A novel nanocomposite electrode based on hierarchical 3D porous MnO2?TiO2 for the application in hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sensors has been explored. This electrode was fabricated by growing TiO2 cross‐linked nanowires on a commercial fluorine tin oxide (FTO) glass via a hydrothermal process and subsequent deposition of 3D honeycomb‐like MnO2 nanowalls using an electrodeposition method (denoted as 3D MNS‐TNW@FTO). The obtained 3D MNS‐TNW@FTO electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Based on such a unique 3D porous framework and the existence of MnO2, the electrode demonstrates a good performance in the detection of H2O2, with two linear ranges from 9.8 to 125 μM and 125 μM–1.0 mM, a good selectivity of 8.02 μA mM?1 cm?2, and a low detection limit of 4.5 μM. In addition, the simplicity of the developed low‐cost fabrication process provides an efficient method for the mass production of electrocatalytical MnO2?TiO2 nanocomposites on commercial FTO glass for H2O2 sensing applications and can be adapted for other electrochemical sensors for various biochemical targets. It thus is beneficial for the practical usage in bioanalysis.  相似文献

In this study, a nanocomposite of 3, 4, 9, 10‐perylenetetracarboxylic acid and L‐cysteine (PTCA‐Cys) with satisfactory water‐solubility and film‐forming ability was prepared and worked as substrate for modifying the glassy carbon electrode. Then, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were immobilized to achieve a PTCA‐Cys‐AuNPs modified electrode which provided more reaction positions on the sensor. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, cyclic voltammetry and different pulse voltammetry were employed to characterize the assembly process of the sensor. The constructed sensor displayed desirable sensitivity, selectivity and stability towards the simultaneous detection of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA). Under the optimal experimental conditions, the oxidation peaks of AA, DA and UA appeared at 64, 240 and 376 mV, respectively. The corresponding linear response ranges were 3.2–435, 0.04–100 and 0.80–297 μM, and the detection limits were 1.1, 0.010 and 0.27 μM (S/N=3), respectively.  相似文献

In this work, the modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) with an imidazole derivative 2‐(2,3 dihydroxy phenyl) 4‐methyl benzimidazole (DHPMB) and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) was used as an electrochemical sensor for electrocatalytic oxidation of N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine (NAC). The electrocatalytic oxidation of N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine on the modified electrode surface was then investigated, indicating a reduction in oxidative over voltage and an intensive increase in the current of analyte. The scan rate potential, the percentages of DHPMB and RGO, and the pH solution were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, some parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient (α) between electrode and modifier, and the electron transfer rate constant) ks) in a 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH=7.0) were obtained by cyclic voltammetry method. The diffusion coefficient of species (D) 3.96×10?5 cm2 s?1 was calculated by chronoamperometeric technique and the Tafel plot was used to calculate α (0.46) for N‐ acetyl‐L‐cysteine. Also, by using differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) technique, two linear dynamic ranges of 2–18 µM and 18–1000 µM with the detection limit of 61.0 nM for N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine (NAC) were achieved. In the co‐existence system of N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine (NAC), uric acid (UA) and dopamine (DA), the linear response ranges for NAC, UA, and DA are 6.0–400.0 µM, 5.0–50.0 µM and 2.0–20.0 µM, respectively and the detection limits based on (C=3sb/m) are 0.067 µM, 0.246 µM and 0.136 µM, respectively. The obtained results indicated that DHPMB/RGO/CPE is applicable to separate NAC, uric acid (UA) and dopamine (DA) oxidative peaks, simultaneously. For analytic performance, the mentioned modified electrode was used for determination of NAC in the drug samples with acceptable results, and the simultaneous determination of NAC, UA and DA oxidative peaks was investigated in the serum solutions, too.  相似文献

