Methodology leading to a new class of rodlike p-carborane derivatives is described, involving the palladium-catalyzed coupling of B-iodinated p-carboranes with terminal alkynes. The products of these reactions contain an alkyne substituent at a boron vertex of the p-carborane cage. Reaction of closo-2-I-1,12-C(2)B(10)H(11) (1) with closo-2-(C&tbd1;CH)-1,12-C(2)B(10)H(11) (3) in the presence of pyrrolidine and catalytic quantities of bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium dichloride and cupric iodide yields 1,2-(closo-1',12'-C(2)B(10)H(11)-2'-yl)(2) acetylene (4). Oxidative coupling of 3 in the presence of cupric chloride in piperidine affords 1,4-(closo-1',12'-C(2)B(10)H(11)-2'-yl)(2)-1,3-butadiyne (5). Reaction of 2 molar equiv. of closo-2,9-I(2)-1,12-C(2)B(10)H(10) (6) withcloso-2,9-(C&tbd1;CH)(2)-1,12-C(2)B(10)H(10) (7) in the presence of pyrrolidine and catalytic quantities of bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium dichloride and cupric iodide yields closo-2,9-(closo-2'-I-9'-C&tbd1;C-1',12'-C(2)B(10)H(10))(2)-1,12-C(2)B(10)H(10) (8), a rigid, iodine-terminated carborod trimer in which the p-carborane cages are linked at the 2 and 9 B-vertices by alkyne (C&tbd1;C) bridges. The molecular structures of 5 and the previously described closo-2,9-(C&tbd1;CSiMe(3))(2)-1,12-C(2)B(10)H(10) (9) have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Crystallographic data are as follows: for 5, monoclinic, space group P2/a, a = 12.352(6) ?, b = 14.169 (6) ?, c = 12.384(5) ?, beta = 109.69(2) degrees, V = 2041 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.098, R(w)( )()= 0.135; for 9, monoclinic, space group C2/m, a = 22.111(4) ?, b = 7.565(2) ?, c = 6.943(2) ?, beta = 107.871(8) degrees, V = 1105 ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.059, R(w)( )()= 0.090.  相似文献

Reaction of [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]TiCl(NMe2) (1) with 1 equiv of PhCH2K, MeMgBr, or Me3SiCH2Li gave corresponding organotitanium alkyl complexes [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(R)(NMe2) (R = CH2Ph (2), CH2SiMe3 (4), or Me (5)) in good yields. Treatment of 1 with 1 equiv of n-BuLi afforded the decomposition product {[eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti}2(mu-NMe)(mu:sigma-CH2NMe) (3). Complex 5 slowly decomposed to generate a mixed-valence dinuclear species {[eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti}2(mu-NMe2)(mu:sigma-CH2NMe) (6). Complex 1 reacted with 1 equiv of PhNCO or 2,6-Me2C6H3NC to afford the corresponding monoinsertion product [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(Cl)[eta(2)-OC(NMe2)NPh] (7) or [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(Cl)[eta(2)-C(NMe2)=N(2,6-Me2C6H3)] (8). Reaction of 4 or 5 with 1 equiv of R'NC gave the titanium eta(2)-iminoacyl complexes [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(NMe2)[eta(2)-C(R)=N(R')] (R = CH2SiMe3, R' = 2,6-Me2C6H3 (9) or tBu (10); R = Me, R' = 2,6-Me2C6H3 (11) or tBu (12)). The results indicated that the unsaturated molecules inserted into the Ti-N bond only in the absence of the Ti-C(alkyl) bond and that the Ti-C(cage) bond remained intact. All complexes were fully characterized by various spectroscopic techniques and elemental analyses. Molecular structures of 2, 3, 6-8, and 10-12 were further confirmed by single-crystal X-ray analyses.  相似文献

