使用子域边界元法对受移动接触弹性体作用下的二维闭合裂纹问题进行了数值计算。由于两弹性体的接触界面和裂纹表面的接触范围的大小和接触状态事先是未知的 ,对此 ,在两个接触表面同时采用迭代的方法进行了求解。在裂纹的每个裂尖上都采用了四分之一的奇异单元以保证裂尖位移场和应力场奇异性的满足。用我们编制的二维裂纹问题程序对一些中心裂纹问题进行了计算 ,计算结果与经典断裂力学的理论值比较吻合。在无摩擦的条件下 ,对一些具有不同角度且受移动接触弹性体作用下的闭合裂纹问题进行了数值计算 ,得到了一些耦合作用下的应力强度因子的计算结果  相似文献

本文用边界元法对销钉接触角及销钉孔半径对三种电流输入方式下紧凑拉伸试样的电位函数影响进行了分析。结果证明,人们在电位法测试中常用的电流输入方式容易引起误差,并非最佳方案.最佳方案是另一种同样方便的电流输入方式.  相似文献

This paper presents an extension of a boundary element method to fatigue growth analysis of mixed-mode cracked plane elastic bodies. The method consists of the non-singular displacement discontinuity element presented by Crouch and Starfield and the crack-tip displacement discontinuity element due to the author. In the boundary element implementation the left or the right crack-tip element is placed locally at the corresponding left or right crack tip on top of non-singular displacement discontinuity elements that cover the entire crack surface and the other boundaries. Crack growth is simulated with an incremental crack extension analysis based on the modified maximum strain energy density criterion. In numerical simulation, for each increment of crack extension, remeshing of existing boundaries is not required because of an intrinsic feature of the boundary element method. Crack growth is simulated by adding new boundary elements on the incremental crack extension to the previous crack boundaries. At the same time, the element characters of some related elements are adjusted according to the manner in which the boundary element method is implemented. Some numerical results of fatigue growth in a plane elastic plate with a center-inclined crack under uniaxial cyclic loading are given.  相似文献

By using a complex function method in this paper, the complex form of J-integral of mixed mode crack tip for unidirectional plate of linear-elastic orthotropic composites is obtained first by substituting crack tip stresses and displacements into general formula of J-integral. And then, the path-independence of this J-integral is proved. Finally, the computing formula of this J-integral is derived. As special examples, the complex forms, path-independence and computing formulae of J-integrals of mode Ⅰ and mode Ⅱ crack tips for unidirectional plate of linear-elastic orthotropic composites are given.  相似文献

Low cycle fatigue crack propagation (FCP) behavior of two PC/ABS blends with a weight ratio of PC to ABS being 80/20 and 60/40, respectively, is investigated. Experiments are carried out by using standard compact tension (CT) specimens. The fracture surfaces are examined with a scanning electron microscope (SEM). It is shown that the FCP resistance of PC/ABS blend with 20% ABS particles is higher than that of PC/ABS blend with 40% ABS particles. It is found that proper ABS particle content can result in the toughening of PC/ABS blends through particle cavitation and shear yielding in matrix. 构造了一种适合边界元分析裂纹问题的三角形单元,该单元中的形函数包含两部分,主要部分用于捕捉裂纹尖端上位移分布的陡峭特性(性质),另一部分为常规的拟合函数,体现裂纹尖端位置附近的物理量在其他方向上的连续分布。形函数主要部分的构造充分利用了已有理论研究获得的结论,在裂纹表面,随着距离远离尖端,位移分布与■函数保持同阶变化。在传统形函数的基础上,通过先乘以一项同阶于■的变量项,再在系数中将其在形函数所在点上的值除去,便得到新型的用于拟合裂纹尖端附近位移和面力分布的形函数。新的形函数能够满足形函数的delta性质,但归一性不再满足,因此,新的形函数只用于物理量的拟合,而几何量的拟合依然采用传统方案。通过对偶边界元方法计算裂纹尖端的张开位移后,利用一种位移外插方法计算获得应力强度因子。数值算例关注了一种无限域内的圆盘裂纹,应用新构造的三角形单元于对偶边界元中计算结构在受到斜拉力时裂纹尖端的三种应力强度因子。通过与参考解进行对比,验证了该插值方案用于对偶边界元分析裂纹问题时的正确性和高精度。  相似文献

In this study, the fatigue crack propagation behavior in the stress interaction field between two different fatigue cracks is studied by experiment and finite element analysis. In the experiment, the offset distance between two cracks and the applied stress are varied to create different stress interaction fields. The size of the plastic zone area is used to examine the crack propagation path and rate. Three types of crack propagation in the interaction field were found by experiment, and the crack propagation behavior of two cracks was significantly changed as different stresses were applied. The size of the plastic zone obtained by finite element analysis can be used to explain crack propagation behavior qualitatively.  相似文献

Gears of different sizes and with different systems of loading are indispensable components of machines and devices. When optimizing such gear assemblies, on of the most important parameters is their required service life. To calculate the service life as precisely and reliably as possible, researchers need to use the required mathematical models for describing loading, the geometry, properties of materials and fracture mechanics parameters. The accuracy and reliability of the gear model assemblies can be compared only with appropriate experimental results. To this end, the authors have used and developed a series of methods and test pieces. A comparison of results has shown that the models and approaches are adequate.  相似文献

