本文里我们利用矩阵表示法计算了具有Z_(2~-)对称性时非线性动力系统的高阶规范形,求出了余维2退化和余维3退化情况下相应规范形的普适开折。最后利用所得到的规范形和普适开折讨论了非线性动力系统的余维3退化分叉。  相似文献

引入不可分偶数维不变流形的概念来定义非线性模态.在此基础上,揭示出了一种新的模态——耦合非线性模态,并对实际系统中各种可能的模态进行了分类.这种分类可能是新的构筑非线性模态理论的框架.用此方法构造非线性模态,得到的模态振子具有范式的形式,形式最简、却能反映原系统在平衡点附近的主要动力学行为,且易于得到非线性频率及非线性稳定性等方面的信息.不仅适用于分析一般的多自由度系统,还可用于分析奇数维系统;不仅可构造内共振系统的非耦合模态,还可用于构造内共振耦合模态.从掌握的资料看,以前的方法还不能解决上述所有问题  相似文献

In this paper the nonlinear response of a base-excited slender beam carrying an attached mass is investigated with 1:3:9 internal resonances for principal and combinationparametric resonances. Here the method of normal forms is used to reduce the second order nonlinear temporal differential equation of motion of the system to a set offirst order nonlinear differential equations which are used to find the fixed-point, periodic, quasi-periodic and chaotic responses of the system.Stability and bifurcation analysis of the responses are carried out and bifurcation sets are plotted. Many chaotic phenomena are reported in this paper.  相似文献

Perturbation methods are routinely used in all fields of applied mathematics where analytical solutions for nonlinear dynamical systems are searched. Among them, normal form theory provides a reliable method for systematically simplifying dynamical systems via nonlinear change of coordinates, and is also used in a mechanical context to define Nonlinear Normal Modes (NNMs). The main recognized drawback of perturbation methods is the absence of a criterion establishing their range of validity in terms of amplitude. In this paper, we propose a method to obtain upper bounds for amplitudes of changes of variables in normal form transformations. The criterion is tested on simple mechanical systems with one and two degrees-of-freedom, and for complex as well as real normal form. Its behavior with increasing order in the normal transform is established, and comparisons are drawn between exact solutions and normal form computations for increasing levels of amplitudes. The results clearly establish that the criterion gives an upper bound for validity limit of normal transforms.  相似文献

In this paper, a perturbation method based on multiple scales is used forcomputing the normal forms of nonlinear dynamical systems. The approach,without the application of center manifold theory, can be used to systematicallyfind the explicit normal form of a system described by a general n-dimensionaldifferential equation. The attention is focused on the dynamic behaviour ofa system near a critical point characterized by two pairs of purely imaginaryeigenvalues without resonance. The method can be easily formulated and implemented using a computer algebra system. Maple programs have been developedwhich can be `automatically' executed by a user without knowing computeralgebra. Examples chosen from mathematics, electrical circuits, mechanics andchemistry are presented to show the applicability of the technique and theconvenience of using computer algebra.  相似文献

在圆形三向网架非线性动力学基本方程的基础上,用拟壳法给出了圆底扁球面三向网壳的非线性动力学基本方程.在固定边界条件下,引入了异于等厚度壳的无量纲量,对基本方程和边界条件进行无量纲化,通过Galerkin作用得到了一个含二次、三次的非线性动力学方程.为求Melnikov函数,对一类非线性动力系统的自由振动方程进行了求解,得到了此类问题的准确解.在无激励情况下,讨论了稳定性问题.在外激励情况下,通过求Melnikov函数,给出了可能发生混沌运动的条件.通过数字仿真绘出了平面相图,证实了混沌运动的存在.  相似文献

We compare two approaches for determining the normal forms of Hopf bifurcations in retarded nonlinear dynamical systems; namely, the method of multiple scales and a combination of the method of normal forms and the center-manifold theorem. To describe and compare the methods without getting involved in the algebra, we consider three examples: a scalar equation, a single-degree-of-freedom system, and a three-neuron model. The method of multiple scales is directly applied to the retarded differential equations. In contrast, in the second approach, one needs to represent the retarded equations as operator differential equations, decompose the solution space of their linearized form into stable and center subspaces, determine the adjoint of the operator equations, calculate the center manifold, carry out details of the projection using the adjoint of the center subspace, and finally calculate the normal form on the center manifold. We refer to the second approach as center-manifold reduction. Finally, we consider a problem in which the retarded term appears as an acceleration and treat it using the method of multiple scales only. Communicated by G. Rega  相似文献

利用线性黏弹性力学的Boltzmann叠加原理,在考察位移单值性条件的基础上,给出黏弹性环形板非线性动力学分析的初边值问题。通过Galerkin方法和引进新的状态变量,将其化归为四维非线性非自治常微分方程组,从而得到黏弹性环形板的四种临界载荷,同时考察了几何缺陷对黏弹性薄板临界载荷的影响。根据Floquet理论,得出黏弹性形板在周期激励下的线性动力稳定性判据。综合使用非线性动力学中的数值分析方法,研究了参数对黏弹性环形板非线性动力稳定性的影响。  相似文献