2,2‐bis(3‐Amino‐4‐hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane (BAHHFP) was electro‐polymerized oxidatively on glassy carbon by cyclic voltammetry. The activity of the modified electrode towards ascorbic acid (AA), uric acid (UA) and dopamine (DA) was characterized with cyclic voltammetry and differential puls voltammetry (DPV). The findings showed that the electrode modification drastically suppresses the response of AA and shifts it towards more negative potentials. Simultaneously an enhancement of reaction reversibility is seen for DA and UA. Unusual, selective preconcentration features are observed for DA when the polymer‐modified electrode is polarized at negative potential. In a ternary mixture containing the three analytes studied, three baseline resolved peaks are observed in DPV mode. At physiological pH 7.4, after 5 min preconcentration at ?300 mV, peaks positions were ?0.073, 0.131 and 0.280 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) for AA, DA and UA, respectively. Relative selectivities DA/AA and UA/AA were over 4000 : 1 and 700 : 1, respectively. DA response was linear in the range 0.05–3 μM with sensitivity of 138 μA μM?1 cm?2 and detection limit (3σ) of 5 nM. Sensitive quantification of UA was possible in acidic solution (pH 1.8). Under such conditions a very sharp peak appeared at 630 mV (DPV). The response was linear in the range 0.5–100 μM with sensitivity of 4.67 μA μM?1 cm?2 and detection limit (3σ) of 0.1 μM. Practical utility was illustrated by selective determination of UA in human urine.  相似文献

N‐(3,4‐dihydroxyphenethyl)‐3,5‐dinitrobenzamide modified multiwall carbon nanotubes paste electrode was used as a voltammetric sensor for oxidation of penicillamine (PA), uric acid (UA) and tryptophan (TP). In a mixture of PA, UA and TP, those voltammograms were well separated from each other with potential differences of 300, 610, and 310 mV, respectively. The peak currents were linearly dependent on PA, UA and TP concentrations in the range of 0.05–300, 5–420, and 1.0–400 µmol L?1, with detection limits of 0.021, 2.0, and 0.82 µmol L?1, respectively. The modified electrode was used for the determination of those compounds in real samples.  相似文献

Glassy carbon electrode modified by microcrystals of fullerene‐C60 mediates the voltammetric determination of uric acid (UA) in the presence of ascorbic acid (AA). Interference of AA was overcome owing to the ability of pretreated fullerene‐C60‐modified glassy carbon electrode. Based on its strong catalytic function towards the oxidation of UA and AA, the overlapping voltammetric response of uric acid and ascorbic acid is resolved into two well‐defined voltammetric peaks with lowered oxidation potential and enhanced oxidation currents under conditions of both linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) and Osteryoung square‐wave voltammetry (OSWV). At pH 7.2, a linear calibration graph is obtained for UA in linear sweep voltammetry over the range from 0.5 μM to 700 μM with a correlation coefficient of 0.9904 and a sensitivity of 0.0215 μA μM?1 . The detection limit (3σ) is 0.2 μM for standard solution. AA in less than four fold excess does not interfere. The sensitivity and detection limit in OSWV were found as 0.0255 μA μM?1 and 0.12 μM, for standard solution respectively. The presence of physiologically common interferents (i.e. adenine, hypoxanthine and xanthine) negligibly affects the response of UA. The fullerene‐C60‐modified electrode exhibited a stable, selective and sensitive response to uric acid in the presence of interferents.  相似文献

A modified electrode was prepared by modification of the carbon paste electrode (CPE) with a nanostructured material. This nanostructure with electrocatalytic activity was synthesized by combination of poly pyrrole and copper oxide nanoparticles (PPy/CuO). The structure and morphology of PPy/CuO was studied. The fabricated modified electrode (CPE‐PPy/CuO) exhibited an excellent electrocatalytic activity toward levodopa (L‐DOPA) and uric acid (UA) oxidation because of high conductivity, low electron transfer resistance and catalytic effect. The CPE‐PPy/CuO had a lower overvoltage and enhanced electrical current with respect to the bare CPE for both L‐DOPA and UA. Also, the modified electrode showed a good resolution for the overlapped anodic peaks of L‐DOPA and UA. This electrode was used for the successful simultaneous determination of L‐DOPA and UA. The electrochemical sensor responded to L‐DOPA and UA in the concentration range of 0.050–1200 μM and 0.040–2000 μM, respectively. The detection limits were obtained by differential pulse voltammetry as 15 nM for L‐DOPA and 20 nM for UA. Finally, the proposed electrode was used for determination of L‐DOPA and UA in real samples using standard addition method.  相似文献