Group 4 metal complexes [M(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, thiazole, M = Ti; R = pyridine, thiazole; M = Zr) containing the tetramethylcyclopentadienyl-dialkylsilyl bridged amidinato as pendant ligand, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, solution (1)H, (13)C and (15)N NMR spectroscopy and experimental (13)C and (15)N CPMAS in the solid state. The crystal structures of [Ti(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, thiazole) were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. All compounds exhibit a distorted tetrahedral geometry, with the ansa-monocyclopentadienyl-amido ligands acting in a bidentate mode. The [M(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, thiazole; M = Zr, Ti) complexes are ethylene polymerization catalysts in the presence of MAO and they are active precursors in regioselective catalytic hydroamination operating with an anti-Markovnikov mechanism.  相似文献

To model the Ti-olefin interaction in the putative [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(R')(olefin)(+) intermediates in "constrained geometry" Ti-catalyzed olefin polymerization, chelated alkoxide olefin complexes [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))(+) have been investigated. The reaction of [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]TiMe(2) (1a,b; R = H, Me) with HOCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2) yields mixtures of [eta(5)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)NH(t)Bu]TiMe(2)(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2)) (2a,b) and [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]TiMe(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2)) (3a,b). The reaction of 2a/3a and 2b/3b mixtures with B(C(6)F(5))(3) yields the chelated olefin complexes [[eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))][MeB(C(6)F(5))(3)] (4a,b; 71 and 89% NMR yield). The reaction of 2b/3b with [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] yields [[eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] (5b, 88% NMR yield). NMR studies establish that 4a,b and 5b exist as mixtures of diastereomers (isomer ratios: 4a/4a', 62/38; 4b/4b', 75/25; 5b/5b', 75/25), which differ in the enantioface of the olefin that is coordinated. NMR data for these d(0) metal olefin complexes show that the olefin coordinates to Ti in an unsymmetrical fashion primarily through C(term) such that the C=C pi bond is polarized with positive charge buildup on C(int). Dynamic NMR studies show that 4b/4b' undergoes olefin face exchange by a dissociative mechanism which is accompanied by fast inversion of configuration at Ti ("O-shift") in the olefin-dissociated intermediate. The activation parameters for the conversion of 4b to 4b' (i.e., 4b/4b' face exchange) are: DeltaH = 17.2(8) kcal/mol; DeltaS = 8(1) eu. 4a/4a' also undergoes olefin face exchange but with a lower barrier (DeltaH = 12.2(9) kcal/mol; DeltaS = -2(3) eu), for the conversion of 4a to 4a'.  相似文献

Ammonolyses of mono(pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) titanium(IV) derivatives [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)X3] (X = NMe2, Me, Cl) have been carried out in solution to give polynuclear nitrido complexes. Reaction of the tris(dimethylamido) derivative [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)(NMe2)3] with excess of ammonia at 80-100 degrees C gives the cubane complex [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)]4(mu3-N)4] (1). Treatment of the trimethyl derivative [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me3] with NH3 at room temperature leads to the trinuclear imido-nitrido complex [[Ti(eta/5-CsMes)(mu-NH)]3(mu3-N)] (2) via the intermediate [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me]2(mu-NH)2] (3). The analogous reaction of [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me3] with 2,4,6-trimethylaniline (ArNH2) gives the dinuclear imido complex [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me])2(mu-NAr)2] (4) which reacts with ammonia to afford [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)(NH2)]2(mu-NAr)2] (5). Complex 2 has been used, by treatments with the tris(dimethylamido) derivatives [Ti(eta5-C5H5-nRn)(NMe2)3], as precursor of the cubane nitrido systems [[Ti4(eta5-C5Me5)3(eta5-C5H5-nRn)](mu3-N)4] [R = Me n = 5 (1), R = H n = 0 (6), R = SiMe3 n = 1 (7), R = Me n = 1 (8)] via dimethylamine elimination. Reaction of [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Cl3] or [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)(NMe2)Cl2] with excess of ammonia at room temperature gives the dinuclear complex [[Ti2(eta5-C5Me5)2Cl3(NH3)](mu-N)] (9) where an intramolecular hydrogen bonding and a nonlineal nitrido ligand bridge the "Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Cl(NH3)" and "Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Cl2" moieties. The molecular structures of [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me]2 (mu-NAr)2] (4) and [[Ti2(eta5-C5Me5)2Cl3(NH3)](mu-N)] (9) have been determined by X-ray crystallographic studies. Density functional theory calculations also have been conducted on complex 9 to confirm the existence of an intramolecular N-H...Cl hydrogen bond and to evaluate different aspects of its molecular disposition.  相似文献

