An overview of the methods used for the isolation and characterization of organic matter in natural waters is presented. Commonly used techniques for the concentration and isolation of organic matter from water, such as preparative chromatography, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis, and the methods used to analyze the organic matter obtained by these methods are reviewed. the development of methods to obtain organic matter that is associated with fractions of the dissolved organic carbon other than humic substances, such as organic bases, hydrophilic organic acids and colloidal organic matter are discussed. Methods specifically used to study dissolved organic nitrogen and dissolved organic phosphorous are also discussed.  相似文献

水溶性有机质对土壤硝化作用过程的影响   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
以江苏省宿迁市潮土为供试土壤,设置DOC220、DOC440和DOC880 3个添加水溶性有机质(DOM)处理,分别含有机碳(DOC)220、440和880 mg.L-1。试验结果表明,DOM对硝化过程有一定的抑制作用,在培养第16天时,未添加DOM的对照中NH4 -N几乎100%已经转化为NO3--N,而添加DOM的3个处理硝化率分别比对照降低7.83%、13.60%和19.12%;与对照相比,添加DOM的处理中NH4 -N含量降低缓慢,但培养过程中亚硝酸盐的积累显著增加,对照在第12天时NO2--N达到最大积累量67.83 mg.L-1,而DOC220、DOC440和DOC880处理土壤中NO2--N积累量分别在第12、14和16天达到最大值,与对照相比积累量分别增加21.17%、33.91%和59.90%。此外,DOM的添加也降低了NO3--N的生成速率,到第16天时,对照已经达到最大积累量143.61 mg.L-1NO3--N,但此时DOC220、DOC440和DOC880处理中NO3--N含量比对照分别低41.97、78.09和91.30 mg.L-1。为排除因添加DOM带来外源氮所引起的影响,同时进行了相同初始氮量下添加DOM与单施(NH4)2SO4对硝化作用影响的比较试验,结果同样表现出亚硝酸盐积累量的增加和NO3--N生成速率的降低,表明DOM中所含的有机碳及小分子化合物影响了硝化作用。高有机质环境下存在潜在的亚硝酸盐积累风险,对土壤和水体生态系统健康可能有一定影响。  相似文献

Cations in soil are essential for the growth of plants and micro-organisms. Their availability is dependent on soil organic matter. Soil organic matter (SOM) is heterogeneous comprising amino, aliphatic and phenolic acids, but particularly humic substances. All these substances can complex cations selectively. Mechanisms of complexation with dissolved organic matter are discussed. Such complexation can lead to the apparently contradictory observations that dissolved organic matter (DOM) can either increase the concentration of some less soluble nutrients, making them more available for plant uptake, or make them less available and hence less toxic. the importance of DOM is discussed in relation to soil solution, particularly the rhizosphere, and also in relation to aquatic systems. the latter systems contain mainly dissolved humic substances whereas in the soil, non-humic substances assume a greater importance.

SOM in the rhizosphere is derived from plant, microbial and animal remains but much, especially the water-soluble compounds, are acquired through root exudation. Exudation has important consequences for enhanced nutrient availability as a result of the production of non-humic substances such as amino, aliphatic and phenolic acids. in future, the role of root exudation in relation to DOM and nutrient availability should be investigated more fully, particularly as predicted elevated CO2 levels are likely to have a major impact on root exudation, nutrient availability, and possibly ecosystem community structure and functioning. It is likely that more information will become available on aquatic systems as more highly sensitive techniques and equipment capable of dealing with low concentrations of DOM in these systems become available.  相似文献