In this work, a novel sensor for detecting hydrogen peroxide was constructed on the base of nanotubular TiO2 and platinum nanoparticles. The morphology, structural, and electrochemical properties of the Pt/TiO2 nanocomposite electrodes were characterized by SEM, XRD and electrochemical methods. With an operating potential of +0.3 V versus Ag/AgCl, the sensor produces catalytic oxidation currents at the nanocomposite electrode, which can be exploited for quantitative determinations. The amperometric signals are linearly proportional to hydrogen peroxide concentration in the range 4×10?6 to 1.25×10?3 M. The regression equation is I (μA)=0.85 c (mM)+0.16 with a correction coefficient of 0.997. At a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3, a detection limit of 4.0 μM H2O2 can be observed for the nanocomposite electrode. In addition, the sensor has a good stability and reproducibility. The construction process is simple and inexpensive. The results demonstrated that nanotubular TiO2 exhibits great prospect for developing a class of ideal and novel bioreactors and biosensors.  相似文献

In this paper 1‐(2‐pyridylazo)‐2‐naphthol (PAN) and ionic liquid 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EMIMBF4) were mixed with graphite powder to get a modified carbon paste electrode (PAN‐IL‐CPE), which was further used for the sensitive determination of bismuth(III). By the co‐contribution of the formation of PAN‐Bi complex and the accumulation effect of IL, more bismuth(III) was electrodeposited on the surface of the PAN‐IL‐CPE. Then the reduced Bi was oxidized and detected by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) with the oxidation peak appeared at 0.17 V (vs. SCE). Under the optimal conditions the oxidation peak current was proportional to the bismuth(III) concentration in the range from 0.04 to 7.5 μmol L?1 with the detection limit as 3.9 nmol L?1. The proposed method was successfully applied to the stomach medicine sample detection with good recovery.  相似文献

Uric acid (UA) is an important biomarker in urine and serum samples for early diagnosis. This study re‐ ports a fluorescent biosensor based on Poly(cytosine)‐templated silver nanoclusters (C‐Ag NCs) and uricase for the highly sensitive and fast detection of UA. The strong fluorescence of the C‐Ag NCs prepared from poly (cytosine) nucleotides templates could be sensitively quenched by trace amount of H2O2, which produced from oxidation reaction of UA catalyzed by uricase. This biosensor exhibits two linear ranges as 50 nM~50 μM and 50 μM~400 μM, with a detection limit of 50 nM. The sensitivity of the biosensor is considerably improved compared with the methods reported in the literature. Furthermore, the detection ability of uric acid in serum samples is confirmed and this C‐Ag NCs‐based uric acid biosensor shows good promise of practical application.  相似文献

We report a simple and effective strategy for fabrication of the nanocomposite containing chitosan (CS) and multiwall carbon nanotube (MWNT) coated on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The characterization of the modified electrode (CS‐MWNT/GC) was carried out using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV–vis absorption spectroscopy. The electrochemical behavior of CS‐MWNT/GC electrode was investigated and compared with the electrochemical behavior of chitosan modified GC (CS/GC), multiwalled carbon nanotube modified GC (MWNT/GC) and unmodified GC using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electron impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The chitosan films are electrochemically inactive; similar background charging currents are observed at bare GC. The chitosan films are permeable to anionic Fe(CN)63?/4? (FC) redox couple. Electrochemical parameters, including apparent diffusion coefficient for the Fe(CN)63?/4? redox probe at FC/CS‐MWNT/GC electrode is comparable to values reported for cast chitosan films. This modified electrode also showed electrocatalytic effect for the simultaneous determination of D‐penicillamine (D‐PA) and tryptophan (Trp). The detection limit of 0.9 μM and 4.0 μM for D‐PA and Trp, respectively, makes this nanocomposite very suitable for determination of them with good sensitivity.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode (CPE), modified with novel hydroquinone/TiO2 nanoparticles, was designed and used for simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), uric acid (UA) and folic acid (FA). The magnitude of the peak current for modified TiO2-nanoparticle CPE (MTNCPE) increased sharply in the presence of ascorbic acid and was proportional to its concentration. A dynamic range of 1.0–1400.0 μM, with the detection limit of 6.4 × 10?7 M for AA, was obtained using the DPV technique (pH = 7.0). The prepared electrode was successfully applied for the determination of AA, UA, and FA in real samples.  相似文献

