This work presents an adaptive sliding mode control scheme to elucidate the robust chaos suppression control of non-autonomous chaotic systems. The proposed control scheme utilizes extended systems to ensure that continuous control input is obtained in order to avoid chattering phenomenon as frequently in conventional sliding mode control systems. A switching surface is adopted to ensure the relative ease in stabilizing the extended error dynamics in the sliding mode. An adaptive sliding mode controller (ASMC) is then derived to guarantee the occurrence of the sliding motion, even when the chaotic horizontal platform system (HPS) is undergoing parametric uncertainties. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem, control laws are derived. In addition to guaranteeing that uncertain horizontal platform chaotic systems can be stabilized to a steady state, the proposed control scheme ensures asymptotically tracking of any desired trajectory. Furthermore, the numerical simulations verify the accuracy of the proposed control scheme, which is applicable to another chaotic system based on the same design scheme.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the synchronization problem for a class of hyperchaotic chaotic systems. Using sliding mode control approach and backstepping control, a robust control scheme is proposed to make most of the synchronization errors of the systems to zero for matched and unmatched uncertainties. And only one of the synchronization errors of the systems may not be zero, but it is bounded. Meanwhile, the chattering phenomenon is eliminated. The proposed methods can be applied to a variety of chaos systems which can be described by the so-called cross-strict feedback form. Numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed control schemes.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust control system combining backstepping and sliding mode control techniques is used to realize the synchronization of two gap junction coupled chaotic FitzHugh-Nagumo (FHN) neurons in the external electrical stimulation. A backstepping sliding mode approach is applied firstly to compensate the uncertainty which occur in the control system. However, the bound of uncertainty is necessary in the design of the backstepping sliding mode controller. To relax the requirement for the bound of uncertainty, an adaptive backstepping sliding mode controller with a simple adaptive law to adapt the uncertainty in real time is designed. The adaptive backstepping sliding mode control system is robust for time-varying external disturbances. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control scheme.  相似文献

This paper investigates the chaos control problem for a general class of chaotic systems. A feedback controller is established to guarantee asymptotical stability of the chaotic systems based on the sliding mode control theory. A new reaching law is introduced to solve the chattering problem that is produced by traditional sliding mode control. A dynamic compensator is designed to improve the performance of the closed-loop system in sliding mode, and its parameter is obtained from a linear matrix inequality (LMI). Simulation results for the well known Chua’s circuit and Lorenz chaotic system are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper examines the application of a simple feedback controller to eliminate the chaotic behavior in a controlled extended Duffing system. The main idea is to regulate the chaotic motion of an extended Duffing system around less complex attractors, such as equilibrium points and periodic orbits. The proposed feedback controller is composed by a high-pass filter and a saturator, so its implementation is quite simple and can be made on the basis of measured signals. The affectivity of the proposed feedback control strategy is illustrated by means of numerical simulations.  相似文献

The dynamics of a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) is analyzed. The study shows that under certain conditions the PMSM is experiencing chaotic behavior. To control these unwanted chaotic oscillations, a nonlinear controller based on the backstepping nonlinear control theory is designed. The objective of the designed control is to stabilize the output chaotic trajectory by forcing it to the nearest constant solution in the basin of attraction. The result is compared with a nonlinear sliding mode controller. The designed controller that based on backstepping nonlinear control was able to eliminate the chaotic oscillations. Also the study shows that the designed controller is mush better than the sliding mode control.  相似文献

A dynamic strategy is proposed to estimate parameters of chaotic systems. The dynamic estimator of parameters can be used with diverse control functions; for example, those based on: (i) Lie algebra, (ii) backstepping, or (iii) variable feedback structure (sliding-mode). The proposal has adaptive structure because of interaction between dynamic estimation of parameters and a feedback control function. Without lost of generality, a class of dynamical systems with chaotic behavior is considered as benchmark. The proposed scheme is compared with a previous low-parameterized robust adaptive feedback in terms of execution and performance. The comparison is motivated to ask: What is the suitable adaptive scheme to suppress chaos in an specific implementation? Experimental results of proposed scheme are discussed in terms of control execution and performance and are relevant in specific implementations; for example, in order to induce synchrony in complex networks.  相似文献

