塑性诱导裂纹闭合是导致裂纹闭合发生的主要机理之一.利用弹塑性有限元法模拟含中心裂纹矩形板试件的疲劳裂纹扩展,并确定疲劳裂纹张开、闭合应力水平.通过计算,考察应力比R、裂纹长度、最大应力强度因子Kmax等对疲劳裂纹张开闭合应力的影响规律.论文阐述了所采用的裂纹扩展模拟方法及确定裂纹张开和闭合应力的原理.采用了等K加载方式,即在裂纹扩展中裂尖应力强度因子的最大值Kmax保持不变(给定R比,最大应力σmax随裂纹长度变化).分析了两种Kmax水平下R比分别为0.3,0,-0.5和-1.0共8种载荷工况.结果表明,对各个载荷工况,用瞬时最大应力σmax正则化的裂纹张开、闭合应力水平σop/σmax和σcl/σmax与裂纹长度无关.等K循环加载比等幅循环加载更有利于分析影响裂纹闭合水平的因素和闭合效应对疲劳裂纹扩展的影响规律,为建立基于裂纹闭合效应的疲劳裂纹扩展规律模型提供了一种新的思路.  相似文献

基于数字散斑相关方法测定Ⅰ型裂纹应力强度因子   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
提出了一种通过数字散斑相关方法测定金属材料Ⅰ型裂纹尖端位置和应力强度因子的实验方法.实验采用疲劳试验机对含Ⅰ型缺口的Cr12MoV钢试件预制裂纹,通过数字散斑相关方法测试试件在三点弯曲加载条件下裂纹的扩展过程及裂尖区域的位移场.将位移场数据代入裂尖位移场方程组,采用牛顿-拉普森方法求解含未知参量的裂尖非线性位移场方程组,计算裂尖位置和应力强度因子.实验结果表明,采用该方法可以准确地测定金属材料Ⅰ型裂纹应力强度因子、裂尖位置及裂纹扩展长度,解决了以往研究中因不能准确测定裂纹尖端位置,而无法准确计算Ⅰ型裂纹裂尖断裂参数的难题,揭示了金属材料裂纹扩展过程中应力强度因子演化特征.  相似文献

随机超载对疲劳裂纹扩展迟滞效应的模拟   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
考虑超载的迟滞效应,对随机超载作用下的疲劳裂纹扩展进行了模拟计算.载荷谱为在基本恒幅循环载荷基础上加入一以泊松流发生的随机超载序列,超载的大小为均匀分布.采用裂纹闭合模型考虑超载的迟滞效应,认为裂纹张开应力在超载引起的塑性区内按线性规律衰减.循环续循环模拟计算出裂纹从初始长度一直到疲劳破坏的扩展曲线.据此,计算了各种超载发生强度和大小下的疲劳裂纹扩展寿命的平均值与标准差。  相似文献

在车轮循环滚动接触载荷作用下,钢轨接触表面裂纹问题频发,严重威胁高速列车运行安全,开展钢轨表面三维滚动接触疲劳裂纹扩展分析意义重大.首先,考虑不同初始裂纹角度,建立钢轨轨头含初始裂纹的三维有限元模型,对钢轨表面施加循环滚动接触载荷,进行轮轨滚动接触计算;然后,基于相互作用积分法计算裂纹前缘的应力强度因子;最后,采用最大周向应力准则和Paris公式计算当前状态下裂纹扩展方向和扩展速率,进而更新下一时刻的裂纹形状和尺寸.通过对上述过程重复实现,从而预测钢轨表面三维裂纹的扩展路径.加载过程中裂纹前缘应力强度因子计算结果表明,随着初始裂纹角度增加,K的峰值逐渐减小,K的峰值逐渐增大,裂纹前缘各位置的等效应力强度因子逐渐减小;裂纹前缘节点的位置越靠近钢轨表面,等效应力强度因子越大.疲劳裂纹扩展计算结果表明,随着循环次数的增加,不同初始角度下的裂纹都发生了偏折,逐渐朝着钢轨深度方向扩展,且裂纹的初始角度越大,发生扩展时需要的循环次数越多.对比三种初始裂纹角度下裂纹长度随循环次数的演化曲线可以发现,初始裂纹角度越小,裂纹扩展速率越大.所开发的方法也适用...  相似文献