While most electrochemical uric acid (UA) sensors are developed on the conventional electrodes and involve either multiple steps based synthesis routes and/or complicated fabrication processes, this paper is the first demonstration of direct growth of pyrite FeS2 on pencil‐graphite electrode (PGE) for non‐enzymatic UA sensing. FESEM images of the pyrite FeS2‐PGE reveal mesoporous microspherical structure of pyrite FeS2 along with graphite flakes of PGE and EDX, Raman spectroscopic data validate growing of pyrite FeS2 on PGE. The pyrite FeS2‐PGE sensor exhibited detection limit of 6.7 μM, excellent linearity, reproducibility, selectivity over glucose, urea, ascorbic acid with the sensitivity of 370 μA mM?1 cm?2 in the range of 10–725 μM of UA. These improved analytical performances can be attributed to high conductivity of the pyrite FeS2, larger electro‐active surface area of the mesoporous microspherical pyrite FeS2 grown on PGE (than only PGE) and abundance in defect sites originating from both the pyrite FeS2 as well as functional groups of pencil graphite. Furthermore, the sensor was validated against UA in urine sample and the result supports well with the UA concentration achieved from colorimetric technique. Development of this low cost, non‐enzymatic, sensitive and highly selective pyrite FeS2‐PGE bases UA sensor is a significant step in the development of practically viable sensors for point‐of‐care applications in clinical and pharmaceutical analyses.  相似文献

In this paper, voltammetric determination of hydrazine was investigated by 1‐amino‐2‐naphtol‐4‐sulfonic acid (ANSA) at the surface of carbon paste electrode (CPE) using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and double potential step chronoamperometry. Results showed that in pH 7.00, hydrazine participates in Michael addition reaction with ANSA and the anodic peak potential of hydrazine shifted to 726 mV less positive than CPE in absence of ANSA, this value is unique compared with other research works. Also, the value of rate constant for the oxidation of hydrazine was calculated 8.3 × 104 cm3 mol‐1 s‐1 and the diffusion coefficient of ANSA at the surface of CPE was determined 7.3 × 10‐7 cm2 s‐1. A linear correlation between Ip and hydrazine concentration in the ranges, from 5 × 10‐5 mol/L to 2.5 × 10‐2 mol/L with CV method was obtained and the detection limit was found as 4.3 × 10‐5 mol/L.  相似文献

The synthesis of NiO/NiCo2O4 nanoparticles by an eco-friendly, fast, simple and cost-effective approach employing Urtica extract is reported in this study. The NiO/NiCo2O4 nanocomposite were characterized using VSM, FTIR, XRD, and SEM techniques. Moreover, to construct a modified carbon paste electrode, NiO/NiCo2O4 were employed and this sensor was used for dopamine (DA) detection. Using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) techniques, the electrochemical behavior of dopamine at the NiO/NiCo2O4/CPE was investigated. Analysis of dopamine, with a limit of detection (LOD) equal to 0.04 μM, in the concentration range of 0.1–100.0 μM, was facilitated by NiO/NiCo2O4/CPE. Moreover, the satisfactory selectivity for DA determination in the presence of uric acid (UA) and ascorbic acid (AA), was obtained. The suggested new sensor displayed a good reproducibility, sensitivity, and stability for determination of DA in drug and biological samples.  相似文献

