased, the specular gloss, adhesive strength, viscosity and impact resistance decreased. We therefore found that the improvement in film performance is related to the reduction in the air-cooling time. The importance of this phenomenon is considered in relation to the widespread use of thermoplastic polyester resin. Similar behavior is expected for other polyester powder coatings.  相似文献

There have been many attempts to improve weather durability in polyester powder coatings. However, no effective suggestion improves weather durability without sacrificing other properties, such as mechanical properties. A novel polyester powder coating system is described in this article, with especially excellent weather durability. This system was based on an acrylic/polyester hybrid curing system composed of polyester resin showing excellent weather durability and the new GMA-acrylic hardener which has a ‘soft segment' in its structure. The advanced acrylic/polyester hybrid curing system shows both excellent weather durability and good mechanical properties.  相似文献

利用金红石型纳米TiO2优异的紫外线屏蔽性能,制备了金红石型纳米TiO2改性抗老化聚酯/TGIC粉末涂料,相比未改性配方和有机紫外吸收剂改性配方,涂膜柔韧性和抗冲击性能等物理机械性能得到显著提高,通过192h人工紫外加速老化后对比发现,纳米TiO2改性粉末涂料的抗紫外光老化性能得到大幅提高,光泽度保持率在50%以上,比未改性配方提高4倍。  相似文献

在微波辅助下,采用新戊二醇(NPG)对废弃聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)进行多元醇解,产物经酯化后,制备了能用于聚酯-环氧粉末涂料的聚酯树脂。通过研究各主要因素对醇解反应和酯化反应的影响,实现了反应条件的最优化组合。同时研究了酯化过程中引入的均苯四酸二酐的作用。  相似文献