A robust adaptive sliding control scheme is developed in this study to achieve synchronization for two identical chaotic systems in the presence of uncertain system parameters, external disturbances and nonlinear control inputs. An adaptation algorithm is given based on the Lyapunov stability theory. Using this adaptation technique to estimate the upper-bounds of parameter variation and external disturbance uncertainties, an adaptive sliding mode controller is then constructed without requiring the bounds of parameter and disturbance uncertainties to be known in advance. It is proven that the proposed adaptive sliding mode controller can maintain the existence of sliding mode in finite time in uncertain chaotic systems. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive sliding mode control scheme for Lorenz chaos subject to saturating input. The state of Lorenz system can be asymptotically driven to an equilibrium point in spite of the presence of input saturation and external disturbance using the proposed control scheme. Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of its application to chaotic system control. It also shows that the settling time will be decreased, if the saturation bound of control input is relaxed.  相似文献

A novel self-organizing wavelet cerebellar model articulation controller (CMAC) is proposed. This self-organizing wavelet CMAC (SOWC) can be viewed as a generalization of a self-organizing neural network and of a conventional CMAC, and it has better generalizing, faster learning and faster recall than a self-organizing neural network and a conventional CMAC. The proposed SOWC has the advantages of structure learning and parameter learning simultaneously. The structure learning possesses the ability of on-line generation and elimination of layers to achieve optimal wavelet CMAC structure, and the parameter learning can adjust the interconnection weights of wavelet CMAC to achieve favorable approximation performance. Then a SOWC backstepping (SOWCB) control system is proposed for the nonlinear chaotic systems. This SOWCB control system is composed of a SOWC and a fuzzy compensator. The SOWC is used to mimic an ideal backstepping controller and the fuzzy compensator is designed to dispel the residual of approximation errors between the ideal backstepping controller and the SOWC. Moreover, the parameters of the SAWCB control system are on-line tuned by the derived adaptive laws in the Lyapunov sense, so that the stability of the feedback control system can be guaranteed. Finally, two application examples, a Duffing–Holmes chaotic system and a gyro chaotic system, are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method. The simulation results show that the proposed SAWCB control system can achieve favorable control performance and has better tracking performance than a fuzzy neural network control system and a conventional adaptive CMAC.  相似文献

This paper presents an algorithm for synchronizing two different chaotic systems, using a combination of the extended Kalman filter and the sliding mode controller. It is assumed that the drive chaotic system has a random excitation with a stochastically chaotic behavior. Two different cases are considered in this study. At first it is assumed that all state variables of the drive system are available, i.e. complete state measurement, and a sliding mode controller is designed for synchronization. For the second case, it is assumed that the output of the drive system does not contain the whole state variables of the drive system, and it is also affected by some random noise. By combination of extended Kalman filter and the sliding mode control, a synchronizing control law is proposed. As a case study, the presented algorithm is applied to the Lur’e-Genesio chaotic systems as the drive-response dynamic systems. Simulation results show the good performance of the algorithm in synchronizing the chaotic systems in presence of noisy environment.  相似文献