Herein, platinum nanoparticles-decorated molybdenum disulfide(Pt NPs@MoS_2) nanocomposite has been synthesized via a microwave-assisted hydrothermal method, which was characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and powder X-ray diffraction(XRD). This MoS_2-based nanocomposite modified glass carbon electrode(Pt NPs@MoS_2/GCE) exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity toward dopamine(DA) and uric acid(UA) due to their synergistic effect. Two well-defined oxidation peaks of DA and UA were obtained at Pt NPs@MoS_2/GCE with a large peak separation of 160 m V(DA-UA), suggesting that the modified electrode could individually or simultaneously analyze DA and AA. Under the optimal conditions, the peak currents of DA and UA were linearly dependent on their concentrations in the range of 0.5–150 and 5–1000 mmol/L with detection limit of 0.17 and 0.98 mmol/L, respectively. The proposed MoS_2-based sensor can also be employed to examine DA and UA in real samples with satisfactory results. Therefore, the Pt NPs@MoS_2 nanocomposite might offer a good possibility for electrochemical sensing and other electrocatalytic applications.  相似文献

The nanocomposite (denoted as GR‐AuNPs‐CD‐CS) of graphene (GR), gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), chitosan (CS) and β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) was prepared to modify a glassy carbon electrode. The as‐modified electrode was explored for the ultrasensitive detection of dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA). The modified electrode demonstrated linearly increased current response in the concentration range of 0.1–120 µm for DA and 0.05–70 µm for UA, with so far the best detection limit for DA and UA. Good stability and repeatability were further demonstrated for the as‐made sensor.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode spiked with 1‐[4‐ferrocenyl ethynyl) phenyl]‐1‐ethanone (4FEPE) was constructed by incorporation of 4FEPE in graphite powder‐paraffin oil matrix. It has been shown by direct current cyclic voltammetry and double step chronoamperometry that this electrode can catalyze the oxidation of tryptophan (Trp) in aqueous buffered solution. It has been found that under optimum condition (pH 7.00), the oxidation of Trp at the surface of such an electrode occurs at a potential about 200 mV less positive than at an unmodified carbon paste electrode. The kinetic parameters such as electron transfer coefficient, α and rate constant for the chemical reaction between Trp and redox sites in 4FEPE modified carbon paste electrode (4FEPEMCPE) were also determined using electrochemical approaches. The electrocatalytic oxidation peak current of Trp showed a linear dependent on the Trp concentrations and linear calibration curves were obtained in the ranges of 6.00×10?6 M–3.35×10?3 M and 8.50×10?7 M–6.34×10?5 M of Trp concentration with cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods, respectively. The detection limits (3σ) were determined as 1.80×10?6 M and 5.60×10?7 M by CV and DPV methods. This method was also examined as a selective, simple and precise new method for voltammetric determination of tryptophan in real sample.  相似文献

Uric acid (UA) sensor based on molecularly imprinted polymer‐modified hanging mercury drop electrode was developed for sensitive and selective analysis in aqueous and blood serum samples. The uric acid‐imprinted polymer was prepared from melamine and chloranil and coated directly onto the surface of a hanging mercury drop electrode, under charge‐transfer interactions at +0.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), in model 303A electrode system connected with a polarographic analyzer/stripping voltammeter (PAR model 264A). The binding event of uric acid was detected in the imprinted polymer layer through differential pulse, cathodic stripping voltammetry (DPCSV) at optimized operational conditions [accumulation potential +0.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), accumulation time 120 s, pH 7.0, scan rate 10 mV s?1, pulse amplitude 25 mV]. The limit of detection for UA was found to be 0.024 μg mL?1 (RSD=0.64%, S/N=3). Under the optimized operational conditions, the sensor was able to differentiate between uric acid and other closely structural‐related compounds and interfering substances. Ascorbic acid (AA), a major interferent in UA estimation, was not adsorbed on the surface of sensor electrode. The present sensor is, therefore, UA‐selective at all concentrations of AA present in human blood serum samples. The précised and accurate quantification of UA have been made in the dilute as well as concentrated regions varying within limits 0.1–4.0 and 9.8–137.0 μg mL?1, respectively.  相似文献
