Hyperbolic Mapping Classes and Their Lifts on the Bers Fiber Space

Let S be a Riemann surface with genus p and n punctures. Assume that 3p - 3 n ＞ 0 and n ≥ 1. Let a be a puncture of S and let (～S) = S ∪ {a}. Then all mapping classes in the mapping class group Mods that fixes the puncture a can be projected to mapping classes of Mod(～S) under the forgetful map. In this paper the author studies the mapping classes in Mods that can be projected to a given hyperbolic mapping class in Mod(～S).     

Non-Strebel points and variability sets

This paper studies the subset of the non-Strebel points in the universal Teichmuller space T. Let Z0 ∈ △be a fixed point. Then we prove that for every non-Strebel point h, there is a holomorphic curve γ : [0, 1]→ T with h as its initial point satisfying the following conditions.(1) The curve γ is on a sphere centered at the base-point of T, i.e. dT(id, γ(t)) = dT(id, h), (t ∈ [0, 1]).(2) For every t ∈ (0,1], the variability set Vγ(t)[Z0] of γ(t) has non-empty interior, i.e. Vγ(t) [Z0] ≠ .     

关于Teichmüller极值的等价性

分别记T(Δ)与B(Δ)为单位圆盘Δ上的Teichmüller空间与无限小Teichmüller空间.证明了|v|B(Δ)是无限小Strebel点并不能说明|v|T(Δ)是一个Strebel点以及|v|T(Δ)是Strebel点并不能说明|v|B(Δ)是一个无限小Strebel点.作为这个结论的应用,解决了姚国武提出的问题.     

渐近Teichmüller空间的不唯一性

设AT(△)是单位圆盘△上所有渐近Teichmüller等价类[[μ]]或[[f~μ]]构成的渐近Teichmüller空间.本文证明了对AT(△)内的任意渐近极值的f~μ,总存在一个[[f~μ]]内的渐近极值映射g~v,使边界伸缩商h~*(μ_(fog)~(-1)(g(z)))≠0.同时也获得了AT(△)在基点处的切空间上的类似结果.

主要研究Teichmüller空间上一些重要的纤维空间,包括Bers纤维空间和Teichmüller曲线．证明“穿孔”Teichmüller曲线之间的一个同构定理,并研究这些纤维空间之间的双全纯同构．

关于Teichmüller映射初始二次微分的计算机算法

利用Marden和Strebel关于高度映射的结果,伍胜健设计了Teichmüller映射初始二次微分的迭代算法,由此给出了关于Teichmüller映射初始二次微分计算的理论结果,利用该结果并结合Gortler,Thurston和Palmer关于离散二次微分的研究,本文设计了初始二次微分的计算机算法.     

一类曲面映射类的分解

设S为至少有一个穿孔点α的Riemann曲面.对于曲线α■S,可以定义关于α■S的Dehn twist t_α.设H是S的映射类群的子群,H中的元素保持α不动,并且投影为S=S∪{α}上平凡的映射类变换.定义t_α是关于α■S的Dehn twist.本文考虑关于X(S上的映射类变换)的方程(t_α■θ)~n■X=圮,其中θ∈H是任意给定的.由于(t_αoθ)~n和t_α~n都投影为关于简单闭曲线■的Dehn twist t_■.所以上述方程在H中的解是存在的.对充分大的n,我们给出上述方程有形如X=θ~(n)的解的充要条件.此外,对任给的θ∈H,刻画了子空间H′■H,这里方程的解X=X_n最终要属于H′.最后,考虑简单映射类变换的某些复合映射,并给出了相应的刻画:它们在沿S上的某些简单曲线做剖分后所得的穿孔pant上是不可约的.     

Strebel点

无限型Riemann曲面X上的一个Beltrami系数μ确定了Teichmüller空间T（X）中的一个点[μ]T,同时也确定了T（X）在基点处的切空间中的一个点[μ]B.本文讨论[μ]T是一个Strebel点和[μ]B是一个无穷小Strebel点的等价性问题.

A Sufficient Condition for Rigidity in Extremality of Teichmuller Equivalence Classes by Schwarzian Derivative

The Strebel point is a TeichmOller equivalence class in the Teichmuller space that has a certain rigidity in the extremality of the maximal dilatation. In this paper, we give a sufficient condition in terms of the Schwarzian derivative for a Teichmuller equivalence class of the universal Teichmuller space under which the class is a Strebel point. As an application, we construct a Teichmuller equivalence class that is a Strebel point and that is not an asymptotically conformal class.

Integrably asymptotic affine homeomorphisms of the circle and Teichmüller spaces

A quasisymmetric homeomorphism of the unit circle S1 is called integrably asymptotic affine if it admits a quasiconformal extension into the unit disk so that its complex dilatation is square integrable in the Poincar metric on the unit disk. Let QS*(S1) be the space of such maps. Here we give some characterizations and properties of maps in QS(S1). We also show that QS*(S1)/M(O)b(S1) is the completion of Diff(S1)/M(O)b(S1) in the Weil-Petersson metric.
