本文讨论阻尼振动系统(离散或连续系统)在周期外激励作用下的强迫响应;系统的阻尼阵不能对角化.导出了强迫响应一般解的显式解析表达式.利用这些解式,本文对某些振动现象作了较普遍的解析讨论.如,从一般角度讨论了单阻尼振动系统特有的“固定振幅点”现象;讨论了同相位外激励作用下产生同相位响应的条件等等.本文导出的解式对一大类系统仅含很低阶的矩阵求逆运算,因而在计算机数值计算上.本方法比之于现有方法,具有程序简单、耗时少和精度高等优点.本方法可平行应用于转子动力学的不平衡响应分析.     

Riordan阵与Cauchy多项式

给出了Cauchy多项式c_n~α(z)的定义,并导出它的生成函数.再利用Riordan阵方法得到包含Cauchy多项式的一些恒等式,获得它与广义调和多项式H_n~((r))(z),广义Stirling多项式P_(n,r)(z)的关系式.

Growth Estimates for Semigroups Generated by 2Sx2 Operator Matrices

In this paper we give an explicit formula for semigroups generated by 2×2 operator matrices. Using this formula we can derive an estimate for the growth bound of the associated matrix generator. Finally these results are applied to a complete second order Cauchy problem yielding an explicit formula and a growth estimate for the solution of this problem.     

An explicit inversion formula for the exponential Radon transform using data from 180°

We derive a direct inversion formula for the exponential Radon transform. Our formula requires only the values of the transform over an 180° range of angles. It is an explicit formula, except that it involves a holomorphic function for which an explicit expression has not been found. In practice, this function can be approximated by an easily computed polynomial of rather low degree.     

Hausdorff measures for a class of homogeneous Moran sets

This paper provides an explicit formula for the Hausdorff measures of a class of regular homogeneous Moran sets. In particular, this provides, for the first time, an example of an explicit formula for the Hausdorff measure of a fractal set whose Hausdorff dimension is greater than 1.

The first moment of Salié sums

The main objective of this article is to study the asymptotic behavior of Salié sums over arithmetic progressions. We deduce from our asymptotic formula that Salié sums possess a bias towards being positive. The method we use is based on the Kuznetsov formula for modular forms of half-integral weight. Moreover, in order to develop an explicit formula, we are led to determine an explicit orthogonal basis of the space of modular forms of half-integral weight.     

Representation for the Lagrangian numerical differentiation formula involving elementary symmetric functions

By using elementary symmetric functions, this paper presents an explicit representation for the Lagrangian numerical differentiation formula as well as the error estimate for local approximation. And we also point out that the numerical differentiation formula constructed by Li [J.P. Li, General explicit difference formulas for numerical differentiation, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 183 (2005) 29-52] is actually a special case of the Lagrangian numerical differentiation formula to approximate the values of the derivatives at the nodes.

Intégrales-fibres pour une formule de Chowla - Selberg

The Chowla-Selberg formula links the class number of negative fundamental quadratic discriminant to values of the Dedekind eta function evaluated over representatives of the class group. It enables the explicit calculation of a large class of elliptic integrals, especially the complete elliptic integrals of the first kind. In this work, we use the integral-fibre theory to offer a new proof of a significant case of this fundamental formula. The method we present here seems susceptible of getting a direct analytic access to a generalization of the explicit instances of the Chowla-Selberg formula in higher dimensions.     

On dimension formulas for Jacobi forms

In this paper, we discuss the dimension formula for Jacobi forms via the Selberg trace formula, an explicit dimension formula for the space of Jacobi cusp forms of degree 2 is given as an application.