选取辽河灌区不同肥力水平春玉米(Zea mays ssp. mays L.)农田土壤为研究对象,通过连续3年田间定位试验,采用三维荧光光谱法分析了不同层次土壤溶解性有机质组分含量,研究施肥对不同肥力农田土壤溶解性有机质组分(DOM、DOC、DON、DOP)的影响,分析土壤DOM及其组分的土壤肥力效应。结果表明,施肥使高(产量12.75±0.75 t·hm^-2)、中(产量10.50±0.75 t·hm^-2)、低(产量8.25±0.75 t·hm^-2)产田土壤DOM的∑Fex/em分别增加了2.84%、3.56%和-1.52%,平均增加了1.08%,土壤w(DOC)分别增加了20.43%、16.43%和-29.11%,平均增加了9.36%,土壤w(DOP)分别增加了-22.87%、10.30%和4.15%,平均增加了-3.39%,土壤 w(DON)分别增加了-20.63%、6.97%和-8.41%,平均增加了-7.54%。施肥显著增加中产田土壤中w(DOM),中产田底层(20-40 cm)和高产田表层(0-10 cm)、中层(10-20 cm)土壤w(DOC),中产田中层和低产田表层土壤w(DOP),中产田中层土壤w(DON)。施肥增加了低产田土壤FI值(荧光指数),降低了高产田土壤FI值,施肥增加了高产田土壤HIX(腐殖化指数),降低了中低产田土壤HIX。施肥显著增加中产田土壤DOM组分含量,降低高、低产田土壤DOM组分含量。施肥主要增加10-20 cm土壤DOM组分含量,耗损20-0 cm土壤DOM组分。施肥促进高产田土壤DOM陆源化,低产田土壤DOM生物源化,施肥使中低产田土壤DOM腐殖化程度降低。施肥不仅是土壤DOM的重要来源,同时通过影响微生物及作物根系活力促进土壤DOM的耗损,因农田土壤质地的差异,施肥对土壤DOM的影响不同。DOM荧光强度与产量呈显著正相关,具有土壤肥力指示作用。  相似文献

Dissolved organic matter (DOM) is an important component of plant-soil systems. Its essential role in soil solution chemistry, soil-forming processes and its effects on biota, including soil fauna, bacteria, fungi and plants, is extensively documented in literature. in this contribution several forest leaf litter types are compared as sources of DOM and the released organics are subjected to gel permeation chromatography to reveal their molecular-size distribution. Moreover, complexing properties, as an indication for the podzolization potential of the litter leachates, were established. the occurrence and properties of DOM in different soil horizons were monitored beneath a stand of Scots pine. the effects of the different groups of soluble organics including phenolic, fulvic and humic acids, and of water-extractable humic substances on the performance of herbaceous plants of the forest floor are briefly reviewed.  相似文献

Dissolved nutrients, Chl-a and primary productivity were measured from seven transects along the coastal waters of the southeastern Arabian Sea during northeast monsoon. Ten major estuaries were chosen to study the influence of estuarine discharge on the nutrient dynamics in the coastal waters. The mean water discharge of the estuaries in the north (64.8?±?18?×?105?m3?d?1) was found to be higher than those in the south (30.6?±?21.4?×?105?m3?d?1), whereas the nutrient concentrations were found to be higher in the estuaries of the south. The results from the offshore waters were discussed in accordance with the depth contour classification, that is, shelf (depth?≤?30?m) and slope waters (depth?≥?30?m). Our results suggest that the estuarine discharge plays a major role in the nutrient distribution in near shore shelf waters, whereas in shelf and slope waters, it was mainly controlled by in situ biological processes. The inorganic form of N to P ratios were found to be higher than Redfield ratio in slope waters when compared with shelf waters, suggesting that PO43? (<0.15?µmol?L?1) is a limiting nutrient for primary production. The multivariate statistical analysis revealed that the nutrient dynamics in the coastal waters was controlled by both biological and physical processes.  相似文献

准确获取化合物的生物富集因子(BAF)对于判定化合物是否属于潜在毒害性污染物、评价其生态环境风险都具有重要的意义。为探究水体中溶解有机质(DOM)对BAF值的影响,以东江三角洲流域为研究区域,以多溴联苯醚(PBDEs)为目标化合物,研究了PBDEs各单体在3种鱼体中的富集特征。结果表明,PBDEs在3种鱼体中的浓度范围为42~825 ng·g-1脂肪,log BAF值位于5.0~7.4之间。由于脱溴代谢的种间差异,3种鱼类表现出2种PBDE的组成模式。在缺乏脱溴代谢途径的鱼体内,log BAF与化合物辛醇/水分配系数(log KOW)之间存在统计意义上的抛物线关系。但当BAF进行DOM的校正之后,二者之间抛物线形式的相关性消失,而呈现出显著的正线性相关性。以往研究对BAF值在化合物的log KOW达到一定程度后(7~8附近)出现下降的解释是高KOW化合物较大的分子体积降低了其穿过生物膜的可能性,但我们的研究结果表明,这种下降很可能是由于忽视了水体中DOM影响的结果。  相似文献

