针对某些精密设备在运输过程中的颠簸、倾斜等问题,设计了一种采用液压缸驱动方式的水平稳定平台,并对该平台进行了结构、运动学分析,计算出了机构运动的自由度,建立了运动学数学模型,使用Matlab软件对机构进行了仿真计算,为伺服液压缸的设计计算提供了依据.通过对工作空间的分析,得出了稳定平台的工作空间范围.仿真结果表明,该稳定平台不存在干涉现象.

Syndromes of psychosis and nonpsychosis: Factor analysis of a systems analysis.

Factor analyzed the ratings of 924 psychotic and nonpsychotic patients on the Boston City Hospital-Behavior Checklist, a 100-item behavior rating scale derived from a recent systems analysis of traditional psychiatric diagnostic procedures. The Biomedical Computer Program BMDX72 was used to factor the matrix of intercorrelations, with 13 factors being defined by an oblique rotation. Discussion of results centers on the degree to which the present factors define dimensions of psychopathology similar to those defined by other analyses of symptom data. The value of factor analysis as a means of assessing the validity of traditional psychiatric syndromes is also discussed. (24 ref.) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)     

Quantitative analysis of gel electrophoretograms by image analysis and least squares modeling

A computer-aided quantitative method for a complex analysis of gel electrophoretograms is presented. The analysis consists of several steps: (i) determination of the background image by methods of mathematical morphology and its subtraction from the gel image, (ii) selection of an appropriate part of the gel lane including curved lanes and lanes with a nonuniform width, (iii) computation of the lane densitogram by averaging several lane-parallel scans, (iv) decomposition of the lane densitogram into component bands using a data selecting algorithm and Marquardt's minimizer. Several different functions for component bands are utilized. It is shown that the densitogram can be decomposed into component bands with reasonable accuracy only if an appropriate model function is chosen. The algorithms are tested on several different gel electrophoretograms which show typical features as a nonuniform background, curved lanes, an asymmetrical band shape and a superposition of small bands on the shoulders of big ones. It is shown that overlapped bands are best approximated by an asymmetrical Gausian curve and an asymmetrical Gauss-Cauchy function. Linear response to the serial dilution of the protein sample is tested.     

Definitions and levels of analysis.

Presents concerns with the article by D. M. Buss et al (see record 1998-01669-001). The present author states his main concern as being the suggestion by Buss et al that S. J. Gould (see record 1992-11754-001) was inconsistent in his usage of the term "exaptation," and that his stated definitions seem to require these effects to be biological. Additionally, the author takes issue with the suggestion by Buss et al that Gould used the term to "cover novel but functionless uses or consequences of existing characteristics," and offers his own interpretation of Gould's research. 煤气和烟气的快速分析

为了快速准确地分析冶金企业的煤气和烟气中的成分，用一台气相色谱仪，采用热导池鉴定器和有效的分子筛分析柱以及相应的工作温度，分离气体中不同的成分。根据峰值计算各种元素的化学成分，分析结果的重现性好，相对误差仅为1．5％。     

X-ray and conformational analysis of arabinan

Fibers prepared from the enzymically debranched plant polysaccharide arabinan, containing (1-->5)-linked alpha-L-arabinofuranose residues, produce X-ray diffraction patterns containing concentric rings indicative of a high degree of structural organization. The measured unit cell dimensions and fiber density are consistent with a 2-fold helix passing through each unit cell. According to model-building techniques and energy calculations, a total of seven molecular structures (three with C2'-endo and four with C3'-endo sugars), all of pitch 8.74 A, and hence seven different crystal-packing arrangements are the most probable. While intrachain hydrogen bonds are only present in three cases, interhelix association is facilitated by hydrogen bonds in all allomorphs. Small energy differences between them suggest that easy conformational transitions may be made from one form to another. This polymorphism and the tendency to form microcrystals in the solid state might confer upon arabinan the observed fat mimetic properties.     

Applying behavior analysis to clinical problems: review and analysis of habit reversal

This article provides a review and analysis of habit reversal, a multicomponent procedure developed by Azrin and Nunn (1973, 1974) for the treatment of nervous habits, tics, and stuttering. The article starts with a discussion of the behaviors treated with habit reversal, behavioral covariation among habits, and functional analysis and assessment of habits. Research on habit reversal and simplified versions of the procedure is then described. Next the article discusses the limitations of habit reversal and the evidence for its generality. The article concludes with an analysis of the behavioral processes involved in habit reversal and suggestions for future research.     

Dimensionality of an early childhood scale using rasch analysis and confirmatory factor analysis

This paper explores the use of Rasch analysis and linear confirmatory factor analysis as methods for investigating the dimensionality of an early childhood test (Gesell School Readiness Screening Test), taking into account the theoretical basis of test construction. The paper presents the results of empirical analyses using both approaches and discusses the theoretical and psychometric considerations that guide the selection and application of each technique.     

Morphological and biochemical characterization and analysis of apoptosis

Apoptosis is a form of programmed cell death serving physiologic and homeostatic functions. However, recent evidence implicating apoptosis in the etiology and pathophysiology of known human diseases, such as heart diseases, cancer, AIDS, and neurodegenerative and autoimmune diseases are continually surfacing. This has spawned the need for identifying which methods are the most effective and well accepted to decipher its presence in a variety of research settings. We have therefore detailed the morphology and biochemical features of apoptotic cell death, with an emphasis on discriminating it from necrosis. In addition, we describe specific and selective techniques which are optimal to target hallmark apoptotic features, such as microscopy, Annexin V labeling, in situ nick-end labeling (TUNEL), and DNA fragmentation analysis by gel electrophoresis and ELISA for oligonucleosome-sized DNA. The advantages and disadvantages of each technique are discussed, as well as their experimental importance relative to one another. The methods have been described in a stepwise fashion, and can readily be applied in the majority of cell systems. Whether working on the tissue or single cell level, these methods are highly effective in qualifying and quantifying apoptosis. The application of these methods in conjunction with molecular techniques can further delineate the underlying mechanisms of apoptosis.

Cytogenetic and ploidy analysis of prostatic adenocarcinoma

The cytogenetic evaluation of prostatic adenocarcinoma has shown no consistent cytogenetic abnormalities. Despite manipulation of culture conditions, the majority of low-stage, untreated prostatic adenocarcinomas show a normal karyotype. We have performed cytogenetic analysis on eight primary prostate adenocarcinomas, using several control measures to increase the probability that any normal karyotype was derived from neoplastic cells rather than accompanying normal cells. Tumors were grown in media that encourages epithelial growth; DNA ploidy studies were performed before and after tissue culture; and immunohistochemical confirmation of the prostatic and epithelial nature of the cells was done following culture. Percentage of tumor on tissue sections adjacent to those submitted for culture was > 75% in all cases. Seven of eight cases were evaluable, and six cases showed no clonal abnormalities and were diploid. One tumor showed a population of tetraploid cells, without structural abnormalities. Three additional tumors showed evidence of tetraploidy by DNA analysis. One case showed nonclonal marker chromosomes and was aneuploid. This patient was pathologic Stage D. We conclude that the majority of prostatic adenocarcinomas at their inception may not show routinely detectable cytogenetic abnormalities. However, tetraploidy may play a role in the evolution of prostatic adenocarcinoma.
