PtRu nanoparticles were supported on multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs), which were further fabricated as an electrode for nonenzymatic glucose sensing. Transmission electron microscope and X‐ray diffraction patterns were used for characterization of the PtRu nanoparticles on MWNTs. Cyclic voltammetry and chronopotentiometry were applied to investigate the performance of the PtRu/MWNTs nanocomposite electrode for nonenzymatic oxidation of glucose. The PtRu/MWNTs electrode shows high electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of glucose in 0.1 M NaOH solution and thus can be used to selectively detect glucose. Under the optimal potential (+0.55 V vs. Ag/AgCl), the biosensor effectively performs a selective electrochemical analysis of glucose in the presence of common interferents, such as ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DP) and uric acid (UA). Wide linear calibration ranging from 1 mM to 15 mM, high sensitivity of 28.26 μA cm?2 mM?1, low detection limit of 2.5×10?5 M, and fast response time of 10 s were achieved for the detection of glucose at the PtRu/MWNTs electrode.  相似文献

A nonenzymatic amperometric sensor for sensitive and selective detection of glucose has been constructed by using highly dispersed Pt nanoparticles supported onto mesoporous carbons (MCs). The Pt nanoparticles/mesoporous carbons (Pt/MCs) composites modified electrode displayed high electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of glucose. At an applied potential of 0.1 V, the Pt/MCs electrode has a linear dependence (R=0.996) in the glucose concentration up to 7.5 mM with a sensitivity of 8.52 mA M?1 cm?2. The Pt/MCs electrode has also shown highly resistant toward poisoning by chloride ions and without interference from the oxidation of common interfering species.  相似文献

In this communication, an amperometric glucose biosensor based on MnO2/MWNTs electrode was reported. MnO2 was homogeneously coated on vertically aligned MWNTs by electrodeposition. The MnO2/MWNTs electrode displayed high electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of glucose in alkaline solution, showing about 0.30 V negative shift in peak potential with oxidation starting at ca. −0.20 V (vs. 3 M KCl–Ag/AgCl) as compared with bare MWNTs electrode. At an applied potential of +0.30 V, the MnO2/MWNTs electrode gives a linear dependence (R = 0.995) in the glucose concentration up to 28 mM with a sensitivity of 33.19 μA mM−1. Meanwhile, the MnO2/MWNTs electrode is also highly resistant toward poisoning by chloride ions. In addition, interference from the oxidation of common interfering species such as ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid is effectively avoided. The MnO2/MWNTs electrode allows highly sensitive, low-potential, stable, and fast amperometric sensing of glucose, which is promising for the development of nonenzymatic glucose sensor.  相似文献

Platinum (Pt) nanoparticles were deposited at the surface of well-aligned multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) by potential cycling between +0.50 and −0.70 V at a scanning rate of 50 mV · s−1 in 5 mM Na2PtCl6 solution containing 0.1 M NaCl. The electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol at the nanocomposites of Pt nanoparticles/nanotubes (Ptnano/MWNTs) has been investigated using 0.2 M H2SO4 as supporting electrolyte. The effects of various parameters, such as Pt loading, concentration of methanol, medium temperature as well as the stability of Ptnano/MWNTs electrode, have been studied. Compared to glassy carbon electrode, carbon nanotube electrode significantly enhances the catalytic efficiency of Pt nanoparticles for methanol oxidation. This improvement in performance is due not only to the high surface area and the fast electron transfer rate of nanotubes but also to the highly dispersed Pt nanoparticles as electrocatalysts at the tips and the sidewalls of nanotubes.  相似文献

A novel nonenzymatic glucose sensor was developed based on well‐dispersed gold nanoparticles, which were in situ grown under direction of protein on a reduced graphene oxide modified electrode. This electrode exhibited high electrocatalytic activity towards glucose oxidation without use of any enzyme or mediator. In application for the amperometric detection of glucose, a wide linear range of 0.02–16.6 mM, low detection limit of 5 µM and good selectivity were obtained. The attractive analytical performances of the proposed glucose sensor, coupled with the facile preparation method, provide a promising electrochemical platform for the development of effective nonenzymatic sensors.  相似文献

