Power dividers are inevitable components in most microwave systems. Well known topologies like Wilkinson power divider are widely studied in the literature. An “all 50 ohm power divider” is another topology presented in the some works. In this study, an all 50 ohm structure is taken as the basis and a compact-easy to implement modification the power divider is proposed. A sample structure is designed, implemented and measured to prove the topology. The decreased sensitivity to production tolerances is demonstrated by various design modifications. Comparisons with well-known topologies are given for reference.  相似文献

An effective design procedure based on method of least squares is proposed for multi-section and multi-output fork power divider/combiner with arbitrary power division ratios among its outputs in a specified frequency bandwidth together with impedance matching among its arbitrary source/load impedances. Transmission and scattering matrices are obtained for its equivalent circuit. An error function is constructed based on design specifications on its output power division ratios, isolations among output ports, return losses at its input and output ports and source/load impedances in a desired frequency bandwidth. The design procedure is fully developed, which determines the widths and lengths of microstrip line sections and resistor values. A design example is described for unequal power division ratio and unequal input/output impedances. A 3-section and 3-output fork power divider is designed for equal power division and load/source impedances for 2–12 GHz band. It is fabricated and measured. Variations of its transmission coefficients are less than 0.5 dB, isolations at its outputs are better than −15 dB and reflection coefficients at its ports are better than −10 dB. Excellent agreement is observed among the results of the proposed design procedure, full wave computer software and measurement data.  相似文献

This paper reports on a procedure based on the use of artificial neural networks (ANN) to fully model the performance of advanced high electron mobility transistors (HEMT) operating down to cryogenic temperatures. By means of this procedure, we reproduce the DC behaviour and the scattering (S-) parameters of the device under test (DUT). The I-V curves and the S-parameters of the DUT have been compared with measurements, and a good agreement has been found for assessing the capability of the ANN structure to predict the full behaviour of the DUT. Furthermore, we have analysed in detail the performance of two typical parameters of HEMT's, namely the transconductance and the output conductance. Their values have been derived from measured data and have been compared with those obtained by the ANN approach. Both the simulated DC and RF performance have shown an accuracy degree adequate to model the device properties down to cryogenic temperatures.  相似文献

A novel /spl pi/-bridged photonic bandgap (PBG) power/ground planes is proposed with ultra-broadband suppression of the ground bounce noise(GBN) in the high-speed printed circuit boards. The S-parameters of the proposed low-period structures show that the novel uniplanar compact photonic bandgap (UC-PBG) structures could omni-directionally suppress the GBN in RF/analog circuits and digital circuits. The high omnidirectionally suppressions of the GBN for the proposed structure are validated both experimentally and numerically in the noise bandwidth from 300MHz to 6GHz, almost the whole noise band.  相似文献

为了实现高密度的天线集成,通常会将多个天线单元紧密排列,因此需要设计连接各个单元的收发馈电网络。应用收发一体功分器级联成收发馈电网络,收发一体功分器在设计时就采用多层结构,并考虑网络层叠的影响,可以确保发射和接收互不干扰。此外,采用通孔结构,并将电阻置于底部可以降低加工难度和成本。应用该方法设计了一种收发一体双8路的馈电网络,在工作频带内,测试的反射系数小于-22 dB,隔离度高于61 dB,各个通道间的幅度一致性小于0.2 dB,相位一致性小于2.3°。该方法可缩短设计周期,提高研发效率,而且设计的馈电网络具有高隔离和低成本等优点,可用于平板阵列天线中。  相似文献

The theory and design aspects of n-way in-phase power divider employing Goldfarb recombinant topology are described. The merits of this divider over conventional ones are also presented here. A microstrip version of five output port power divider is designed and developed with 1.7?mm Bakelite substrate to operate in S-band. 本文设计了一个功耗低、结构紧凑的吞吐脉冲式多模分频器电路。为了节省功耗,除2/3双模预分频器中的一个D触发器受模式控制信号MC的控制,在特定模式下能自动关闭。可编程计数器和吞吐脉冲计数器中的D触发器共享以构成紧凑的结构进一步减小功耗。所设计的多模分频器采用标准65nmCMOS工艺实现,面积为28umX22um.当工作频率为988MHz时,1.2V电源电压下的分频器功耗为0.6mW。  相似文献

