掺铒平面光波导放大器对工作波长1.5 μm的集成光有广泛的应用.这些器件具有增益高、抽运阈值低、器件尺寸小等优点.目前用于光波导放大器的掺铒材料有四类:氧化物薄膜(Al2O3)、有机物、硅和玻璃等. 最小的放大器(1 mm2)用Al2O3的沟道波导,抽运功率10 mW,输出增益为2.3 dB.在此类材料中,增益受激活离子Er之间的上转换限制.使用不同的方法,相同的铒离子浓度,Y2O3中的上转换效应完全不同.Eu共掺降低了上转换的影响,使增益增加.在SiO2中用Yb或Si量子点增加了抽运效率.制作4.1 dB/cm的增益光放大器成为最佳光纤通讯网络组件.铒离子掺入有机化合物中形成波导,在1.5 μm的发射带宽为70 nm,荧光寿命长,有的达17 ms敏化.可增加激发效率.纳米结构材料可克服浓度淬灭. 硅是1.5 μm非常好的波导材料,很有希望制作电抽运光放大器.掺铒硅单晶中观察到1.5 μm荧光,但在室温下,后向传输产生强烈的浓度淬灭.使用纳米技术制作的Si,可制作小尺寸光子晶体波导. 磷酸盐玻璃是制作高增益光波导放大器的理想材料,荧光寿命较长,受激发射截面大.采用离子交换法制作的波导净增益高,损耗低,制作成本低.(PD2)  相似文献

对一种全聚合物SU8光波导的制备工艺和波导特性进行了研究.测试结果显示,所制备光波导在1 550 nm的传输损耗为2.01 dB/cm,且具有高的侧壁陡直度.详细研究了光波导制备工艺过程中前烘温度和时间、光刻时间、后烘温度和时间以及显影时间等工艺参数对波导质量的影响,给出了4.5 μm×4.0 μm尺寸单模波导制备的优化工艺.讨论了采用稀释后的SU8材料所制备的光波导出现侧蚀的原因以及改进的方法.  相似文献

设计了一种基于多模干涉(MMI)耦合输入/输出结构的跑道型双微环串联谐振滤波器,并采用紫外光敏聚合物材料SU-8作波导芯层,聚合物CYTOP为下包层,在硅基底上完成了器件的制备.器件的波导端面尺寸为2 μm×1 μm,与设计值相符,扫描电镜显示所制备的器件波导侧壁陡直度较高.直波导传输损耗的测试结果表明,在1550 nm波长,直波导传输损耗约为2.0 dB/cm.测试并获得了多模干涉结构和器件的通光及输出光谱图\.测试结果表明,MMI结构在较宽的波长范围内实现了接近50∶50的功分比,微环谐振滤波器的通光性能良好,实现了滤波功能,器件的自由光谱区FSR实际值约为0.94 nm,与设计参数值很接近.研究结果表明采用聚合物SU-8制备小波导尺寸微环谐振器的器件简便可行.  相似文献

为了研究离子与中红外晶体相互作用的机理,探索中红外晶体光波导的制备和性能,采用离子辐照技术结合精密金刚石刀切割,在MgF2晶体材料中制备了深度17.5 μm、宽度14 μm的脊形光波导。采用SRIM软件模拟了C5+离子辐照MgF2晶体的电子能量损伤和核能量损伤的过程,分析了波导的形成机理;模拟了波导的折射率变化,并对波导的近场模式进行了实验测量和理论模拟;采用热退火处理来降低波导的传输损耗,将传输损耗降低为0.4 dB/cm;微拉曼光谱证明离子辐照过程并未对MgF2晶体波导区造成较大的晶格损伤。该工作表明,离子辐照技术结合划片机精密切割是一种十分成熟的脊形波导制备手段,制备的MgF2晶体脊形光波导在中红外集成光学和光通讯领域具有广泛的应用前景。  相似文献

详细分析了基于自镜像效应的 MMI DMUX器件的基本工作原理 ,在此基础上 ,在 SOI材料上完成了对 8信道 MMI DMU X的具体设计 .该器件的输入、输出单模波导采用 Soref的大截面脊形光波导理论进行优化设计 ,最后获得了当输入、输出单模波导宽度为 5 μm,SIE多模波导宽度和长度分别为 72 μm和 6 313.4μm时 ,该器件对8信道波长的隔离度均在 35 d B以上 ,且理论传输损耗 <0 .18d B.  相似文献