针对疲劳载荷造成的不同应力比和频率对船舶与海洋结构中裂纹扩展速率的影响,本文在分析了疲劳裂纹扩展速率几种经验公式的基础上,考虑了不同应力比与不同加载频率的疲劳载荷作用对直线裂纹和弯曲裂纹扩展速率的影响,提出了相应的计算公式;并与经验公式和现有实验数据进行了比较,验证了所提公式的正确性,研究结果可以直接应用于对不同频率、应力比条件下疲劳裂纹扩展速率的预测。结果表明:在同等应力强度因子变化幅值条件下,疲劳裂纹扩展速率随着疲劳载荷应力比和加载频率的增大而增大,在第一阶段增加比较缓慢、在第二和第三阶段增加非常迅速。本文给出的新型Irving公式适用于疲劳载荷作用下线弹性直线、弯曲裂纹扩展的第一、第二、第三阶段,计算结果比原Irving公式的结果更接近实验数据。该新型Irving公式更具有实用性和准确性。  相似文献

复合型裂纹的扩展路径不同于Ⅰ型裂纹,会沿着与初始裂纹面不同的方向扩展,扩展路径的准确预测对扩展速率的评估具有重要的作用。采用最大周向应力准则和最小应变能密度准则进行扩展路径的预测时,开裂角的误差会使裂纹不断偏离实际路径,造成最终结果的较大偏差。本文将复合裂纹在扩展过程中的弯折裂纹简化为直线裂纹,对简化过程中所产生的误差进行定量分析,并在此基础上提出了一种描述复合型裂纹扩展路径的等效修正模型。将此模型写入ABAQUS扩展有限元模块,实现了基于等效修正模型的疲劳裂纹扩展程序。通过对含中心斜裂纹板的疲劳裂纹扩展试验,验证了本模型的有效性,预测的开裂角与试验结果基本一致,所得到的载荷循环次数低于试验值,对含裂纹结构的寿命评估偏于保守。  相似文献

针对含I-II型复合裂纹的紧凑拉伸剪切(CTS)试样,研究了不同加载角度下的裂纹扩展路径及裂纹扩展寿命,通过实验数据给出了适宜于CTS试样的等效应力强度因子关系式,并基于此提出了一种新的I-II型复合裂纹扩展模型。研究表明,CTS试样的裂纹沿与加载方向近垂直的方向扩展,基于Tanaka公式的等效应力强度因子更适合于本文CTS试件的裂纹扩展寿命评估。当加载角度处于0°~45°之间时,提出的复合型裂纹扩展模型预测误差控制在5.49%之内,验证了分析模型的可行性和准确性。  相似文献

裂纹闭合效应通常是导致I 型裂纹扩展在高载作用下发生迟滞效应的主要因素之一.本文采用汽车薄板QSTE340TM 材料,针对不同应力比,高载比条件下疲劳裂纹扩展行为进行了实验研究.论文通过断面分析,针对各参数对裂纹闭合效应的具体影响进行了分析讨论,认为裂纹作用区域随裂纹扩展而动态变化,从而提出了一种对有效应力强度因子幅的修正方法.通过在原有模型中引入幂函数形式的动态变量α,表征裂纹闭合效应的作用比例随裂纹长度的动态变化,取得了较好的效果.  相似文献

MESHLESS METHOD FOR 2D MIXED-MODE CRACK PROPAGATION BASED ON VORONOI CELL   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A meshless method integrated with linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) is presented for 2D mixed-mode crack propagation analysis. The domain is divided automatically into sub-domains based on Voronoi cells, which are used for quadrature for the potential energy. The continuous crack propagation is simulated with an incremental crack-extension method which assumes a piecewise linear discretization of the unknown crack path. For each increment of the crack extension, the meshless method is applied to carry out a stress analysis of the cracked structure. The J-integral, which can be decomposed into mode I and mode II for mixed-mode crack, is used for the evaluation of the stress intensity factors (SIFs). The crack-propagation direction, predicted on an incremental basis, is computed by a criterion defined in terms of the SIFs. The flowchart of the proposed procedure is presented and two numerical problems are analyzed with this method. The meshless results agree well with the experimental ones, which validates the accuracy and efficiency of the method.  相似文献

Electric-field-induced fatigue crack growth in pre-cracked PZT ferroelectric ceramics is experimentally investigated in this work. It is found that the crack open and close under an alternating electric field is a major mechanism of crack propagation. The experimental results also show that the frequency, waveform, as well as the amplitude ratio, of the electric loading, play important roles in electric-field-induced fatigue cracking. Empirical formulations of fatigue crack propagation rates are obtained based on the experimental results. It is revealed that the crack grows at a nearly constant rate when the loading frequency is below 100 Hz. However, with the increase of the loading frequency over 125 Hz, the crack propagation rate diminishes rapidly.  相似文献