溶解态有机氮(DON)是土壤中活跃的氮库,其生态环境行为与它的化学组成和粒径分布密切相关。为评估热带滨海区不同土地利用方式对不同粒径中土壤溶解性有机氮组成特征的影响,从水稻田、橡胶园、菜园和果园采集土壤样品,通过一系列微滤和超滤(0.7,0.45,0.2,0.1μm,100,10,1 kDa)对土壤溶解性有机氮分级,并使用连续流动分析仪、三维荧光光谱和红外光谱研究了滤液中溶解态有机氮、无机氮的含量及荧光组分和有机官能团特征。结果表明,4种土地利用背景下土壤DON值的范围为5.25-10.88 mg·kg^-1,其大小顺序为水稻>菜园>果树>橡胶,且DON与溶解性总氮(DTN)的比值范围为26.08%-67.11%,其中橡胶土最高,水稻土最低;不同粒径下4种土地利用类型土壤DON主要集中在<100 kDa的粒径中,其值范围为4.85-9.48 mg·kg^-1,占全量的85.89%-92.41%。三维荧光光谱(3D-EEMs)及平行因子分析表明,4种土地利用背景下土壤DON含有两种类腐殖质组分及一种类蛋白质组分,且以类腐殖质组分为主,占比54.00%-77.67%;类蛋白组分对土地利用变化敏感,且随着粒径的减小,类蛋白组分占比增加,在<1 kDa组分中比例最高。红外光谱结果表明,4种土地利用背景下土壤DON主要在6个位置有相似的吸收峰,包含3410 cm^-1、1636 cm^-1、1402 cm^-1、1138-1035 cm^-1、673 cm^-1、602 cm^-1,不同土地利用背景下各吸收峰的透光度不同,强度最大的吸收来自游离的胺类N-H伸缩振动;水稻、菜园土壤DON芳香物质含量较高,结构较复杂。了解DON的组成与粒径分布对土地利用的响应,对进一步研究其生态环境行为具有重要意义。  相似文献

The influence of different plant and soil processes on the concentrations of soluble organic forms of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur in soil and drainage waters is reviewed. Current knowledge about soluble organic matter is restricted mainly to dissolved organic carbon. Comparable information about soluble organic nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur in processes such as eutrophication, plant uptake and decomposition is limited. Data are presented to highlight the potential sources of soluble organic components together with a discussion of their likely fate within the soil profile. the implications of changes in land use and management practices on dissolved organic matter are discussed.  相似文献

Water samples were collected on a fortnightly basis in the lagoon of S. Gilla (Sardinia, Mediterranean Sea) in order to study seasonal nutritional fluctuations of particulate organic matter. the lagoon is characterized by high quantities of suspended matter throughout the year. Thermohaline conditions had no effect on particulate matter quantity and composition, but the quantity as well as quality of suspended particles was drastically affected by the wind, the major effecter of sediment resuspension. As a result of sediment resuspension, seston was always richer in inorganic fraction. However, throughout the year of investigation, most particulate organic carbon was quite appealing for filter feeding communities, although the best POM quality was available during phytoplankton blooming. the phytoplankton pool of suspended matter was just a small fraction of the bulk, accounting for only 13% on average of particulate organic carbon. in terms of energy available in the seston, the highest amount was stored in organic matter heterotrophic fraction, whilst the smallest was to be found in living phytoplankton.  相似文献

The benthic ecological structure of the Tan-Shui estuary, Taiwan is changed due to long term effects of dumping of urban wastewater and of engineering actions. to monitor these changes, we sampled and analyzed benthos and sediment from 12 stations on the estuary.