Addition of an equal molar quantity of R- (R = Me, SiMe3) to complex (Nacnac)Ti=NAr(OTf) (Nacnac- =[ArNC(tBu)]2CH, Ar = 2,6-iPr2C6H3) forms the imido alkyl (Nacnac)Ti=NAr(R), which can be readily protonated to afford [(Nacnac)Ti=NAr(L)]+ (L = THF, Et2O, eta1-C6H5NMe2), or treated with B(C6F5)3 to afford the zwitterion (Nacnac)Ti=NAr(micro-CH3)B(C6F5)3.  相似文献

The boron-bridged constrained geometry titanium complexes [Ti[eta5:eta1-(C5H4)B(NR2)NPh](NMe2)2][R = iPr (3), SiMe3(4)] and [Ti[eta5:eta1-(C9H6)B(NiPr2)NPh](NMe2)2](12) have been prepared in good yields by amine elimination reaction from [Ti(NMe2)4]. Subsequent deamination-chlorination with excess Me3SiCl yielded the corresponding dichloro-complexes (5, 6, 13). Reaction of the analogous ligand precursors (C5H5)B(NiPr2)N(H)R (R = Cy, tBu) with [Ti(NMe2)4] did not result in the expected bridged compounds, but rather in the half-sandwich complexes [Ti[(eta5-C5H4)B(NiPr2)N(H)R](NMe2)3][R = Cy (9), tBu (10)]. All compounds were fully characterised by means of multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. Thorough investigation of substituent effects was achieved by comparative X-ray diffraction studies on complexes 3, 5, 6 and 12.  相似文献

Reaction of the diborane(4) B(2)(NMe(2))(2)I(2) with two equivalents of K[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))M(CO)(3)] (M=Cr, Mo, W) yielded the dinuclear boryloxycarbyne complexes [[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(2)M(triple bond)CO](2)B(2)(NMe(2))(2)] (4 a, M=Mo; b, M=W; c, M=Cr), which were fully characterised in solution by multinuclear NMR methods. The Mo and W complexes 4 a, b proved to be kinetically favoured products of this reaction and underwent quantitative rearrangement in solution to afford the complexes [[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(2)M(triple bond)CO]B(NMe(2))B(NMe(2))[M(CO)(3)(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))]] (5 a, M=Mo; b, M=W); 5 a was characterised by X-ray crystallography in the solid state. Corresponding reactions of B(2)(NMe(2))(2)I(2) with only one equivalent of K[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))M(CO)(3)] (M=Mo, W) initially afforded 1:1 mixtures of the boryloxycarbyne complexes 4 a, b and unconsumed B(2)(NMe(2))(2)I(2). This mixture, however, yielded finally the diborane(4)yl complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(3)M[B(NMe(2))B(NMe(2))I]] (6 a, M=Mo; b, M=W) by [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(3)M] transfer and rearrangement. Density functional calculations were carried out for 4 c and 5 a, b.  相似文献

The 47, 49Ti chemical shifts, resonance line half-widths (Deltanu1/2) and energies of the first electronic charge-transfer transitions (lambdamax1.CT) of Cp'TiX3, where Cp' = eta5-C5H5 (Cp), eta5-C5H4Me (MeCp), eta5-C5HMe4 (Me4Cp), eta5-C5Me5 (Me5Cp), eta5-C5H4SiMe3 (SiCp), eta5-C5H4SnMe3 (SnCp) and eta5-C5H4SiMe2Cl (Si'Cp) and X = Cl, Br, I and OBut, half-sandwich complexes are reported. For the compounds studied, a direct linear relationship between delta(49Ti) and lambdamax1.CT was found.  相似文献

