Monte Carlo method is applied to investigate the kinetics of ammonia oxidative decomposition over the commercial propylene ammoxidation catalyst(Mo-Bi). The simulation is quite in agreement with experimental results. Monte Carlo simulation proves that the process of ammonia oxidation decomposition is a two-step reaction.  相似文献

The glycerol partial oxidation reaction over Pt/Al2O3 catalysts was studied under basic (NaOH/GLY molar ratio 4) and base-free conditions (NaOH/GLY molar ratio 0). Catalysts with small (2.95 nm) and large particle sizes (260.83 nm) were synthesized according to the use of different reducing agents, formaldehyde or sodium borohydride, and hydrazine, respectively. These different Pt particle sizes lead to a dramatic change in terms of activity, irrespective of the applied conditions. The biggest particles (i.e., 260 nm) seem to generate overoxidation products leading to a decrease in the carbon balance (to ~80%) while the smallest particles exhibit the highest initial glycerol transformation rate (i.e., ~10,000 mol h−1 molPt−1 under basic conditions at 60°C and ~2000 mol h−1 molPt−1 in the absence of a base at 100°C). In terms of selectivities, the main products are different as a function of the initial reaction conditions. For base-free conditions, the two main products are glyceraldehyde and glyceric acid with a sum of selectivities always larger than 80%. Under basic conditions, the major product is glyceric acid while no trace of glyceraldehyde is detected.  相似文献

The Au/Ce1?x Zr x O2 (x = 0, 0.25, 1) catalysts were synthesized, characterized by BET, XRD, TPR-H2, HRTEM, AAS and tested in CO oxidation. The effect of moisture in the reactant gas on CO conversion has been studied in a wide range of concentrations (~0.7–6000 ppm). Moisture generates a positive effect on catalytic activity and wet conditions gave higher CO conversions. The optimum concentration of moisture for CO oxidation over Au/CeO2 and Au/Ce0.75Zr0.25O2 is 200–1000 ppm, while further increase in the moisture content suppresses CO conversion. The activity of the studied Au catalysts depends on the amount of moisture adsorbed on the catalyst rather than on its content in the feed stream, which suggests that the reaction involves water-derived species on the catalysts surface. The effect of the catalysts pretreatment in air, dry He, H2 stream as well as H2 + H2O gas mixture on their catalytic performance in CO oxidation has been also investigated. The model of the active sites for CO oxidation over the studied catalysts was proposed.  相似文献