Summary Chaotic vibrations of deterministic, geometrically nonlinear, elastic, spherical and conical axially summetric shells, subject to sign-changing transversal load using the variational principle, are analysed. The paper is motivated by an observation that variational equations of the hybrid type are suitableto solve many dynamical problems of the shells theory. It is assumed that the shell material is isotropic, and the Hook's principle holds. Intertial forces in directions tangent to mean shell surface and rotation inertia of a normal shell cross section are neglected. A transition form PDEs to ODEs (the Cauchy problem) is realized through the Ritz procedure. Next, the Cauchy problem is solved using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. Qualitative and quantitative analysis is carried out in the frame of both nonlinear dynamics and quantitative theory of differential equations. New scenarios from harmonic to chaotic dynamics are detected. Various vibration forms development versus control parameters (rise of arc; amplitude and frequency of the exciting force and number of vibrational modes accounted) are illustrated and discussed.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new approach to investigate the nonlinear dynamics in a (3 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation via Wronskian condition with a free function. Firstly, a Wronskian condition involving a free function is introduced for the equation. Secondly, by solving the Wronskian condition, some exact solutions are presented. Thirdly, the dynamical behaviors are analyzed by choosing specific functions in the Wronskian condition. In addition, some exact solutions are graphically illustrated by using Mathematica symbolic computations. The dynamical behaviors include stationary y-breather, line-soliton resonance, line-soliton-like phenomenon, parabola–soliton interaction, cubic–parabola–soliton resonance, kink behavior, and singular waves. These results not only illustrate the merits of the proposed method in deriving new exact solutions but also novel dynamical behaviors in the (3 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation.

Dynamical behaviors of nonlinear viscoelastic thick plates with damage   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Based on the deformation hypothesis of Timoshenko's plates and the Boltzmann's superposition principles for linear viscoelastic materials, the nonlinear equations governing the dynamical behavior of Timoshenko's viscoelastic thick plates with damage are presented. The Galerkin method is applied to simplify the set of equations. The numerical methods in nonlinear dynamics are used to solve the simplified systems. It could be seen that there are plenty of dynamical properties for dynamical systems formed by this kind of viscoelastic thick plate with damage under a transverse harmonic load. The influences of load, geometry and material parameters on the dynamical behavior of the nonlinear system are investigated in detail. At the same time, the effect of damage on the dynamical behavior of plate is also discussed.  相似文献

We introduce a class of stochastic volatility models whose parameters are modulated by a hidden nonlinear dynamical system. Our aim is to incorporate the impact of economic cycles, or business cycles, into the long-term behavior of volatility dynamics. We develop a discrete-time nonlinear filter for the estimation of the hidden volatility and the nonlinear dynamical system based on return observations. By exploiting the technique of a reference probability measure we derive filters for the hidden volatility and the nonlinear dynamical system.  相似文献

A nonlinear dynamical perspective addresses an area of behavior that tends to be ignored: trial-to-trial variability under seemingly identical conditions. Data exhibiting sequence effects are excellent candidates for a nonlinear dynamical analysis, because of their dependence on previous trial events. When applying nonlinear dynamical tools to behavioral data, the assumptions underlying the tools may require changes in experimental methodology. In this paper, the assumptions of trial timing and their potential impact on nonlinear dynamical analysis are explored. This is done with the intent of initiating a discussion on the appropriate control of trial timing. To examine these issues, each participant's response times on simple two-choice tasks were treated as a time series and submitted along with two comparisons to two nonlinear dynamical measures. Two experimental variables, stimulus rate and stimulus-response mapping, were manipulated in order to examine the issue of controlling trial timing via stimulus rate. Significant differences between the observed and comparison time series were found for estimated dimensionalities(m). Differences in dimensionality(m) estimates were also found between the experimental variables. Of the two methods for controlling stimulus rate, response-stimulus-interval and inter-stimulus-interval, the latter is recommended when applying nonlinear dynamical measures.  相似文献

非线性切换系统具有广泛的工程背景,而传统的非线性理论不能直接用来解决其中的问题,因而成为当前国内外热点和前沿课题之一. 目前相关工作大都是围绕固定时间或单状态切换开展的,而实际工程系统大都属于多状态切换问题,同时多状态切换涉及到更为丰富的动力学行为. 本文基于两广义BVP 振子,通过引入双向切换开关,构建了双状态切换下的非线性动力学模型,进而研究状态切换导致的各种运动模式及其相应的产生机制. 应用非光滑系统的Poincaré映射理论,推导了双状态切换下的Lyapunov 指数的计算公式,结合子系统的分岔分析,得到了切换系统随分岔参数变化的动力学演化过程及其相应的最大Lyapunov 指数的变化情况. 得到了双状态切换条件下系统存在着各种形式的振荡行为,分析了诸如周期突变等现象及通往混沌的倍周期分岔道路,揭示了不同运动模式的产生机制及倍周期序列的本质. 与固定时间切换和单状态切换系统不同,双临界状态切换系统存在着更为丰富的非线性现象,其主要原因在于双状态切换会产生更多的切换点,且切换点的位置更加多变. 同时切换系统的倍周期分岔序列与光滑系统中的倍周期分岔序列不同,切换系统的倍周期分岔序列只对应于切换点数目的成倍增加,而其相应的周期一般不对应于严格的周期倍化过程.   相似文献
