The development of a compact broadband microstrip antenna configuration is presented. The system uses a number of parasitic elements which are gas-coupled to a driven patch. The enhancement of bandwidth does not cause deterioration of the radiation pattern of the system.  相似文献

A new microstrip antenna geometry with considerable reduction in size, with similar radiation characteristics to those of an equivalent rectangular patch antenna is proposed. A relationship has been suggested for finding out the resonant frequency of the new geometry, and its validity has been established by the experimental results. Without increasing the aperture area, this geometry also offers a facility for considerably reducing the resonant frequency compared to conventional patches  相似文献

改进了一种印刷单极U型微带超宽带天线.利用Ansoft公司的高频仿真软件HFSS对影响其辐射性能的关键参数进行了仿真计算,通过优化使其尺寸减少到原来的22%,阻抗带宽也展宽了24%,最后给出了天线的反射损耗曲线和辐射方向图.天线的-10dB反射损耗的频率覆盖范围为2.3~11.2GHz.这种天线不仅适用于短距离超宽带无线通信,而且也适合于无线局域网(WLAN)与蓝牙(BT)通信.  相似文献

A new artificial neural-network-based methodology for a microstrip antenna design was studied and presented. The methodology is applicable to DCS, GSM, WLL, WLAN, large band planar antennas, and fractals. In this paper, we present five applications of this methodology, three of which are applicable in the WLL, 802.11a, and 802.11b antenna standards. The two others are broadband designs with 500 MHz and 1 GHZ bandwidth, respectively. All the antennas radiate an end-fire beam, and have compact sizes of 29 mm /spl times/ 25 mm, 10 mm /spl times/ 13.5 mm, 10.3 mm /spl times/ 17.2 mm, 35 mm /spl times/ 25 mm, and 35 mm /spl times/ 25 mm, respectively.  相似文献

介绍了宽频带渐变式微带缝隙天线的工作原理、设计参数及其对电性能的影响,设计了一种结构简单的天线形式,给出了该天线工作于S、C频段的结构尺寸以及VSWR、辐射方向图的仿真和测试数据曲线,两者之间有很好的一致性,并对影响天线性能的关键参数进行了误差计算。结果表明:在加工精度可达到的范围内,对天线性能的影响不大。该天线可应用于宽频带单极化、双极化阵列天线单元或反射面天线馈源。  相似文献

面向Ka频段高通量卫星对天线的需求,设计了一种Ka频段宽带圆极化微带天线.天线单元主要由圆形辐射贴片和缝隙耦合馈电结构组成,通过两个类T形缝隙结合实现宽带圆极化.天线仅有三层金属层,结构简单.仿真结果显示,天线单元的相对阻抗带宽为31.5%(25.1~34.5 GHz),相对3 dB轴比带宽为20.3%(26.5~32.5 GHz).由于单元尺寸较小,不便于对其性能进行验证,因此利用该天线单元组成2×2天线阵列,并进行加工测试.仿真与试验结果表明,天线阵列阻抗带宽以及3 dB轴比带宽可以覆盖25.6~33.1 GHz频率范围,实测结果与仿真结果一致性良好.  相似文献

A modified particle swarm optimization (PSO) variant is implemented on a conventionally optimized broadband antenna. Proposed algorithm uses heterogeneous boundary conditions to particles that fly out of the search space. Search space boundary conditions were chosen depending on which bound was violated. The algorithm is executed using MATLAB for the PSO computations and IE3D. Microstrip antennae inherently suffer from low bandwidth. Thus, a broadband patch antenna is optimized to improve the antenna return loss bandwidth in order to validate the proposed algorithm. For the patch antenna, a significant 12 % bandwidth improvement and 20.84 % size reduction was achieved. It was fabricated and satisfactory conformity was found with simulated results.  相似文献

In this paper the design and development of a compact broadband probe-fed Microstrip patch antenna for bandwidth improvement and antenna size reduction in a single design is proposed. The well-known technique of effective substrate thickness increment is performed to improve the impedance bandwidth, whereas for size reduction the electrical length of the conducting patch has been increased. A compact probe-fed inverted U-shaped microstrip patch antenna with a W-shaped ground plane has been designed and the experimental results are presented.  相似文献