In the present work the fatigue crack growth in AISI304 specimens is investigated experimentally. In 3D finite element analysis the virtual crack closure technique is applied to calculate distributions and variations of the stress intensity factor along the surface crack front. It is confirmed that the stress intensity factor along the surface crack front varies non-uniformly with crack growth. Crack growth rate is proportional to the stress intensity factor distribution in the 3D cracked specimen. The fatigue crack growth in surface cracked specimens can be described by the Forman model identified in conventional compact tension specimens. For crack growth in the free specimen surface the arc length seems more suitable to quantify crack progress. Geometry and loading configuration of the surface cracked specimen seem to not affect the fatigue crack growth substantially.  相似文献

采用四步法计算了考虑循环载荷中压应力影响的正交异性钢桥面板的肋-面板焊缝表面裂纹扩展。第一步是基于正交异性钢桥面板的疲劳分析模型,计算肋-面板焊缝处的应力,第二步是通过肋-面板焊缝的三维局部模型,用Schwartz-Neumann交替法计算焊缝表面裂纹的应力强度因子分布,第三步是用二维断裂力学模型和增量塑性损伤模型,计算循环载荷中的压应力对裂纹扩展的影响,第四步是用第二步中的三维裂纹分析结果和第三步中的二维断裂力学模型得到的裂纹扩展公式,计算钢桥面板的肋-面板焊缝表面裂纹扩展。计算结果表明,对应于正交异性钢桥面板肋-面板焊缝处的循环应力,本文所用模型的裂纹尖端反向塑性区导致裂纹扩展率增加50%以上。研究结果为正交异性钢桥面板肋-面板焊缝裂纹的疲劳寿命分析提供了研究基础。  相似文献

In this paper, a circumferential external surface flaw in a metallic round pipe under cyclic bending loading is considered. Because of very rapid changes in the geometrical parameters around the crack front region, the mesh generation of this region must be done with great care. This may lead to an increase in the run time which makes it difficult to reach valid results and conclusions. Because of the advantages of the sub-modeling technique in problems which need very high mesh density, this method is used. Stress intensity factors in mode I condition are determined using three-dimensional finite element modeling with 20 node iso-parametric brick elements in the ANSYS 9.0 standard code and the singular form of these finite elements at the crack front. In order to estimate the analysis error, the structural parameter error in energy norm criterion was used. Because of the advantages of non-dimensional analysis, this method is employed, and the stress intensity factors are normalized. For the analysis of the fatigue crack growth, the Paris law is used. The propagation path of the surface flaw is obtained from the diagram of aspect ratio versus relative crack depth. The fatigue crack growth analysis (the relative crack depth against loading cycles diagram) of different initial crack aspect ratio under cyclic loading is also considered. Fatigue shape development of initially semi-elliptical external surface defects is illustrated. The effect of the Paris exponent (material constant) on fatigue crack propagation is shown as well. Moreover, the fatigue crack growth of several specimens is assessed experimentally using a manually-constructed experimental set up. Finally, the experimental results obtained by cyclic bending loading tests are compared with the numerical results. The experimental results show good conformity with the finite element results.  相似文献

Crack propagation under alternating loading is investigated. Relations between the growth rate of a fatigue defect and loading parameters and the expression for the stress intensity factor are derived for compression of a cracked solid taking into account the possible contact of the crack faces. A model for the deformation of a small region near the crack tip is proposed which allows one to formulate the conditions of residual opening of a growing fatigue crack. In this study, the finite element modeling of the compact tension shear specimens has been used to evaluate the effects of overloading on fatigue crack growth with mixed-mode loading I+II. Element creation and modeling is done by CASCA software. FRANC2D was used for stress analysis and the determination of crack parameters. Life estimation of samples was done by using the software ETBX. To create the mixed-mode I+II, different loading angles of 0, 15, 45 and 75 degrees (with respect to normal direction to the crack surface) were used with various overloading ratios. The effects of residual stresses due to overloading with saving and restoring capabilities were considered as a separate loading. To confirm the modeling results, models were built with ABAQUS and also compared with the results of numerical and experimental data in the literature. There are good agreements in determining the path of the crack growth and life estimation. The effects of the loading direction, overloading ratio and its load ratio, combination of overloadings and their locations on the fatigue crack growth and life are investigated.  相似文献