结合广义有限元法(GFEM)和扩展有限元法(XFEM)的特点,提出了一种新的数值方法——广义扩展有限元法(GXFEM)。阐述了广义扩展有限元法的基本原理,对相关公式进行推导,探讨数值实施中需注意的重要问题,给出利用广义扩展有限元法进行断裂分析时应力强度因子的计算方法,编写了广义扩展有限元法程序。通过算例进行了应力强度因子的计算,模拟了结构裂纹的扩展过程。算例结果表明,利用广义扩展有限元法计算裂纹扩展问题,不需要进行过密的网格划分,且网格在裂纹扩展后无需重新剖分,具有相当高的计算精度。  相似文献

There are three types of cracks: impermeable crack, permeable crack and conducting crack, with different electric boundary conditions on faces of cracks in piezoelectric ceramics, which poses difficulties in the analysis of piezoelectric fracture problems. In this paper, in contrast to our previous FEM formulation, the numerical analysis is based on the used of exact electric boundary conditions at the crack faces, thus the common assumption of electric impermeability in the FEM analysis is avoided. The crack behavior and elasto-electric fields near a crack tip in a PZT-5 piezoelectric ceramic under mechanical, electrical and coupled mechanical-electrical loads with different electric boundary conditions on crack faces are investigated. It is found that the dielectric medium between the crack faces will reduce the singularity of stress and electric displacement. Furthermore, when the permittivity of the dielectric medium in the crack gap is of the same order as that of the piezoelectric ceramic, the crack becomes a conducting crack, the applied electric field has no effect on the crack propagation. The conservation law of J-integral in two-media with a crack paralleling to the interface of the two media was firstly proved by analytical and numerical finite element method. Then a schedule model was established that an interface crack is inserted in four media. According to the J-integral conservation law on multi-media, the energy release ratio of Ⅰ-type crack was considered to be conservation when the middle medium layers are very thin. And the conservation law was also convinced by numerical method. By means of the dimension analysis on the model, the asymptotic results and formula calculating the energy release ratio and complex stress intensity factor are presented.  相似文献

The relation between J-integral near model I crack tip in the orthotropic plate and displacement derivative is derived in this paper. Meanwhile, the relation between stress intensity factor K I and displacement is also given in this paper. With sticking film moire interferometry method, the three-point bending beam is tested, thus the values of J-integral and K I can be obtained from the displacement field, and then the truth of relation formula between J-integral and K I in the orthotropic composite materials is experimentally verified.  相似文献

A model is proposed to correlate the crack growth rate and stress ratio containing very high cycle fatigue regime. The model is verified by the experimental data in literature. Then a formula is derived for the effect of mean stress on fatigue strength, and it is used to estimate the fatigue strength of a bearing steel in very high cycle fatigue regime at different stress ratios. 采用边界元法(BEM )求解实际工程问题时,很大一部分误差来自于离散误差。为此,本文基于Lagrange插值原理,提出了一种三维等参管单元边界元算法,该单元能很好地模拟管状结构的几何外形并对物理量进行高阶插值,大大地消除了离散误差。另外,当在边界元法中使用等参管单元时,提出了一种在等参平面内消除积分奇异性的方法。算例表明,本文算法具有划分网格少,求解精度高的优点。  相似文献

基于多边形比例边界有限元模拟了重力坝裂缝扩展过程,综合考虑了坝-库水-地基相互作用、裂缝面接触和缝水压力的影响。其中该接触模型能够有效防止裂缝面的相互嵌入;该缝水模型除能考虑裂缝面开合速度、缝隙宽度和水流形态对缝水压力分布的影响,还可基于连续性条件模拟缝内水体流动和空化的现象。以Koyna坝裂缝扩展为例,研究了裂缝面接触条件和缝水压力对计算结果的影响。结果显示,考虑接触的影响,震损较为严重。而与假定为常水压力分布的情况相比,实际的缝水压力分布形式对结果影响较为复杂。在裂缝张开时,减小了裂缝扩展的可能,而在裂缝闭合时正好与之相反。  相似文献

Summary This paper deals with the calculation of the J-integral for electrically limited permeable cracks in piezoelectrics. The electromechanical J-integral is extended to account for electrical crack surface charge densities representing electric fields inside the crack. To avoid the costly implementation of the line integral along the crack faces, an alternative is proposed replacing the line integral by a simple jump term across the crack faces. Previous work by other authors related to the same subject is critically illuminated. The derivation was inspired by the Dugdale- Barenblatt cohesive zone model and yields an expression containing solely the local jump of displacements and electric potentials across the crack faces. This approach is shown to be exact for the Griffth crack.Numerical examples give evidence that the simplified approach works well for arbitrary crack configurations too.  相似文献

The fatigue failure of a thin infinite center-cracked plate under completely reversed uniaxial loading is considered. A two-stage fatigue crack model including the incubation and crack propagation stages is constructed. The stress distribution in the vicinity of the crack tip is described using the concept of a conventional elastic crack. The crack-tip plastic zone is simulated by a Dugdale thin plastic zone, and the condition for the movement of the failure front is given by criteria of damage mechanics. It is shown that the fatigue crack growth rate in perfectly plastic materials with a plastic zone of constant length is a power-law function of the stress intensity factor range.