Supported nickel nanoparticles with high dispersion have been prepared by partial reduction of NiAl‐layered double hydroxide (NiAl‐LDH) precursors, which exhibit significant electrocatalytic behavior towards glucose. XRD and XPS results confirm that the nickel nanoparticles are successfully synthesized. TEM images reveal that the nickel nanoparticles are highly dispersed in the NiAl‐LDH matrix with a size of 6±0.3 nm. The resulting nanocomposite modified electrode displays significant electrocatalytic performance to glucose with a broad linear response range (8.0×10?5–2.0×10?3 M), low detection limit (3.6 µM), high sensitivity (339.2 µA/mM), selectivity and excellent reproducibility as well as repeatability.  相似文献

The electrocatalytic and analytical ability to glucose on a highly dispersed Pt nanoparticles supported on active carbon (Pt/C) modified electrode was investigated. The Pt/C nanocomposite was synthesized using a microwave method. The structural characterization and surface morphology of the prepared Pt/C nanocomposite was examined using X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersive X-ray, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The results show that the Pt nanoparticles with 3–10 nm in diameter are well dispersed on the surface of active carbon. The electrocatalytic and analytical ability of Pt nanoparticles supported on active carbon modified electrode (Pt/C/GCE) was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperommetry. The Pt/C/GCE exhibits strong electrocatalytic activity to the glucose oxidation. Under optimal conditions, the Pt/C/GCE performed a current response towards glucose oxidation at a broad concentration range from 0.05 to 11.95 mM. Two linear regions could be observed at 0.05 to 3.5 mM with a sensitivity of 1.29 μA mM–1 cm–2 and at 3.5 to 11.95 mM with a sensitivity of 0.85 μA mM–1 cm–2, respectively. The Pt/C/GCE exhibits sufficient sensitivity and abilities of anti-interference.  相似文献

Platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) were deposited onto multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) through direct chemical reduction without any other stabilizing agents. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and cyclic voltammetry were employed to characterize the morphology of the as-prepared nanocomposite (noted as Pt NPs-MWNTs) and further identify the Pt NPs on the surface of MWNTs. The nanocomposite demonstrated the ability to electrocatalyze the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide and substantially raises the response current. A sensitivity of 591.33 μA mM−1 cm−2 was obtained at Pt NPs-MWNTs modified electrode. Thus, we immobilized glucose oxidase (GOD) as a model enzyme on the nanocomposite-based electrode with a thin layer of Nafion to fabricate a glucose biosensor, which showed sensitive and fast response to glucose. The influence of the GOD loading was investigated and the biosensor with an enzyme loading concentration of 10 mg/mL shows optimal performance for glucose detection, that is, a detection limit of 3 μM and a response time of 3 s, respectively.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with nickel(II) hydroxide nanoparticles and a film of molybdenum sulfide. The nanocomposite was prepared by two-step electrodeposition. Scanning electron microscopy reveals that the nanoparticles are uniformly deposited on the film. Cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry indicate that this modified GCE displays a remarkable electrocatalytic activity towards nonenzymatic oxidation of glucose. Response is linear in the 10–1,300 μM concentration range (R 2 ?=?0.9987), the detection limit is very low (5.8 μM), response is rapid (< 2 s), and selectivity over ascorbic acid, dopamine, uric acid, fructose and galactose is very good.

