THE NONCONFORMING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR SIGNORINI PROBLEM   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We present the Crouzeix-Raviart linear nonconforming finite element approximation of the variational inequality resulting from Signorini problem. We show if the displacement field is of H2 regularity, then the convergence rate can be improved from O(h3/4) to quasi-optimal O(h|log h|1/4) with respect to the energy norm as that of the continuous linear finite element approximation. If stronger but reasonable regularity is available, the convergence rate can be improved to the optimal O(h) as expected by the linear approximation.  相似文献

Recently Brutman and Passow considered Newman-type rational interpolation to |x| induced by arbitrary set of symmetric nodes in [-1,1] and gave the general estimation of the approximation error.By their methods one could establish the exact order of approximation for some special nodes. In the present paper we consider the special case where the interpolation nodes are the zeros of the Chebyshev polynomial of the second kind and prove that in this case the exact order of approximation is O(1/n|nn)  相似文献

In this paper we construct a new operator Hn,r(N,B) (f; z) by means of the partial sums S(N,S) (f; z) of Neumann-Bessel series. The operator converges uniformly to any fixed continuous function f(z) on the unit circle | z |= 1 and has the best approximation order for f(z) on | z |= 1.  相似文献

The study of zeros of orthogonal functions is an important topic. In this paper, by improving the middle variable x(t), we've got a new form of asymptotic approximation, completed with error bounds, it is constructed for the Jacobi functions φu^(α,β)(t)(α 〉 -1) as μ→∞. We study the exponential sums involving l:burmr coeffcients ot Maass forms and exponential functions of the form e(anZ), where 0 ≠ α∈R and 0 〈 β 〈 1. An asymptotic formula is proved for the nonlinear exponential sum ∑x〈n≤2x λg(n)e(αnβ), when β = 1/2 and |α| is close to 2√ q C Z+, where Ag(n) is the normalized n-th Fourier coefficient of a Maass cusp form for SL2 (Z). The similar natures of the divisor function 7(n) and the representation function r(n) in the circle problem in nonlinear exponential sums of the above type are also studied.  相似文献

Main aim of this article is to study the relation between solutions to the above Cauchy problem and those to the Riemann problem of the following nonlinear conservation law It is well known that if u_ 〈 u+, the above Riemann problem admits a unique global entropy solution u^R(x/t) u^R(x/t)={u_,(f′)^-1(x/t),u+, x≤f′(u_)t, f′(u_)t≤x≤f′(u+)t, x≥f′(u+)t. Let U(t, x) be the smooth approximation of the rarefaction wave profile constructed similar to that of [21, 22, 23], we show that if u0(x) - U(0,x) ∈ H^1(R) and u_ 〈 u+, the above Cauchy problem (E) and (I) admits a unique global classical solution u(t, x) which tends to the rarefaction wave u^R(x/t) as → +∞ in the maximum norm. This problem is studied in connection with the following quasilinear eigenvalue problem with Dirichlet boundary condition -div(ρ(| ψ|^2) ψ)=λ1ρ(|ψ|^2)ψ=λ1ρ(|ψ|^2)ψ,x∈Ω.Indeed, we establish the existence of solutions for the above Schrodinger equation when A belongs to a certain neighborhood of the first eigenvahie λ1 of this eigenvalue problem. The main feature of this paper is that the nonlinearity ω|ψ|^2 is unbounded around the origin and also the presence of the second order nonlinear term. Our analysis shows the importance of the role played by the parameter A combined with the nonlinear nonhomogeneous term div (ρ(| ψ|^2) ψ) which leads us to treat this prob- lem in an appropriate Orlicz space. The proofs are based on various techniques related to variational methods and implicit function theorem.  相似文献

In this paper, the differential equation involving iterates of the unknown function,

with a complex parameter a, is investigated in the complex field C for the existence of analytic solutions. First of all, we discuss the existence and the continuous dependence on the parameter a of analytic solution for the above equation, by making use of Banach fixed point theorem. Then, as well as in many previous works, we reduce the equation with the SchrSder transformation x(z) = y(αy^-1(z)) to the following another functional differential equation without iteration of the unknown function
αy'(αz)=[a^2-y^2(αz)]y'(z)y(α^mz),
which is called an auxiliary equation. By constructing local invertible analytic solutions of the auxiliary equation, analytic solutions of the form y(αy^-1 (z)) for the original iterative differential equation are obtained. We discuss not only these α given in SchrSder transformation in the hyperbolic case 0 〈 |α| 〈 1 and resonance, i.e., at a root of the unity, but also those α near resonance (i.e., near a root of the unity) under Brjuno condition. Finally, we introduce explicit analytic solutions for the original iterative differential equation by means of a recurrent formula, and give some particular solutions in the form of power functions when a = 0.  相似文献
