The World Wide Web's constant growth and transformation offers great opportunities - and poses many challenges for exploitation. The semantic Web has emerged as a possible answer to these challenges by offering an approach in organizing and sharing the Web, but it doesn't explicitly consider user needs and requirements. Heraclitus is a framework for semantic Web adaptation in which user needs and requirements are the driving force, using text and Web usage mining to support Web site ontology and topology evolution. A Flexible Ontology Reasoning Architecture for the Semantic Web   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Knowledge-based systems in the semantic Web era can make use of the power of the semantic Web languages and technologies, in particular those related to ontologies. Recent research has shown that user-defined data types are very useful for semantic Web and ontology applications. The W3C semantic Web best practices and development working group has set up a task force to address this issue. Very recently, OWL-Eu and OWL-E, two decidable extensions of the W3C standard ontology language OWL DL, have been proposed to support customized data types and customized data type predicates, respectively. In this paper, we propose a flexible reasoning architecture for these two expressive semantic Web ontology languages and describe our prototype implementation of the reasoning architecture, based on the well-known FaCT DL reasoner, which witnesses the two key flexibility features of our proposed architecture: 1) It allows users to define their own data types and data type predicates based on built-in ones and 2) new data type reasoners can be added into the architecture without having to change the concept reasoner  相似文献

在Web服务发现过程中,不同的用户希望根据自己的情况或个性化的需求进行服务选择,如何提供满足用户服务质量(QoS)需求的服务是语义Web服务应用急需解决的问题。基于OWL规范定义了一个QoS元模型——OWL-QoS,并将其应用于Web服务描述当中。根据提出的QoS元模型给出了一个基于QoS的语义Web服务发现框架,并从基本描述、IOPE、QoS三个层次实现了服务匹配。实验结果表明,与传统语义Web服务发现方法相比,该方法能显著提高服务匹配精度和效率。  相似文献

在Web2.0时代,越来越多的网站采用了动态脚本的方式和用户进行交互,大量客户端脚本的应用,造成了代码的可适应性、可维护性、可扩展性较差,无法兼容各种主流浏览器,页面之间的跳转仍然较多,资源的加载没有规则等问题,影响了应用性能和用户体验.提出了一种柔性Web展现框架模型FWF,构造了符合AJAX+MVC模式的框架模型,定义了组件模型并通过策略适配器的驱动及事件机制,较好解决了软件适应性问题;对UI组件进行面向对象的封装,实现模型(Model)、视图(Ⅵew)和控制(Controller)的合理分层,并通过内置的资源加载规则,缩短资源加载时间,从而提升用户应用体验,通过OSGI框架的模块扩展机制实现了Web组件的可扩展.此外,通过原型实例实验证明了框架的柔性和性能.  相似文献

服务质量(QOS)成为动态选择满足用户需求的Web服务的关键因素。然而目前Web服务的QoS信息描述缺乏语义性,且Web服务的选择还不能做到完全自动化。文章提出一种Web服务的QoS本体结构,并在此QoS本体和原有的语义Web服务的基础上提出基于QoS的语义Web服务选择框架(QSF4SWS)。研究表明,该框架不仅增强了Web服务QoS描述的语义性,而且还能够实现Web服务的动态发现与自动选择。  相似文献

Web 2.0 predicates an improved and seamless user interaction and management of Web environment and resources, guaranteeing required services and a flexible generation of user applications. This occurs via an agile composition of services from available application (foundation) tools. Hence, Web 2.0 developers merely create the core of these applications, while the boundaries dynamically change and expand in accordance with user interaction (a use model). In other words, the resources, tools, and services act as plug-in entities that users can add or remove from the application's operational framework according to their needs. 传统Web服务采用简单分类和关键字的服务发现方法,造成查准率与查全率低。语义Web服务是Web服务的语义扩展,它能有效提高服务发现的效率。本文基于OWL-S、描述逻辑,采用Agent技术、增强UDDI注册中心以及DL推理机JRacer,提出一个语义Web服务发现框架,使得请求与发布的服务能进行语义匹配,从而提高了服务的查准率和查全率。  相似文献

The power of the Web is enhanced through the network effect produced as resources link to each other with the value determined by Metcalfe's law. In Web 2.0 applications, much of that effect is delivered through social linkages realized via social networks online. Unfortunately, the associated semantics for Web 2.0 applications, delivered through tagging, is generally minimally hierarchical and sparsely linked. The Semantic Web suffers from the opposite problem. Semantic information, delivered through ontologies of varying amounts of expressivity, is linked to other terms (within or between resources) creating a link space in the semantic realm. However, the use of the Semantic Web has yet to fully realize the social schemes that provide the network of users. In this article, we discuss putting these together, with linked semantics coupled to linked social networks, to deliver a much greater effect.  相似文献

A key challenge for the semantic Web is to acquire the capability to effectively query large knowledge bases. As there will be several competing systems, we need benchmarks that will objectively evaluate these systems. Development of effective benchmarks in an emerging domain is a challenging endeavor. In this paper, we propose a requirements driven framework for developing benchmarks for semantic Web knowledge base systems (SW KBSs). In this paper, we make two major contributions. First, we provide a list of requirements for SW KBS benchmarks. This can serve as an unbiased guide to both the benchmark developers and personnel responsible for systems acquisition and benchmarking. Second, we provide an organized collection of techniques and tools needed to develop such benchmarks. Large volumes of content (bookmarks, reviews, videos, etc.) are currently being created on the “Social Web”, i.e. on Web 2.0 community sites, and this content is being annotated and commented upon. The ability to view an individual's entire contribution to the Social Web would be an interesting and valuable service, particularly important as social networks are often being formed through created content and things that people have in common (“object-centred sociality”). SIOC is a Semantic Web research project that aims to describe online communities on the Social Web. This paper describes how SIOC and the Semantic Web can enable linking and reuse scenarios of data from Web 2.0 community sites, and introduces a SIOC Types module to further specify the type of content items and act as a “glue” between user posts and the content items created and annotated by users.  相似文献
