The chaotic classical single-particle motion in an oblate octupole deformed potential with a non-zero z-component of angular momentum Lz is investigated. The theory of center-surround interaction in non-classical receptive field can be applied in night vision information processing. In this work, an optimized compound receptive field modulation method is proposed to extract salient contour from complex natural scene in low-light-level (LLL) and infrared images. The kernel idea is that multi-feature analysis can recognize the inhomogeneity in modulatory coverage more accurately and that center and surround with the grouping structure satisfying Gestalt rule deserves high connection-probability. Computationally, a multi-feature contrast weighted inhibition model is presented to suppress background and lower mutual inhibition among contour elements; a fuzzy connection facilitation model is proposed to achieve the enhancement of contour response, the connection of discontinuous contour and the further elimination of randomly distributed noise and texture; a multi-scale iterative attention method is designed to accomplish dynamic modulation process and extract contours of targets in multi-size. This work provides a series of biologically motivated computational visual models with high-performance for contour detection from cluttered scene in night vision images.  相似文献

The complex wave number plane equips us with an elegant mathematical construct which can be used to display and classify the different types of states which arise from solution of the time-independent Schrödinger equation for a quantum mechanical potential. The complex wave number plane is also useful for tracking the trajectories of these solutions as the potential is perturbed in some way, often resulting in profound dynamical structure. In this work we propose an alternative coordinate system, which we call the potentiodynamic plane, which has the useful property that the trajectories stay bounded, and apply this to the square well/barrier potential to reveal some new insights.  相似文献

The century-long debate on the momentum of light in a medium involves two rival forms of momentum, namely those of Abraham and Minkowksi. In this Letter, we analyze this dilemma from the view of the quantum theory of light, the result of which can be easily extended to the classical level. It is found that the Abraham momentum of one polariton mode in linear and dispersive dielectrics differs from its Minkowski momentum, by a considerable factor. However, after taking all branches into consideration, we find the two lead to the same end, which unifies the two rival forms of momentum. The sum rule is traditional, but our conclusion provides a new perspective on the Abraham-Minkowski dilemma, and is consistent with existing experiments including a recent measurement of recoil momentum of atoms using an atom interferometer with Bose-Einstein Condensates [G. K. Campbell et al. Phys. Rev. Lett. 94, 170403 (2005).], the Cerenkov effect, the Doppler effect and the phase matching conditions in nonlinear optical processes.  相似文献

Quantitative explanation for the odd-even effect on fragment angular momenta in the low-energy fission of actinides have been provided by taking into account the single particle spin of the odd proton at the fragment’s scission point deformation in the case of odd-Z fragments along with the contribution from the population of angular momentum bearing collective vibrations of the fissioning nucleus at scission point. The calculated fragment angular momenta have been found to be in very good agreement with the experimental data for fragments in the mass number region of 130–140. The odd-even effect observed in the fragment angular momenta in the low-energy fission of actinides has been explained quantitatively for the first time.   相似文献

A new functionality of ABAQUS/Standard, which allows for a nonlinear analysis prior to a complex eigenvalue extraction in order to study the stability of brake systems, is used to analyse disc brake squeal. An attempt is made to investigate the effects of system parameters, such as the hydraulic pressure, the rotational velocity of the disc, the friction coefficient of the contact interactions between the pads and the disc, the stiffness of the disc, and the stiffness of the back plates of the pads, on the disc squeal. The simulation results show that significant pad bending vibration may be responsible for the disc brake squeal. The squeal can be reduced by decreasing the friction coefficient, increasing the stiffness of the disc, using damping material on the back plates of the pads, and modifying the shape of the brake pads.  相似文献

The long-standing resolution of the Abraham–Minkowski electromagnetic momentum controversy is predicated on a decomposition of the total momentum of a closed continuum electrodynamic system into separate field and matter components. Using a microscopic model of a simple linear dielectric, we derive Lagrangian equations of motion for the electric dipoles and show that the dielectric can be treated as a collection of stationary simple harmonic oscillators that are driven by the electric field and produce a polarization field in response. The macroscopic energy and momentum are defined in terms of the electric, magnetic, and polarization fields that travel through the dielectric together as a pulse of electromagnetic radiation. We conclude that both the macroscopic total energy and the macroscopic total momentum are entirely electromagnetic in nature for a simple linear dielectric in the absence of significant reflections.  相似文献