For the purpose of generating a quasi-plane wave and realizing small-antenna pattern measurements in the 12 GHz band, a planar-waveguide array antenna consisting of 45 WRJ-120 rectangular waveguides with 57 longitudinal slots on the broad wall of each waveguide is fabricated and tested. The dimensions of the antenna are about 1100 mm×1300 mm×850 mm, including the waveguide-supporting frame, the feed network, and the antenna-supporting pedestal. As an example, the H-plane pattern measurement of a small pyramidal horn antenna is conducted in a small chamber at 12 GHz. 提出了一种新颖的小型平面超宽带天线。该天线由矩形微带天线的基本结构演变而来,为获得超宽带频率特性,设计时辐射单元下端采用了渐变结构,金属底板使用缺陷地结构。对天线的反射系数、方向图及增益进行了仿真计算和优化设计,实测结果为:天线的工作频段为3.1~13.0 GHz(S11<-10 dB),增益大于1 dB,具有良好的超宽带特性和全向辐射特性。  相似文献

A compact bandpass filter with dumbbell shape Defected Ground Structure (DGS) operating on ultra wide pass band (UWB – 3.1 to 10.6 GHz) is proposed. It is based on hybrid microstrip coplanar waveguide (dual sided metal) structure. A Multiple Resonant Structure (MRS) is constructed using coplanar waveguide (CPW) planar transmission line. The MRS makes the resonance using quarter wavelength and half wavelength open-ended CPW. The equispaced three resonances at lower (3.1 GHz), center (6.85 GHz) and higher edge (10.6 GHz) of the whole Ultra Wide Band is achieved using CPW MRS. To make the band as flat as possible, two more resonances are introduced using quarter wavelength microstrip patches on top of the commonly shared substrate, so the proposed filter becomes a five pole bandpass filter. A dumbbell shaped defected ground structure on either side of CPW MRS improves the return loss almost less than 20 dB over the whole UWB passband. The simulated results of proposed filter show good transmission response within passband and good rejection in out of the band. The simulated and measured results are very close to each other which proves the efficacy of proposed design.  相似文献

The ground plane affects the characteristics of a planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) significantly. Using the idea of the high-impedance surface to construct the ground plane, a new type of compact PIFA with a photonic bandgap type (PBG-type) ground plane is proposed. Both the traditional PIFA and the proposed antenna are analyzed using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method in detail. It is found that the two antennas have similar directivity pattern characteristics, but the size of the latter can be reduced obviously. The results also show that the bandwidth of a traditional PIFA is not greatly affected by the thickness of the metallic ground plane and that the shapes of the directivity patterns are not greatly affected by the ground plane under the small size condition. The operating-frequency band of the proposed antenna can be adjusted by changing the dielectric substrate thickness of the ground plane. They are suitable for mobile communication applications.  相似文献

提出了一种平面结构的L波段三路功率合成器,通过两节三路四分之一波长阻抗变换器与平面隔离电阻构成的微带电路实现。合成器使用仿真软件优化计算结果并得到最终设计。测试结果与仿真结果吻合:在1.1GHz至1.7GHz带宽内,各个端口驻波比小于1.13;输入端口间隔离度大于25dB;合成效率大于94.5%且最大幅度不平坦度小于0.05dB。这种功率合成器结构紧凑,性能达到设计要求。  相似文献

A millimeter-wave waveguide-based out-of-phase power divider/combiner using microstrip patch antenna has been proposed in this paper. The stepped rectangular waveguide provides smooth impedance matching from standard rectangular waveguide to oversized rectangular waveguide. In order to obtain good amplitude balance, four symmetrical microstrip patch antennas are utilized. A Ka-band four-way passive power combiner is designed and measured. The measured results show a reasonable agreement with the simulated ones.  相似文献
