The Penning trap is one of the most important experimental devices in the field of nuclear physics, and measures atomic masses with the highest precision in the world. Many such devices are currently in operation, with more being designed and constructed. To start the experimental study of atomic masses with very high precision in China, the Lanzhou Penning Trap (LPT) is being constructed at the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The development, characteristics and emittance of the Penning discharge ion source used in the Cosmotron injector are described. The maximum value of brightness reported is 3 × 1012 mA cm-2 rad-2 at 78 mA total current, 23 keV beam energy. The results are superior to recent values for duoplasmatrons from various laboratories, except for total current. 相似文献

The ion source described in this contribution allows the production of considerable ion beam intensities of highly charged ions. The electron density is increased by an additional electron gun. The decrease-of the ratio of neighbouring charge states is similar to the decrease of the ratio of the ionization cross sections by electron impact from which one event ionization processes are assumed to be of major importance in the performance of this source. 相似文献

重离子治癌加速器高速实时数据传输系统研制 总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
分析了重离子治癌专用加速器对部分同步数据和过程数据的传输要求,提出并实现了一种高速率、可纠错、远距离的实时数据传输系统,以提高加速器同步和控制的效率和可靠性。系统优化了传统系统的硬件配置和布局。采用PXI、FPGA、SDRAM与远距离千兆光纤模块相结合的系统构架,替代了原数据传输过程中低速、近距离、抗干扰性不强的数据通路和处理器件。软件上,通过对两片FPGA的编程,在系统后端实现了PXI接口和DMA相结合的方式与加速器服务器进行数据交互;在系统前端实现了800 MHz载波100 MHz基带信号的实时、远程、高速串行帧传输。通过该数据传输系统,保证新加速器系统的同步事例、电源波形等实时数据在服务器和远端控制器之间的高效传输。 相似文献

液态金属钠冷决快堆电站蒸汽发生器的钠泄漏会导致钠水反应和氢的产生。因此,钠中微量氢的探测是判断汽发生器中是否存在钠泄漏的重要手段,是确保快堆电站安全运行的关键问题之一。清华大学液态金属技术研究室建立了服务于钠中微量氢探测的氢计钠回路。为了准确测量 ,需要确保回路中的纯度,尤其是氢的含量应加以严格控制。在氢计的钠回路中,利用钠温降低后,钠中杂质含量降低的原理,达到去除中杂质的目的。 相似文献

Based on the essential theory of Penning gases,the discharge characteristics of He-Ar Penning gases in insulating tubes were analyzed qualitatively.The relation between the effective length of an antenna column filled with He-Ar Penning gases and the applied radio frequency (RF) power was investigated both theoretically and experimentally.The distribution of the plasma density along the antenna column in different conditions was studied.The receiving characteristics of local frequency modulated (FM) electromagnetic waves by the plasma antenna filled with He-Ar Penning gases were compared with those by an aluminum antenna with the same dimensions.Results show that it is feasible to take plasma antennas filled with He-Ar Penning gases as receiving antennas. 相似文献

Progress on longitudinal plasma confinement by ambipolar barriers (plugs) and on suppression of transverse anomalous plasma losses in a solenoid are noted. Paschen law and equations, which ignore the influence of the Penning ionization on the electron ionization coefficient (α), are always used as the approximation of the breakdown voltage criterion of the Penning gas mixture in current researches of discharge characteristics of the plasma display panel (PDP). It is doubtful that whether their results match the facts. Based on the Townsend gas self-sustaining discharge condition and the chemical kinetics analysis of the Penning gas mixture discharging in PDP, the empirical equation to describe the breakdown of the Penning gas mixture is given. It is used to calculate the breakdown voltage curves of Ne-Xe/MgO and Ne-Ar/MgO in a testing macroscopic discharge cell of AC-PDP. The effective secondary electron emission coefficients (γeff) of the MgO protective layers are derived by comparing the breakdown voltage curves obtained from the empirical equation with the experimental data of breakdown voltages. In comparison with the results calculated by the Paschen law and the equation which ignore the influence of the Penning ionization on α , the results calculated by the empirical equation have better conformity with experimental data. The empirical equation characterizes the breakdown of the Penning gas mixture in PDP effectively, and gives a convenient way to study its breakdown characteristics and the secondary electron emission behaviors. 相似文献