M(NMe(2))(4) (M = Ti, Zr, Hf) were found to react with H(2)SiR'Ph (R' = H, Me, Ph) to yield H(2), aminosilanes, and black solids. Unusual amide hydride complexes [(Me(2)N)(3)M(mu-H)(mu-NMe(2))(2)](2)M (M = Zr, 1; Hf, 2) were observed to be intermediates and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. [(Me(2)N)(3)M(mu-D)(mu-NMe(2))(2)](2)M (1-d(2), 2-d(2)) were prepared through reactions of M(NMe(2))(4) with D(2)SiPh(2). Reactions of (Me(2)N)(3)ZrSi(SiMe(3))(3) (5) with H(2)SiR'Ph were found to give aminosilanes and (Me(2)N)(2)Zr(H)Si(SiMe(3))(3) (6). These reactions are reversible through unusual equilibria such as (Me(2)N)(3)ZrSi(SiMe(3))(3) (5) + H(2)SiPh(2) right arrow over left arrow (Me(2)N)(2)Zr(H)Si(SiMe(3))(3) (6) + HSi(NMe(2))Ph(2). The deuteride ligand in (Me(2)N)(2)Zr(D)Si(SiMe(3))(3) (6-d(1)) undergoes H-D exchange with H(2)SiR'Ph (R' = Me, H) to give 6 and HDSiR'Ph. The reaction of Ti(NMe(2))(4) with SiH(4) in chemical vapor deposition at 450 degrees C yielded thin Ti-Si-N ternary films containing TiN and Si(3)N(4). Ti(NMe(2))(4) reacts with SiH(4) at 23 degrees C to give H(2), HSi(NMe(2))(3), and a black solid. HNMe(2) was not detected in this reaction. The reaction mixture, upon heating, gave TiN and Si(3)N(4) powders. Analyses and reactivities of the black solid revealed that it contained -H and unreacted -NMe(2) ligands but no silicon-containing ligand. Ab initio quantum chemical calculations of the reactions of Ti(NR(2))(4) (R = Me, H) with SiH(4) indicated that the formation of aminosilanes and HTi(NR(2))(3) was favored. These calculations also showed that HTi(NH(2))(3) (3b) reacted with SiH(4) or H(3)Si-NH(2) in the following step to give H(2)Ti(NH(2))(2) (4b) and aminosilanes. The results in the current studies indicated that the role of SiH(4) in its reaction with Ti(NMe(2))(4) was mainly to remove amide ligands as HSi(NMe(2))(3). The removal of amide ligands is incomplete, and the reaction thus yielded "=Ti(H)(NMe(2))" as the black solid. Subsequent heating of the black solid and HSi(NMe(2))(3) may then yield TiN and Si(3)N(4), respectively, as the Ti-Si-N materials.  相似文献

Photolysis of (eta(6)-arene)Cr(CO)(3) complexes and HSnPh(3) in aromatic solvents at room temperature has led to two classes of complexes: hydrido stannyl compounds containing the eta(2)-H-SnPh(3) ligand and bis(stannyl) compounds containing two SnPh(3) ligands. The ratio between the two complexes simultaneously produced depends on the choice of the arene. Complexes with different arenes (mesitylene, toluene, benzene, fluorobenzene, and difluorobenzene) have been obtained and characterized including X-ray structures for (eta(6)-C(6)H(3)(CH(3))(3))Cr(CO)(2)(H)(SnPh(3)) (1a), (eta(6)-C(6)H(3)(CH(3))(3))Cr(CO)(2)(SnPh(3))(2) (1b), (eta(6)-C(6)H(5)F)Cr(CO)(2)(SnPh(3))(2) (4b), and (eta(6)-C(6)H(4)F(2))Cr(CO)(2)(SnPh(3))(2) (5b). X-ray crystallography of the last three compounds has given the following results: 1b, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 14), a = 13.905(4) ?, b = 18.499(2) ?, c = 17.708(2) ?, Z = 4, V = 4285(1) ?(3); 4b, orthorhombic, space group Pca2(1) (No. 29), a = 16.717(2) ?, b = 18.453(2) ?, c = 25.766(2) ?, Z = 8, V = 7948(2) ?(3); 5b, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 14), a = 13.756(2) ?, b = 18.560(2) ?, c = 17.159(2) ?, Z = 4, V = 4372(2) ?(3). The relatively high J((119)Sn-Cr-H) and J((117)Sn-Cr-H) values as well as the X-ray structural data provide evidence for the existence of three-center two-electron bonds in the hydrido stannyl complexes. The (1)H NMR data of the complexes are compared with chromium-arene bond distances, and a sensible trend is observed and discussed.  相似文献

