多输入多输出技术(MIMO)与正交频分复用技术(OFDM)相结合,可以提高无线通信系统在选择性衰落信道中的传输性能,满足新一代移动通信系统的要求。利用超正交空时网格编码(SOSTTC)结构,结合OFDM的优势,构建了一个SOSTTC-OFDM系统,进行了SOSTTC-OFDM系统的仿真实验。通过仿真证明了SOSTTC-OFDM系统具有很好的抗衰落性能,并且采用SOSTTC可以使系统获得更好的分集增益和编码增益。 相似文献

A new bandwidth and power efficient signaling scheme is proposed that achieves high data rates over wideband radio channels exploiting the bandwidth efficient OFDM modulation, multiple transmit and receive antennas and large frequency selectivity offered in typical low mobility indoor environments. Owing to its maximum transmit diversity gain and large coding gain, space-frequency-time turbo coded modulation strongly outperforms other space-frequency-time coding schemes proposed in literature. A simple way of combining space-frequency-time coding with OFDM delay diversity for cost effective exploitation of more than two transmit antennas is also proposed in this paper 相似文献

Distributed space-time coding is a mean of achieving diversity through cooperative communication in a wireless relay network. In this paper, we consider a transmission protocol that follows a two-stage model: transmission from source to relays in the first stage, followed by a simple relaying technique from relays to destination. The relays transmit a vector which is a transformation of the received vector by a relay-specific unitary transformation. We assume that the relays do not have any channel information, while the destination has only a partial-channel knowledge, by which we mean that destination knows only the relay-to-destination channel. For such a setup, we derive a Chernoff bound on the pairwise error probability and propose code design criteria. A second contribution is the differential encoding and decoding scheme for this setup, which is different from the existing ones. Furthermore, differential codes from cyclic division algebra are proposed that achieve full diversity. For our setup with two relays, a Generalized PSK code is shown to achieve full diversity, for which the decoding complexity is independent of code size 相似文献

The differential space-time block code is well-known to provide full spatial diversity and allows simple differential detection. Recent results have shown performance degradation when the channel is time-varying. The letter shows the effect on error performance of spatial correlation between transmit antennas. A generalized receiver which exploits spatial correlation information, is proposed and shown to outperform an existing receiver in terms of frame error rate for slowly varying channels with moderate to high spatial correlation. 相似文献

MIMO technology proposed in recent years can effectively combat the multipath fading of wireless channel and can considerably enlarge the channel capacity, which has been investigated widely by researchers. However, its performance analysis over correlated block-fading Rayleigh channel is still an open and challenging objective. In this article, an analytic expression of bit error rate (BER) is presented for multiple phase shift keying (MPSK) space-time code, with differential detection over correlated block-fading Rayleigh channel. Through theoretical analysis of BER, it can be found that the differential space-time scheme without the need for channel state information (CSI) at receiver achieves distinct performance gain compared with the traditional nonspace-time system. And then, the system simulation is complimented to verify the above result, showing that the diversity system based on the differential space-time block coding (DSTBC) outperforms the traditional nonspacetime system with diversity gain in terms of BER. Furthermore, the numerical results also demonstrate that the error floor of the differential space-time system is much lower than that of the differential nonspace-time system. 相似文献

Slot synchronization is the most challenging step for rapid cell search in intercell asynchronous code division multiple access systems such as wide-band code division multiple access (WCDMA). For rapid cell search, it is desirable to design the receiver robust to initial frequency offset and Doppler spread. In this letter, we consider combining schemes for rapid slot synchronization of WCDMA signals in such channel impairments. We propose an inner-slot differential combining scheme that exploits partial correlation of slot synchronization code, making the receiver tolerable to a large amount of initial frequency offset and Doppler spread. Unlike conventional differential combining schemes, the proposed scheme is also applicable to the use of transmit antenna diversity. The detection performance of the proposed combining scheme is analyzed with the use of transmit antenna diversity. Finally, the analytic results are verified by computer simulation. 相似文献

该文提出了一种基于信道编码和分布式空时分组码级联下的两用户协作分集方案,并且在准静态的瑞利衰落信道下对此方案的系统容量,中断概率以及误比特率进行了理论推导和系统仿真,分别给出了解析表达式和数值结果。通过将信道编码和空时码引入到协作分集中,系统容量得到显著改善,同时中断概率也明显降低。在协作用户间信道存在噪声的情况下,对卷积码与分布式空时分组码级联下的发射方案进行了性能分析和仿真。仿真结果表明:即使协作用户间的信道存在噪声,该文所提方案在各方面都优于传统协作分集,系统容量明显增大,中断概率及误比特率大大降低。 相似文献

传统协同分集通过使网络中各单天线用户共享彼此天线,形成虚拟多天线阵列来实现空间分集,使得体积和功耗受限的网络终端也能获得分集增益,然而这并没有将信道编码和空时编码结合起来以使系统得到编码增益。为了能够获得编码增益来进一步改善系统性能,本文提出了一种基于信道编码和分布式空时分组码级联方式下的两用户协同分集方案,并且在准静态的瑞利衰落信道下对系统误码性能进行了理论推导和系统仿真,给出了误比特率的上限解析表达式。在协同用户间信道存在噪声的情况下,我们分别对CRC-DSTBC和CC-DSTBC级联下的发射方案进行了性能分析和系统仿真。仿真结果表明:即使协同用户间的信道存在噪声,本文所提出的协同分集方案与传统协同分集相比,不但获得了分集增益,同时也得到了编码增益,系统误比特率大大降低,从而显著提高了系统性能,并且这也和理论分析相吻合。 相似文献

For pt. I see ibid., vol.45, no.6, p.563-572, 1997. We study coded modulation with block differential detection in an arbitrarily correlated Rician fading channel with space diversity. Coded differential q-PSK is included in our analysis as a special case. A metric is chosen that is optimum for perfect interleaving, slow fading, and independent diversity branches. For slow fading, we compare the the cutoff rates of the channels resulting from different choices of block length N and diversity index M. Specifically, we show that block detection with diversity may or may not generate a better coding channel than usual differential detection, according to the code selected and the combination of values of M and N. In particular, for low-diversity orders (M=1,2) and for low-to-medium code rates, differential detection is still an optimal or near-optimal solution, while for high-diversity orders (M⩾2) and medium-to-high code rates (up to uncoded modulation) block detection with N>2 can provide a significant gain. An error floor always exists when fading is fast. It decreases exponentially with the product of code diversity and space diversity, so that the latter emerges as a very effective technique for lowering the error floor of a system affected by fast fading.