设计了玻璃基K+-Na+离子交换1×32级联Y分叉光功分器.由于采用了一种新型的器件结构形式,光功分器的长度得以缩短,当输出波导间距为127 μm、波导最小曲率半径为30 mm时,器件总长只有20 mm.为了提高器件的功分均匀性,对波导的泄漏模进行了控制,使一阶泄漏模的损耗速度达到32 dB/cm.为了提高波导与光纤的耦合效率,器件输入输出端进行了光斑尺寸变换,使光纤-波导的耦合损耗降低到0.26 dB.  相似文献

利用多模波导的自镜像原理,分析设计了一种能直接与单模光纤相耦合的具有最小循环比的1.31/1.55 μm波长的GaAs/GaAlAs波分复用/解复用器。该器件的输入、输出单模波导和SIE多模波导采用离散谱折射率法进行优化设计,最后获得了当输入、输出单模波导宽为3 μm、SIE多模波导宽度和最佳耦合长度分别为18 μm和5 602.8 μm时,该器件对1.31 μm和1.55 μm两个波长的隔离度均在70 dB以上,且传输损耗小于0.1 dB。  相似文献

设计了一种Ge/Si波导集成型雪崩光电二极管(APD).器件采用将Si波导层置于Ge吸收层之下的结构,光经波导层进入吸收层只需一次耦合,降低了光的损耗,提高了光的吸收率和光电流.采用silvaco软件对器件的结构和性能进行仿真,结果表明:器件的雪崩击穿电压为-28 V,最大内量子效率达到89%,在1.15~1.60 μm范围内具有较高响应度,峰值波长位于1.31μm,单位响应度最高达0.74 A/W,3 dB带宽为10 GHz.  相似文献

The parallel thinning algorithm with two subiterations is improved in this paper. By analyzing the notions of connected components and passes, a conclusion is drawn that the number of passes and the number of eight-connected components are equal. Then the expression of the number of eight-connected components is obtained which replaces the old one in the algorithm. And a reserving condition is proposed by experiments, which alleviates the excess deletion where a diagonal line and a beeline intersect. The experimental results demonstrate that the thinned curve is almost located in the middle of the original curve connectivelv with single pixel width and the processing speed is high.  相似文献

The relation between the power of the Brillouin signal and the strain is one of the bases of the distributed fiber sensors of temperature and strain. The coefficient of the Bfillouin gain can be changed by the temperature and the strain that will affect the power of the Brillouin scattering. The relation between the change of the Brillouin gain coefficient and the strain is thought to be linear by many researchers. However, it is not always linear based on the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. Therefore, errors will be caused if the relation between the change of the Brillouin gain coefficient and the strain is regarded as to be linear approximately for measuring the temperature and the strain. For this reason, the influence of the parameters on the Brillouin gain coefficient is proposed through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.  相似文献

Today, micro-system technology and the development of new MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) are emerging rapidly. In order for this development to become a success in the long run, measurement systems have to ensure product quality. Most often, MEMS have to be tested by means of functionality or destructive tests. One reason for this is that there are no suitable systems or sensing probes available which can be used for the measurement of quasi inaccessible features like small holes or cavities. We present a measurement system that could be used for these kinds of measurements. The system combines a fiber optical, miniaturized sensing probe with low-coherence interferometry, so that absolute distance measurements with nanometer accuracy are possible.  相似文献

A new quantum protocol to teleport an arbitrary unknown N-qubit entangled state from a sender to a fixed receiver under M controllers(M < N) is proposed. The quantum resources required are M non-maximally entangled Greenberger-Home-Zeilinger (GHZ) state and N-M non-maximally entangled Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) pairs. The sender performs N generalized Bell-state measurements on the 2N particles. Controllers take M single-particle measurement along x-axis, and the receiver needs to introduce one auxiliary two-level particle to extract quantum information probabilistically with the fidelity unit if controllers cooperate with it.  相似文献

A continuous-wave (CW) 457 nm blue laser operating at the power of 4.2 W is demonstrated by using a fiber coupled laser diode module pumped Nd: YVO4 and using LBO as the intra-cavity SHG crystal With the optimization of laser cavity and crystal parameters, the laser operates at a very high efficiency. When the pumping power is about 31 W, the output at 457nm reaches 4.2 W, and the optical to optical conversion efficiency is about 13.5% accordingly. The stability of the out putpower is better than 1.2% for 8 h continuously working.  相似文献