Complex OsH{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe2}(P(i)Pr3)2 (1) reacts with 1 equiv of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (HOTf) and trifluoromethanesulfonic acid-d1 (DOTf) to produce the dihydride and hydride-deuteride complexes, [OsHE{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe2}(P(i)Pr3)2]OTf (E = H (2), D (2-d1), respectively. Treatment of 2 and 2-d1 with a second equivalent of HOTf gives [OsHE{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NHMe2}(P(i)Pr3)2][OTf]2 (E = H (3), D (3-d1) as a result of the protonation of the nitrogen atom. While the hydride and deuteride ligands of 2, 2-d1, 3, and 3-d1 do not undergo any H/D exchange process with the solvent, in acetone-d6, the NH proton of 3 and 3-d1 changes places with a deuterium atom of the solvent to yield [OsHE{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NDMe2}(P(i)Pr3)2][OTf]2 (E = H (3-Nd1), D (3-d2)). Complex 3-Nd1 can also be obtained from the treatment of complex 2 with DOTf in dichloromethane. No exchange process between the hydride and the ND positions in 3-Nd1 or between the deuteride and NH positions in 3-d1 has been observed. Treatment of 3-Nd1 and 3-d1 with sodium methoxide results in a selective reaction of the base with the ammonium group to regenerate 2 and 2-d1, respectively. Complex 1 also reacts with methyl and methyl-d3 trifluoromethanesulfonate (CH3OTf and CD3OTf, respectively) to give [OsH{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe2CE3}(P(i)Pr3)2]OTf (E = H (4), D (4-d3)) as a result of the addition of the CE3 (E = H, D) group to the nitrogen atom. Complex 4 has been characterized by an X-ray diffraction analysis. It reacts with a second molecule of CH3OTf or CD3OTf to produce [OsH{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe3}{CH2CH(CH3)P(i)P2}(P(i)Pr3)[OTf]2 (5). Similarly, complex 4-d3 reacts with a second molecule of CH3OTf or CD3OTf to yield [OsH{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe2CD3}{CH2CH(CH3)P(i)P2}(P(i)Pr3)[OTf]2 (5-d3). In acetonitrile, complex 5 evolves to an equilibrium mixture of the acetonitrile adducts [Os{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe3}(NCCH3)(P(i)Pr3)2][OTf]2 (7) and [Os{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe3}(NCCH3)2(P(i)Pr3)][OTf]2 (8). In methanol or methanol-d4, complex 4 is not stable and loses trimethylamine to give the vinylcyclopentadienyl derivatives [OsHE(eta5-C5H4CH=CH2)(P(i)Pr3)2]OTf (E = H (9), D (9-d1)) as a result of the protonation or deuteration of the metallic center and a subsequent Hofmann elimination. Protonation of 4 with HOTf gives the dihydride-trimethylammonium derivative [OsH2{eta5-C5H4(CH2)2NMe3}(P(i)Pr3)2][OTf]2 (10). Treatment of 9 with sodium methoxide produces OsH(eta5-C5H4CH=CH2)(P(i)Pr3)2 (11).  相似文献

