The quality and delivery performance of a typical company depends largely on the capability of its suppliers. It is therefore important for a company to evaluate the performance of its existing suppliers. However, the problem of supplier evaluation is rather complex when a group of decision makers responsible for these suppliers are geographically dispersed. Evaluating decisions requiring the elicitation of vague and imprecise linguistic information expressed in fuzzy terms. For this purpose, a hybrid fuzzy group decision-making approach for supplier evaluation is proposed, integrating the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (F-AHP) and the fuzzy preference-ranking-organization-method-for-enrichment-of-evaluation (PROMETHEE) group decision support system (F-PROMETHEE GDSS) method. F-AHP is used to determine the weight of multiple criteria while F-PROMETHEE GDSS is applied for the final ranking of suppliers from a group decision viewpoint. The approach advances the supplier evaluation context in two aspects. First, it treats each decision maker uniquely in terms of the preference function and threshold levels. Second, it provides rapid communication between teams through video conferencing. The hybrid approach is used to evaluate the suppliers of a dairy company. 相似文献

Plant location selection, the process of finding a suitable location for plant of a project has a strong influence on the success of industrial venture with the goal to minimize cost and maximize the use of resources. Thus, plant location selection problem is a multicriteria decision-making problem involving several conflicting criteria on which decision makers' knowledge is vague and imprecise. Therefore, in this study, the elimination and choice translating reality (ELECTRE) method is proposed with intuitionistic fuzzy sets for selection of appropriate plant location in group decision-making environment to tackle uncertainty of the information provided by decision makers and a plant location selection problem is considered to illustrate the proposed intuitionistic fuzzy-ELECTRE method. The ratings of alternatives with respect to each criterion and the weights of each criterion are taken as linguistic terms further characterized by triangular intuitionistic fuzzy sets. 相似文献

分析了大规模定制模式下决策问题的协同性、科学性和快速响应需求,提出了面向大规模定制的群体智能决策支持系统,用以支持多决策者之间通过虚拟组织的形式开展迅速、科学、有效的群体决策。该系统采用B/S构架,由数据源、集成数据平台、应用服务层、网络通讯平台和用户接口5层结构组成。在数据库/数据仓库、模型库、方法库和知识库的基础上,开发了案例库系统、方法引导器、模型选择器和数据挖掘工具等人工智能部件,增强了系统的实用性和易用性。给出了使用该系统进行客户定制订单群决策的应用实例。 相似文献

The evaluation of employees’ performance is geared towards assessing individual’s contribution to the attainment of organizational goals. Performance appraisal (PA) is a key tool in an organization due to its potency to either make or mar such organization. Irregular standards for human resource PA, tribal sentiment, emotional status of assessors, and delay in appraisal processes among others are the key problems of the conventional methods of appraising employees’ performances in an organization. This research therefore proposes an online fuzzy based decision support system for human resource PA. The proposed system incorporates an efficient computational technique which handles the delays and bias associated with the orthodox performance appraisal system in organizations. The fuzzy inference system developed in this research uses Mamdani technique, Center of Gravity Defuzzification approach and takes as input the key attributes considered when appraising the performance of an employee. An experimental study of the proposed system was conducted using the dataset of academic staff. Standard statistical technique was used to measure the accuracy level of the System and the result shows that the proposed system has 0.78 probability (78%) of predicting accurately the appraisal status of an academic staff. 相似文献

This paper discusses planning and scheduling problems for efficient use of an FMS and presents an integrated decision support system for dealing with these problems.The decision support system, FMSDS (Flexible Manufacturing Systems Decision Support System), includes several modules: data handling module, part selection module, loading module, load adjusting module, scheduling module and simulation module.This paper suggests the solution methodology of each subproblem. Also, an integrated interface scheme between the subproblems is presented. The interface scheme considers the relationships between the subproblems and generates solutions using hierarchical and looping approaches.FMSDS is made up of six alternative models considering three loading objectives and two production order processing strategies. system that manages and optimizes the data, information and knowledge in the product development process. A knowledge structure
model is proposed in this paper, and a comprehensive set of expert knowledge and analytical/numerical methods are integrated
into the system to automate intelligent decision-making. Case studies have shown that the knowledge-based DSS is able to help
OKP companies develop new products more quickly by sharing optimization tools, information and knowledge to reduce possible

Tolerances play an important role in product fabrication and have a significant impact on manufacturing costs. The factors affecting manufacturing cost (geometry, material, etc.) of a part are fuzzy or subjective in nature since they have no appropriate numerical measure. This paper proposes a framework that overcomes the drawbacks of traditional tolerance control methods and reduces subjectivity via fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and conjoint analysis. In the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation process, the relationship between the machining costs and part tolerance is expressed through a mathematical formula, with the objective of minimizing the total machining cost. The conjoint analysis method is introduced to provide a systematic method of deciding weights for each of the factors in the tolerance allocation procedure. The application of the framework is demonstrated with practical engineering problems of allocating tolerances of an accumulator’s O-ring seal and a clutch assembly. 相似文献

Research carried out here describes order processing especially with constraints of due date at the customer enquiry stage in a highly competitive global market. It highlights problems faced by small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a make-to-order environment with particular reference to quality and speed of delivery at this critical stage. While commercial software such as manufacturing resource planning and enterprise resource planning can be used at this enquiry stage for SMEs, they may be unaffordable especially due to high maintenance running costs. This study recognizes this challenge facing SMEs during enquiry management and justifies the need that an effective decision support system (DSS) is crucial even if SMEs have some planning and control systems in place. A flow chart is presented to highlight the influence of negotiation on customer due dates to serve as a basis for forward or backward planning, and a case example illustrates the fundamental construction and applicability of the proposed DSS approach with a resultant profit maximization outcome if the strategy is carefully implemented. 相似文献