The composition of the dominant species of benthos varied seasonally, with molluscan and crustacean species having greater numbers and higher frequencies of occurrence than other species. the dominant taxa during winter were Nassarius sp. and Maldanidae at two stations. Analysis using Simpson's index and Shannon's index showed the benthic community varied more in coastal areas than in offshore areas.

Physicochemical analysis showed that most of the Tan-Shui estuary consisted of sandy sediment. the variations in concentrations of organic carbon and total nitrogen at each station were small. Although the concentrations of chlorophyll-a and carotenoid at all stations were generally low, the two stations had the highest concentrations, and we concluded that the concentration of pigments in these sediments was related to the abundance of benthos. the community structure of the benthos reflected the characteristics of the sediments, and benthic species exhibited selection of and adaptation to specific sedimentary environments.  相似文献

Organic matter lability can be determined with different approaches, based on the quantitative and qualitative estimate of its nutritional value. the C/N ratio and the particulate organic matter (as the sum of protein, carbohydrate and lipid bulks) vs total suspended matter (POM/TSM) deal with a quantitative assessment of the organic matter bulk, while other indices such as proteins/carbohydrates ratio (PRT/CHO) may give also qualitative information. Gordon (1970) proposed a functional approach, based on organic carbon decrease after enzymatic digestion. Coupling Gordon's approach with the evaluation of the main biochemical components (proteins, carbohydrates and lipids) contained in the particulate organic matter, a simple method to assess lability and nutritional value of organic substrates is proposed.

Water samples were collected at the surface and close to the bottom in a shallow coastal station (10 m depth) in the Marconi Gulf (Ligurian Sea, NW Mediterranean). the difference between “total labile” and “hydrolyzed labile” organic matter (respectively before and after enzymatic digestion) suggests a relevant presence of resuspended refractory materials vs about 60% of labile hydrolyzed organic matter, thus confirming the importance of a more qualitative approach to organic matter studies.  相似文献

对漳州市的公园绿地、道路绿地、单位附属绿地和居住区绿地的有机质含量和磁学特征进行了分析,结果表明漳州市城区绿地有机质含量波动范围较大,土壤样品有机质含量的平均值是12.47 g/kg,变化范围为2.27~27.79 g/kg,不同绿地功能区有机质含量为单位附属绿地道路绿地公园绿地居住区绿地。土壤样品的平均磁化率值为300.39×10-8 m3/kg,频率磁化率平均值为1.58%,土壤呈现明显的磁性增强,不同绿地功能区土壤磁化率值为居住区绿地道路绿地单位附属绿地公园绿地;有机质与磁化率的相关性较弱,基本上不存在土壤发生学上的联系。由于工业排放,汽车尾气等人类活动的影响,原始土壤已经严重破坏,土壤组成复杂,大量外来物质入侵,漳州市城市绿地表现出明显的人为扰动特征,并且可能受到一定程度的重金属污染。  相似文献

为了探究溶解性有机碳(DOC)影响铜对背角无齿蚌稚蚌的急性毒性,以0.1‰盐浓度的去离子水为实验用水,设定梯度为0、10、23、45、90和180μg·L-1的Cu浓度,再分别添加0.3、0.8、1.5、3.0和6.0 mg C·L-1DOC形成实验溶液,开展了96 h铜暴露下背角无齿蚌1~2 d稚蚌的急性毒性实验。对应于各DOC浓度组的96 h-Cu-EC50值分别为19(95%置信区间:13~27,下同),23(17~31),17(12~23),13(8~19)和10(5~14)μg·L-1;DOC浓度与稚蚌的96 h-Cu-EC50值的变化呈负相关关系(R=-0.968,P=0.007)。本研究的结果显示,背角无齿蚌稚蚌对环境中Cu浓度的变化十分敏感,96 h-Cu-EC50值与国家渔业水质标准(GB11607—89)Cu的限量值十分接近,适于预警水环境中Cu的污染水平;但仅调整DOC浓度这一个水化学指标对降低铜毒性、减少稚蚌的死亡等方面效果并不明显。  相似文献