Synthesis of a family of monomeric, base-free bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium oxide complexes, (eta5-C5Me4R)2Ti=O (R = iPr, SiMe3, SiMe2Ph), has been accomplished by deoxygenation of styrene oxide by the corresponding sandwich compound. One example, (eta5-C5Me4SiMe2Ph)2Ti=O, was characterized by X-ray diffraction. All three complexes undergo clean and facile hydrogenation at 23 degrees C, yielding the titanocene hydroxy hydride complexes (eta5-C5Me4R)2Ti(OH)H. For (eta5-C5Me4SiMe3)2Ti=O, the kinetics of hydrogenation were first-order in dihydrogen and exhibited a normal, primary kinetic isotope effect of 2.7(3) at 23 degrees C consistent with a 1,2-addition pathway. Isotope effects of the same direction but smaller magnitudes were determined for silane addition.  相似文献

The reaction of Rh(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(3) with the surface hydroxyl groups of partially dehydroxylated silica leads to the formation of the surface organometallic complex (&tbd1;SiO)(&tbd1;SiOX)Rh(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(2), 1 (where X is H or Si&tbd1;), with evolution of propene. The reaction of 1 with PMe(3) was examined, and two major pathways were discovered. Reductive elimination of two allyl ligands as 1,5-hexadiene and coordination of PMe(3) give the surface product (&tbd1;SiO)Rh(PMe(3))(3), 2, which was characterized by elemental analysis, IR and (31)P MAS NMR spectroscopy. We also prepared 2 independently from CH(3)Rh(PMe(3))(3) and partially dehydroxylated silica. The second major reaction pathway is the elimination of propene to give (&tbd1;SiO)(2)Rh(eta(1)-C(3)H(5))(PMe(3))(3), 3. The presence of the sigma-bound allyl ligand was inferred from its characteristic IR spectrum. The reactivity of 3 toward CO was examined: insertion of CO into the Rh-C bond followed by reductive elimination of the silyl ester &tbd1;SiOC(O)C(3)H(5) produces (&tbd1;SiO)Rh(CO)(PMe(3))(2), 4. In static vacuum, 3 decomposes to give allyl alcohol, which is slowly decarbonylated by 2.  相似文献