Novel copper‐palladium nanoparticles modified glassy carbon electrodes (Cu−Pd/GC) with enhanced nonenzymatic sensing for glucose were facilely prepared by one‐step electrodeposition. The structure and composition of the prepared nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and EDS, respectively. The electrode modified process was characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometric experiments were used to evaluate the electrocatalytic activities of the electrodes toward glucose. The surface morphology and the electrocatalytic activities of Cu−Pd/GC was compared to Pd and Cu nanoparticles modified glassy carbon electrodes (Pd/GC and Cu/GC), respectively. Thanks to homogeneous distribution of Cu−Pd nanoparticles and the synergistic effect of Cu and Pd atoms, Cu−Pd/GC exhibited the highest sensitivity (298 μA mM−1 cm−2) and the widest linear amperometric response (0.01 mM to 9.6 mM, R2=0.996) toward glucose compared to Pd/GC and Cu/GC. The detection limit of Cu−Pd/GC was 0.32 μM (S/N=3). In addition, the as‐prepared Cu−Pd/GC glucose sensor also exhibited exceptional capabilities of anti‐interference, reproducibility and long‐term stability. The as‐prepared sensor was also evaluated for determination of glucose concentration in human blood serum samples, which exhibited high reliability and accuracy, having great potential in clinical application.  相似文献

A new method to electro-deposit platinum nanoparticles on the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) functionalized with 4-mercaptobenzene has been described. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results reveal that 4-mercaptobenzene was attached to the surface of MWNTs. Transmission electron microscope and X-ray diffraction analysis confirm that platinum nanoparticles were highly dispersed on the surface of MWNTs, and the average size of the platinum particle is 4.2 nm. The electrocatalytic properties of the Pt/MWNT composite electrode for methanol oxidation were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, and the results show that the fabricated composites exhibit high catalytic activity and good long-term stability. The study provides a feasible approach to fabricate Pt/MWNT composite electrode for direct methanol fuel cell.  相似文献

Abstract

A new nanocomposite was developed by combination of prussian blue (PB) nanoparticles and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) in the matrix of biopolymer chitosan (CHIT). The PB and MWNTs had a synergistic electrocatalytic effect toward the reduction of hydrogen peroxide. The CHIT/MWNTs/PB nanocomposite‐modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode could amplify the reduction current of hydrogen peroxide by ~35 times compared with that of CHIT/MWNTs/GC electrode and reduce the response time from ~60 s for CHIT/PB/GC to 3 s. Besides, the CHIT/MWNTs/PB nanocomposite‐modified GC electrode could reduce hydrogen peroxide at a much lower applied potential and inhibit the responses of interferents such as ascorbic acid (AA) uric acid (UA) and acetaminophen (AC). With glucose oxidase (GOx) as an enzyme model, a new glucose biosensor was fabricated. The biosensor exhibited excellent sensitivity (the detection limit is down to 2.5 µM), fast response time (less than 5 s), wide linear range (from 4 µM to 2 mM), and good selection.  相似文献

Platinum (Pt) nanoparticles were electrochemically deposited on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) through a three-step process, including an electrochemical treatment of MWCNT, electro-oxidation of PtCl4 2− to Pt(IV) complex, and an electro-conversion of Pt(0) on MWCNT. The effect of formation conditions for Pt(IV) complexes on the Pt nanoparticals transformed was investigated. The structure and elemental composition of the resulting Pt/MWCNT electrode were characterized by transmission electron micrograph (TEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The electrocatalytic properties of the resulting Pt/MWCNT electrode for methanol oxidation have been investigated. The high electrocatalytic activity and good stability of Pt/MWCNT electrode may be attributed to the high dispersion of platinum nanoparticles and the particular properties of the MWCNT supports.  相似文献