Design of a high gain, small microstrip antenna with circular polarisation (CP) radiation is demonstrated. The small size of the microstrip antenna results from both the high-permittivity superstrate loading and the slits cut in the patch. In addition, the antenna gain is enhanced by setting the superstrate thickness at about one-quarter of the wavelength in the superstrate layer. A typical design with a 30%, decrease in antenna size and a 5.2 dB increase in antenna gain, as compared to the conventional CP design, is presented and analysed  相似文献

Broadband circular polarisation (CP) operation of single-feed slot-coupled microstrip antennas is achieved using an inclined nonlinear coupling slot. This nonlinear slot, end-loaded with two V slots, significantly broadens the CP bandwidth to about 2.1 times that obtained using a simple inclined coupling slot for CP operation. 针对传统八木天线体积过大,难以与其他载体共形,相对带宽很窄的问题,设计了一种宽带微带八木天线。天线采用一种比较简单的馈电方式减小天线的尺寸,利用附加寄生贴片、振子耦合枝节和金属化孔的方式展宽频带和改善天线的阻抗匹配。使用Ansoft公司高频结构仿真器(HFSS)对天线进行仿真设计和优化,并对实物进行测试。最后结果表明,所设计、制作的天线频段在1.81~2.57 GHz内,电压驻波比(VSWR)小于2,相对带宽为31%,在2.4 GHz频率处的增益大于9 dB。仿真和测试结果显示,该宽带微带八木天线基本达到设计要求。  相似文献

A microstrip antenna with broadband circular polarisation (CP) is presented. The proposed microstrip antenna has a circular patch and is excited by a series microstrip-line-feed configuration through the coupling of a ring slot in the ground plane. The broadband operation is achieved by coupling two CP resonant elements, which are due to the circular patch and the ring slot, respectively. A typical prototype using foam material of thickness 5 mm as the antenna substrate is constructed. Measured results show the 3 dB-axial-ratio bandwidth centred at 2500 MHz is more than 10%.  相似文献

The study of the effect of various meandering slots in the rectangular microstrip antenna ground plane for compact broadband operation is presented. The rectangular microstrip antenna is meandered using three different types of ground plane meandering slots: (a) smaller meandering slots, (b) longer meandering slots, and (c) open-end meandering slots, and is studied experimentally and compared. In these meandering slots, the open-end meandering slot is proved to be effective in significantly enhancing the bandwidth of a compact meandered antenna. Using open-end meandering slots in the ground plane, an extreme compactness of 83% with a broad bandwidth of 38.3% is obtained.  相似文献

A new compact microstrip antenna element is analyzed. The analysis can accurately predict the resonant frequency, input impedance, and radiation patterns. The predicted results are compared with experimental results and excellent agreement is observed. A novel compact circular-polarization (CP) operation of the square microstrip antenna with four slits and a pair of truncated corners is proposed and investigated. Experimental results show that the proposed compact CP design can have an antenna-size reduction of about 36% as compared to the conventional corner-truncated square microstrip antenna at a given operating frequency. Also, the required size of the truncated corners for CP operation is much greater than that for the conventional CP design using a simple square microstrip patch, providing a relaxed manufacturing tolerance for the proposed compact CP design. 目前,同时适用于蓝牙、射频识别、全球微波无线互联网和无线局域网这几大主流物联网通信技术标准的多频天线设计较少,为此,提出了一种新的小型化宽频带多频微带天线。该微带天线主要由一个矩形环、一个开口六边形环、三条矩形带以及缺陷地组成,可同时工作在蓝牙、射频识别、全球微波无线互联网和无线局域网的通信频段上。天线谐振频率分别为2.47 GHz、3.48 GHz和5.55 GHz,相应带宽为0.11 GHz(2.38~2.49 GHz)、0.86 GHz(3.19~4.05 GHz)和1.11 GHz(4.95~6.06 GHz),增益最高达到5.75 dBi。实测结果显示,该天线在工作频段具有很好的辐射特性和增益,适用于当前应用的无线通信系统。  相似文献

设计了一种宽频带微带天线.通过在矩形贴片上开槽的方法来实现宽带化的设计,利用电磁仿真软件CST MWS(CST MICROWAVE STUDIO)进行仿真优化,给出了天线的回波损耗和方向图.仿真结果表明,该天线的频带宽度为普通矩形天线的3-4倍,并且具有较高的增益.  相似文献