The reaction of [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))ZrF(3)] and [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))HfF(3)] with Me(3)SiOCOCF(3) yields the dinuclear complexes [{(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))ZrF(OCOCF(3))(2)}(2)] (1) and [{(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))HfF(OCOCF(3))(2)}(2)] (2), regardless of the molar ratio employed. [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)ZrF(2)] reacts with 1 and 2 equiv of Me(3)SiOCOCF(3) to form the mononuclear compounds [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)Zr(OCOCF(3))(2)] (3) and [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)ZrF(OCOCF(3))] (4), respectively. The molecular structures of 1 and 3 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis: 1, triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 9.508(3) ?, b = 11.002(4) ?, c = 17.528(3) ?, alpha = 78.55(4), beta = 76.80(2), gamma = 87.51(2) degrees, V = 1750(1) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.0378; 3, monoclinic, C2/c, a = 18.553(4) ?, b = 9.110(2) ?, c = 16.323(3) ?, beta = 114.88(3) degrees, V = 2503(1) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.0457. Compound 1 shows bridging bidentate and chelating carboxylate ligands as well as bridging fluorine atoms. The zirconium atoms are seven coordinated and have an 18-electron configuration. Tantalum complexes [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NMe(2))=CH)py}] (4) and [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NH(2))=CH)py}] (5), which contain modified alkoxide pincer ligands, were synthesized from the reactions of [TaCp*Me{κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCH)py}] (Cp* = η(5)-C(5)Me(5)) with HC≡CCH(2)NMe(2) and HC≡CCH(2)NH(2), respectively. The reactions of [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(Ph)=CH)py}] (2) and [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(SiMe(3))=CH)py}] (3) with triflic acid (1:2 molar ratio) rendered the corresponding bis-triflate derivatives [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(Ph)=CH(2))py}] (6) and [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(SiMe(3))=CH(2))py}] (7), respectively. Complex 4 reacted with triflic acid in a 1:2 molar ratio to selectively yield the water-soluble cationic complex [TaCp*(OTf){κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH)py}]OTf (8). Compound 8 reacted with water to afford the hydrolyzed complex [TaCp*(OH)(H(2)O){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH(2))py}](OTf)(2) (9). Protonation of compound 8 with triflic acid gave the new tantalum compound [TaCp*(OTf){κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(HOCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH)py}](OTf)(2) (10), which afforded the corresponding protonolysis derivative [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(HOCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH(2))py}](OTf) (11) in solution. Complex 8 reacted with CNtBu and potassium 2-isocyanoacetate to give the corresponding iminoacyl derivatives 12 and 13, respectively. The molecular structures of complexes 5, 7, and 10 were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Syntheses and properties of group-4 complexes incorporating the tridentate, dianionic ligand N,N-(dipyrrolyl-alpha-methyl)-N-methylamine, dpma, have been investigated. Addition of 1 equiv of H(2)dpma to Ti(NMe(2))(4) and Zr(NMe(2))(4) results in transamination with 2 dimethylamides providing Ti(NMe(2))(2)(dpma) and Zr(NMe(2))(2)(NHMe(2))(dpma), respectively. Addition of 2 equiv of H(2)dpma to Zr(NMe(2))(4) and Hf(NMe(2))(4) results in production of the homoleptic complexes Zr(dpma)(2) and Hf(dpma)(2). Conversely, treatment of Ti(NMe(2))(4) with 2 equiv of H(2)dpma does not provide Ti(dpma)(2), which was available by addition of 2 Li(2)dpma to TiCl(4). The properties of the isostructural series M(dpma)(2) were investigated by single crystal X-ray diffraction, cyclic voltammetry, (14)N NMR, and other techniques. By (14)N NMR, it was found that the pyrrolyl resonance chemical shift changes approximately linearly with the electronegativity of the metal center, which was attributed to pi-interaction between the pyrrolyl nitrogen lone pair and the metal. Other complexes produced during this study include Ti(CH(2)SiMe(3))(NMe(2))(dpma), TiCl(2)(THF)(dpma), and Ti(OCH(2)CF(3))(2)(THF)(dpma). Two isomers for Ti(CH(2)SiMe(3))(NMe(2))(dpma) were isolated and characterized.  相似文献

The reactions of elemental indium and In(I)Br with the carbonyl-free organonickel complexes (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PR(3))Ni-Br (R = CH(3), C(6)H(5)) have been studied in some detail. Either redox reactions to yield the ionic products [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PR(3))(2)Ni][InBr(4)] (2a,b) occurred or the Ni-In bound systems (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni-InBr(2)(OPPh(3)) (3a) and [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni](2)InBr (4) were obtained in good yields. The new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, and mass spectrometry. A short Ni-In bond of 244.65(9) pm was found for 3a. Single crystal data for (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni-InBr(2)(OPPh(3)).THF (3a): triclinic, P1 with a = 1124.9(3), b = 1353.2(4), c = 1476.4(4) pm, alpha = 94.74(2) degrees, beta = 101.78(2) degrees, gamma = 109.64(1) degrees, V = 2044(1) x 10(6) pm(3), Z = 2, R = 0.053 (R(w) = 0.063).  相似文献