Hollow carbonaceous composites (HCCs) possessing sphere and hemisphere shape, which had wide size distribution between several tens of nanometers and several micrometers, were prepared through a facile hydrothermal method using glucose as carbon source with the assistance of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). Pyrolysis of these hollow carbonaceous composites at 900 °C under nitrogen flow produced carbonized hollow carbon spheres (HCSs) without changing their structures. Platinum (Pt) was directly deposited on the surface of the HCSs by incipient wet method, using the NaBH4 as the reductant. TEM, SEM, powder XRD and FT-IR were utilized to characterize all these samples. It was found that Pt nanoparticles were uniformly anchored on the outer and the inner surface of HCSs. The electrocatalytic properties of the Pt/HCS electrode for methanol oxidation have been investigated through cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The Pt/HCS electrode showed significantly higher electrocatalytic activity and more stability for methanol oxidation compared with Pt supported carbon microspheres (Pt/CMs) and commercial carbon (Pt/XC-72) electrode. The excellent performance for the Pt/HCS might be attributed to the high dispersion of platinum catalysts and the particular hollow structure of HCSs.

结果表明,与Au/AN或Pt/AN电极相比,Pt/Au/AN电极对葡萄糖氧化表现出优越的电催化活性。

This work reports on a novel nonenzymatic amperometric glucose sensor based on the ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC). Amperometric method was used to evaluate the electrocatalytic activity of the OMC modified electrode toward nonenzymatic glucose in alkaline media in presence and absence of chloride ions. The results indicated that OMC showed electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of glucose in alkaline solution. The resulting biosensor exhibited excellent performance for glucose determination with high sensitivity of 10.81 μA/mM and a low detection limit of 0.02 mM. The OMC modified electrode is also to resistant the interference from common interfering substances such as ascorbic acid, dopamine and uric acid.  相似文献

Commercially available copper foam (CF) was used as a 3D porous electrochemical sensing platform for nonenzymatic glucose detection. CF shows high electrocatalytic activity towards glucose oxidation and can be used directly for glucose electrochemical sensing without any pretreatment. The sensor exhibits high performance towards glucose in 0.1 M NaOH solution with the linear range from 1 μM to 0.5 mM, the sensitivity of 5.85 mA mM?1 cm?2 and the detection limit of 0.5 μM (S/N=3) simultaneously. Furthermore, the sensor shows a high selectivity for glucose against the common interferences and good reliability for glucose detection in human serum samples.  相似文献

Titanium‐supported nanoscale flaky nickel electrode (nanoNi/Ti) was prepared by a hydrothermal process using hydrazine hydrate as a reduction agent. Its electrocatalytic activity as an electrocatalyst for the electrooxidation of glucose was evaluated in alkaline solutions using cyclic voltammetry (CV), chronoamperometric responses (CA) and electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS). The nanoNi/Ti electrode exhibits significantly high current density of glucose oxidation. A high catalytic rate constant of 1.67×106 cm3 mol?1 s?1 was calculated from amperometric responses on the nanoNi/Ti electrode. Low charge transfer resistances on the nanoNi/Ti in 0.5 M NaOH containing various concentrations of glucose were obtained according to the analysis for EIS. Furthermore, amperometric data show a linear dependence of the current density for glucose oxidation upon glucose concentration in the range of 0.05–0.6 mM with a sensitivity of 7.32 mA cm?2 mM?1. A detection limit of 0.0012 mM (1.2 μM) M glucose was found. Results show that the prepared nanoNi/Ti electrode presents high electrocatalytic activity for glucose oxidation.  相似文献

An amperometric biosensor for sensitive and selective detection of glucose has been constructed by using highly dispersed Pt nanoparticles supported on carbon nanotubes (Pt-MWCNTs) as sensing interface. The Pt-MWCNTs were synthesized by using the two-step pyrolysis method. This composite shows good electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of glucose in alkaline and thus can be used to selectively detect glucose. We found that detection potential and Nafion amount covered on the Pt-MWCNTs modified glassy carbon electrode had considerable influence on the selectivity for amperometric detection of glucose. Under optimal detection conditions (detection potential of 0.0 V versus SCE and 10 μL 1.5% Nafion), selective detection of glucose in the glucose concentration range of 1.0-26.5 mM (correlation coefficient, >0.999) can be performed. The results demonstrate that the Pt-MWCNTs composite is promising for the fabrication of nonenzymatic glucose sensors.  相似文献