This study extends the use of holographic interferometry to measure the nanoscale out-of-plane displacement with high surface resolution. It is noted that if the deformation is less than half of the optical wavelength, it is hard to find an obvious fringe pattern. Under such a situation, in general, the phase shift method is used. However, it needs to take more than 3 images for phase shifting and phase reconstruction In this paper, a more simple hybrid method of gray-level and holographic interferometry is used to extract fringe skeletons, in which it just needs to take one or two images for the normal deformation measurement directly, even if there exists no obvious fringe pattern. The displacement field with high surface resolution can also be obtained. The proposed method yielded a theoretical precision of 0.15 nm for out-of-plane displacement with a monochromatic CCD camera of 10-bit gray scale (1024 gray scales) sensitivity and microscale surface resolution for millimeter scale object with 640×480 pixels image resolution by an He–Ne LASER (632.8 nm wavelength) light source. The gray-level method is proposed to calculate the non-obvious interferometry fringe by traditional holographic interferometry hologram, and the result showed that this method works for this purpose.  相似文献

硼是一种生命体必需的微量元素,但过量的硼对人体以及动植物有害。建立一种高灵敏度,高选择性以及简便的硼检测方法,对于环境和人类健康都具有很重要的意义。本研究的目的是建立一种简便,灵敏,选择性测定硼的金纳米棒等离子体共振瑞利散射能量转移光谱新方法。直径为12 nm, 长度为37 nm的金纳米棒采用种子生长法制备。在pH 5.6的NH4Ac-HAc的缓冲溶液中和甲亚胺-H存在下,金纳米棒在404 nm处产生较强的共振瑞利散射峰。当体系中存在硼酸时,硼酸与甲亚胺-H形成硼酸-甲亚胺-H配合物。作为散射受体的配合物与散射共振能量转移的给体纳金米棒靠近时,发生瑞利散射共振能量转移,导致瑞利散射信号猝灭。随着硼酸浓度的增加,形成的配合物增加,金纳米棒转移给黄色配合物的散射光能量增大,导致体系404 nm处的瑞利散射强度线性降低。其降低值ΔI404 nm与硼的浓度在10~750 ng·mL-1范围内呈良好的线性关系。考察了共存物质对该法测定2.3×10-7 mol·L-1 B的干扰情况。结果表明该法具有较高的选择性,即4×10-4 mol·L-1的Mn2+,Cd2+,Zn2+,Bi3+,Na+,Al3+,葡萄糖,Hg2+,IO-3,F-,SO2-4,SiO2-3,NO-3,ClO-4,过氧化氢等对硼的测定无干扰。据此建立了一个灵敏度高,选择性好,简便快速检测硼的瑞利散射共振能量转移新方法。  相似文献

We reexamine the Parisi–Klauder conjecture for complex eiθ/2?4eiθ/2?4 measures with a Wick rotation angle 0≤θ/2≤π/20θ/2π/2 interpolating between Euclidean signature and Lorentzian signature. Our main result is that the asymptotics for short stochastic times tt encapsulates information also about the equilibrium aspects. The moments evaluated with the complex measure and with the real measure defined by the stochastic Langevin equation have the same t→0t0 asymptotic expansion which is shown to be Borel summable. The Borel transform correctly reproduces the time dependent moments of the complex measure for all tt, including their t→∞t equilibrium values. On the other hand the results of a direct numerical simulation of the Langevin moments are found to disagree from the ‘correct’ result for tt larger than a finite tctc. The breakdown time tctc increases powerlike for decreasing strength of the noise’s imaginary part but cannot be excluded to be finite for purely real noise. To ascertain the discrepancy we also compute the real equilibrium distribution for complex noise explicitly and verify that its moments differ from those obtained with the complex measure.  相似文献

Adopting the bonded interface technique for wear experiments under vacuum, this paper reports the nature of the localised shear bands that appear at the different deformation zones of the subsurface of aluminium under different sliding conditions. The plastic deformations are mapped under both low load/low sliding velocities as well as high load and high sliding velocities. A monotonic change in local plastic strain as a function of depth at low sliding velocities give way to a discontinuity separating two different zones with differing plastic behaviour for high sliding speed wear test. Besides shear bands, bonded interface also reveals the presence of kinks particularly in the samples subjected to wear test with high sliding velocities. A molecular dynamic simulation of the wear process successfully replicated the experimental observation, thus allowing us to discuss the mechanism of subsurface deformation during the wear process in the absence of any significant oxide layer for aluminium under sliding condition.  相似文献