Treatment of [[Ti(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(micro-NH)](3)(micro(3)-N)] (1) with the imido complexes [Ti(NAr)Cl(2)(py)(3)] (Ar=2,4,6-C(6)H(2)Me(3)) and [Ti(NtBu)Cl(2)(py)(3)] in toluene affords the single azatitanocubanes [[Cl(2)(ArN)Ti]( micro(3)-NH)(3)[Ti(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(3)(micro(3)-N)]].(C(7)H(8)) (2.C(7)H(8)) and [[Cl(2)Ti](micro(3)-N)(2)(micro(3)-NH)[Ti(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(3)(micro(3)-N)]] (3), respectively. Similar reactions of complex 1 with the niobium and tantalum imido derivatives [[M(NtBu)(NHtBu)Cl(2)(NH(2)tBu)](2)] (M=Nb, Ta) in toluene give the single azaheterometallocubanes [[Cl(2)(tBuN)M](micro(3)-N)(micro(3)-NH)(2)[Ti(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(3)(micro(3)-N)]] (M=Nb (4), Ta (5)), both complexes react with 2,4,6-trimethylaniline to yield the analogous species [[Cl(2)(ArN)M](micro(3)-N)(micro(3)-NH)(2)[Ti(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(3)(micro(3)-N)]].(C(7)H(8)) (Ar=2,4,6-C(6)H(2)Me(3), M=Nb (6.C(7)H(8)), Ta (7.C(7)H(8))). Also the azaheterodicubanes [M[micro(3)-N)(2)(micro(3)-NH)](2)[Ti(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(3)(micro(3)-N)](2)].2C(7)H(8) [M=Ti (8.2C(7)H(8)), Zr (9.2C(7)H(8))], and [M[(micro(3)-N)(5)(micro(3)-NH)][Ti(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(3)(micro(3)-N)](2)].2 C(7)H(8) (Nb (10.2C(7)H(8)), Ta (11.2C(7)H(8))) were prepared from 1 and the homoleptic dimethylamido complex [M(NMe(2))(x)] (x=4, M=Ti, Zr; x=5, M=Nb, Ta) in toluene at 150 degrees C. X-ray crystal structure determinations were performed for 6 and 10, which revealed a cube- and double-cube-type core, respectively. For complexes 2 and 4-7 we observed and studied by DNMR a rotation or trigonal-twist of the organometallic ligands [[Ti(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(micro-NH)](3)(micro(3)-N)] (1) and [(micro(3)-N)(micro(3)-NH)(2)[Ti(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(3)(micro(3)-N)]](1-). Density functional theory calculations were carried out on model complexes of 2, 3, and 8 to establish and understand their structures.  相似文献

The syntheses of the ionic compounds [Li(+).2 dioxane (2,6-iPr(2)C(6)H(3)N(SiMe(3))Al(C triplebond CSiMe(3))(3))(-)].0.75 dioxane (1), [(Li(+))(2).(dioxane)(7)](0.5) [2,6-iPr(2)C(6)H(3)N(SiMe(3))Ga(C triplebond CSiMe(3))(3)(-)].1.5 dioxane (2), and [(Li(+))(2).(dioxane)(7)](0.5) [2,6-iPr(2)C(6)H(3)N(SiMe(3))In(C triplebond CSiMe(3))(3)(-)].1.5 dioxane (3) by the reaction of the corresponding organo metal chloride with LiC triplebond CSiMe(3) are reported. The neutral ethynyl compounds Br-Al(C triplebond CtBu)(2).2 THF (4), Cl-Ga(C triplebond CtBu)(2).THF (5), Cl-In(C triplebond CtBu)(2).2 THF (6), Al(C triplebond CtBu)(3).C[N(Me)CMe](2) (7), Ga(C triplebond CtBu)(3).dioxane (8), and In(C triplebond CtBu)(3).NEt(3) (9) have been obtained in good yields from the reaction of AlBr(3), GaCl(3), and InCl(3) with LiC triplebond CtBu in the presence of a Lewis base. Compound 7 is the first heterocyclic carbene substituted ethynyl derivative. Aluminum and gallium compounds with three terminal ethynyl groups Al(C triplebond CPh)(3).NMe(3) (10) and Ga(C triplebond CPh)(3).NMe(3) (11) have been prepared by the reaction of AlH(3).NMe(3) or GaH(3).NMe(3) with three equivalents of phenylethyne. All the above-mentioned compounds have been structurally studied. In compound 1 the lithium ion is coordinated to the three terminal ethynyl groups, whereas in compounds 2 and 3 the lithium is coordinated to the solvent (dioxane). Compound 8 crystallizes as a coordination polymer with dioxane molecules bridging the individual gallium units.  相似文献
