On strong pseudomonotonicity and (semi)strict quasimonotonicity

An example in Ref. 1 is corrected to show that indeed a strongly pseudoconvex function, which is only once but not twice differentiable, does not necessarily have a strongly pseudoconvex gradient.     

On strong pseudomonotonicity and (semi)strict quasimonotonicity

New concepts of strong pseudomonotonicity, strict quasimonotonicity, and semistrict quasimonotonicity of a map are introduced and their properties are studied. In the case of a differentiable gradient map, we show that strong pseudomonotonicity of the gradient is equivalent to strong pseudoconvexity of the underlying function. This does not hold for a different concept of strong pseudomonotonicity in Ref. 1. Analogous results are shown for strict quasimonotonicity and semistrict quasimonotonicity.     

Generalized Convexity of Functions and Generalized Monotonicity of Set-Valued Maps

We establish connections between some concepts of generalized monotonicity for set-valued maps introduced earlier and some notions of generalized convexity. Moreover, a notion of pseudomonotonicity for set-valued maps is introduced; it is shown that, if a function f is continuous, then its pseudoconvexity is equivalent to the pseudomonotonicity of its generalized subdifferential in the sense of Clarke and Rockafellar.

An Extension of Pseudolinear Functions and Variational Inequality Problems

In optimization, objective functions which are both pseudoconvex and pseudoconcave have been studied extensively. Generalizing these results, we characterize pseudomonotone maps F where -F is also pseudomonotone and explore their properties in variational inequality problems. In particular, we extend recent results by Jeyakumar and Yang which were derived for optimization problems.

Boundary jets of holomorphic maps between strongly pseudoconvex domains

In this paper we consider jets taken at a fixed boundary point of germs of holomorphic diffeomorphisms which send one strongly pseudoconvex domain into another. We completely describe possible first and second jets and conditions of extremality in terms of the Chern-Moser normal forms of the domains.     

Vector variational inequality with pseudoconvexity on Hadamard manifolds

In this paper, we give some properties for nondifferentiable pseudoconvex functions on Hadamard manifolds, and discuss the connections between pseudoconvex functions and pseudomonotone vector fields. Moreover, we study Minty and Stampacchia vector variational inequalities, which are formulated in terms of Clarke subdifferential for nonsmooth functions. Some relations between the vector variational inequalities and nonsmooth vector optimization problems are established under pseudoconvexity or pseudomonotonicity. The results presented in this paper extend some corresponding known results given in the literatures.