This paper proposes a robust adaptive sliding mode control strategy for an introduced class of uncertain chaotic systems. Using the sliding mode control technique and based on Lyapunov stability theory, a time varying sliding surface is determined and an adaptive gain of the robust control law will be tuned to stabilize the new chaotic class. Unlike many well-known methods of the sliding mode control, no knowledge on the bound of uncertainty and disturbance is required. Simulation results are demonstrated for several chaotic examples to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive sliding mode control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper a nonlinear delayed feedback control is proposed to control chaos in an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) system. The chaotic behavior of the system is suppressed by stabilizing one of its first-order Unstable Periodic Orbits (UPOs). At first, it is assumed that the system parameters are known, and a nonlinear delayed feedback control is designed to stabilize the UPO of the system. Then, in the presence of model parameter uncertainties, the proposed delayed feedback control law is modified via sliding mode scheme. The effectiveness of the presented methods is numerically investigated by stabilizing the unstable first-order periodic orbit of the AFM system. Simulation results show the high performance of the methods for chaos elimination in AFM systems.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust intelligent sliding model control (RISMC) scheme using an adaptive recurrent cerebellar model articulation controller (RCMAC) is developed for a class of uncertain nonlinear chaotic systems. This RISMC system offers a design approach to drive the state trajectory to track a desired trajectory, and it is comprised of an adaptive RCMAC and a robust controller. The adaptive RCMAC is used to mimic an ideal sliding mode control (SMC) due to unknown system dynamics, and a robust controller is designed to recover the residual approximation error for guaranteeing the stable characteristic. Moreover, the Taylor linearization technique is employed to derive the linearized model of the RCMAC. The all adaptation laws of the RISMC system are derived based on the Lyapunov stability analysis and projection algorithm, so that the stability of the system can be guaranteed. Finally, the proposed RISMC system is applied to control a Van der Pol oscillator, a Genesio chaotic system and a Chua’s chaotic circuit. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is verified by some simulation results with unknown system dynamics and existence of external disturbance. In addition, the advantages of the proposed RISMC are indicated in comparison with a SMC system.  相似文献

In present paper, a feedback linearization control is applied to control a chaotic pendulum system. Tracking the desired periodic orbits such as period-one, period-two, and period-four orbits is efficiently achieved. Due to the presence of saturation in real world control signals, the stability of controller is investigated in presence of saturation and sufficient stability conditions are obtained. At first feedback linearization control law is designed, then to avoid the singularity condition, a saturating constraint is applied to the control signal. The stability conditions are obtained analytically. These conditions must be investigated for each specific case numerically. Simulation results show the effectiveness and robustness of proposed controller. A major advantage of this method is its shorter chaotic transient time in compare to other methods such as OGY and Pyragas controllers.  相似文献

The dynamics of cardiovascular rhythms have been widely studied due to the key aspects of the heart in the physiology of living beings. Cardiac rhythms can be either periodic or chaotic, being respectively related to normal and pathological physiological functioning. In this regard, chaos control methods may be useful to promote the stabilization of unstable periodic orbits using small perturbations. In this article, the extended time-delayed feedback control method is applied to a natural cardiac pacemaker described by a mathematical model. The model consists of a modified Van der Pol equation that reproduces the behavior of this pacemaker. Results show the ability of the chaos control strategy to control the system response performing either the stabilization of unstable periodic orbits or the suppression of chaotic response, avoiding behaviors associated with critical cardiac pathologies.  相似文献

An adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) technique is introduced in this paper for a chaotic dynamical system (Genesio–Tesi system). Using the sliding mode control technique, a sliding surface is determined and the control law is established. An adaptive sliding mode control law is derived to make the states of the Genesio–Tesi system asymptotically track and regulate the desired state. The designed control scheme can control the uncertain chaotic behaviors to a desired state without oscillating very fast and guarantee the property of asymptotical stability. An illustrative simulation result is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive sliding mode control design.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive sliding mode controller for a novel class of fractional-order chaotic systems with uncertainty and external disturbance is proposed to realize chaos control. The bounds of the uncertainty and external disturbance are assumed to be unknown. Appropriate adaptive laws are designed to tackle the uncertainty and external disturbance. In the adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) strategy, fractional-order derivative is introduced to obtain a novel sliding surface. The adaptive sliding mode controller is shown to guarantee asymptotical stability of the considered fractional-order chaotic systems in the presence of uncertainty and external disturbance. Some numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed ASMC scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel second-order fast terminal sliding mode control (SFTSMC) scheme is proposed to suppress the chaotic motion of a micro-mechanical resonator with system uncertainty and external disturbance. To obtain a better disturbance rejection property, a fuzzy logic system is introduced to estimate the upper boundary of the sum of system uncertainty and external disturbance. Moreover, we employ the finite-time technique to obtain the properties of fast response and high precision. Finally, numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献
