Globally stable adaptive observer for systems of general-purpose industrial asynchronous electric drives

A structure and methods for the parametric synthesis of an adaptive observer that is formally stable in the entire plane of mechanical characteristics of the electric drive and enables one to identify the electric rotation frequency of the rotor, the support vector of flux linkage, and the active stator resistance are described. Results of modeling a general-purpose industrial electric drive with the developed identification algorithm are presented.     

一种异构系统间的通信平台的设计与实现

在各监控系统中同时存在着多种操作系统和多种通信方式,如Windows、Linux、Unix,串口通信、网口通信等。如何屏蔽操作系统以及通信方式的差异,使通信过程对上层用户透明,是重要的问题。文章提出了一种分层式的通信平台设计方法,即将通信平台分为通信底层和通信代理层。通过这种方法的使用可以将上层应用与底层通信分离开来,既能使上层应用关注其应用逻辑,又能高效、安全地实现跨平台的数据通信,使上层应用系统的通信更加方便,很好地解决了异构系统间的通信问题。     

A high‐voltage stimulation chip for wearable stroke rehabilitation systems

In this work, an 8‐channel high‐voltage (HV) stimulation chip for the rehabilitation of stroke patients through surface stimulation is presented. The chip receives control data through its serial peripheral interface and can be controlled by an external microcontroller. It can accordingly generate biphasic stimulation currents with different amplitudes, duration time, frequencies, and polarities for each channel independently. The chip was designed and fabricated using X‐FAB 0.35 µm HV mixed‐signal process. Circuits were carefully designed to ensure their operations under HVs. Our measurement results showed that a supply voltage of as high as 75 V can be achieved, and the current driver can generate biphasic stimuli with current amplitudes up to 4 mA. Hibernia: the next generation of offshore platform control systems

CIE-computer-integrated enterprise-technically best describes the Hibernia's new Grand Banks, Newfoundland, offshore drilling and production platform. Designed and constructed in an era of oil company belt-tightening, Hibernia takes advantage of modern technology to achieve the goal of a safe, cost-effective control system design. Some of the design criteria used in the control system design are discussed: system operability, training, safety, maintainability, constructability, expandability and integration, engineering/management information, and cost effectiveness. The main features of the control system are then described including: the process control system, fire and gas detection system, emergency control system, ECS/PCS process shutdown, electrical power management system, HVAC control system, drilling data acquisition system, and the engineering/management information system     

On the dependence between the amplitude and time parameters of pulse voltages in general-purpose power-supply systems

The existing regulatory requirements to assessment of the voltage pulses in general-purpose power-supply systems as a parameter of electric energy quality are considered. The attention is focused on the fact that GOST (State Standard) 32144-2013 recommends taking into account the statistics related to such characteristics when concluding contracts for electric-energy supply or transmission. The article presents the results of processing of the statistical material obtained using a special device for recording the impulse-voltage parameters. A stable correlation and regression dependence between these parameters has been established. It is shown that this dependence has an exponential character. A method of generating a test voltage pulse is proposed to test the actual resistance of consumers to impulse voltages arising in the power supply circuits.     

ACES: an interactive software platform for self-instruction and self-evaluation in automatic control systems

This paper presents an interactive-, menu-driven prototype software platform, namely automatic control educational software (ACES), for self-instruction and self-evaluation in automatic control systems. ACES is used for enriching instruction in automatic control at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The ACES platform includes theory with hyperlinks, a concept-graph, and a database with exercises. Students' answers to exercises are evaluated automatically "on-line." Furthermore, exercises can be proposed automatically by ACES. An instructor/supervisor can support in person the learning effort of a student, monitor the progress of a student, and, also, tailor a course's contents on the modular ACES platform. Two statistical hypothesis tests on both attitude questionnaires and student marks in the final (written) exam confirmed that the employment of ACES in the educational process can improve the performance of students in an automatic control course although the attitude of students toward the course does not change significantly with the use of ACES.     

一种可穿戴指间角度测量系统设计

针对人机交互的需求提出了一种可穿戴的指间角度测量系统。首先,基于弹簧片和应变片设计了可穿戴的指间角度传感器及其便携式测量电路,对指间角度的测量原理和传感器的测量电路进行了详细分析。其次,基于LabVIEW开发了测量系统的上位机软件,对指间角度传感器的数据进行滤波和角度解算,并采用图片分割旋转的方法实现了指间角度的可视化动态显示。最后,为验证系统的有效性进行了实验,结果表明,在0～30°测量范围内,设计的指间角度传感器的非线性误差为2.38%FS,迟滞误差为1.94%FS,重复性误差为5.29%FS,总精度为6.11%FS。     

电力系统智能图形支撑平台的研究

图形用户界面是电力系统应用软件不可缺少的一部分 ,为减少图形系统的重复开发 ,构建一个开放的图形支撑平台十分必要。文章以软件工程的设计思想为指导 ,对电力系统智能图形支撑平台应具有的功能和应遵循的设计原则进行了系统的分析和研究 ,提出了分层模型和图形数据分离等设计方法 ,使图形系统具有可重用性、开放性和可拓性。同时 ,对离线编辑和实时运行模式的不同要求进行了讨论。据此进行了图形系统的开发 ,取得了良好的效果

A general-purpose symbolically assisted numeric computation environment as a support in power engineering education

This paper describes and illustrates a Windows-based, general-purpose, symbolically assisted numeric computation environment within power engineering education applications. The examples considered include fundamental problems derived from three areas: power system analysis and optimization, electric machinery, and feedback control systems.     

基于BMD101可穿戴式心电监测系统设计

为实现便携式心电（ECG）监测,对一种基于BMD101芯片的实时ECG监测设备进行了设计与研究。在硬件上,通过器件对比选型、电路滤波和印制电路板模数分离设计,最大限度地降低功耗,抑制噪声干扰。另外针对可能残留的基线漂移、肌电噪声、工频干扰等常见噪声开发了去噪声算法。实验表明,所采集心电信号质量高,算法去噪效果良好,设备单次连续工作时长超过24小时,具有成本低、体积小、易操作的特点,工作状态稳定,为个人ECG监测提供了一套便携式设备。

用于分析现代电力系统中电力和通信耦合的分布式联合仿真平台

联合仿真存在仿真执行时间过长的问题,因此提出了一种分布式的联合仿真平台,该平台利用MATLAB的并行运算工具箱PCT以加快仿真运行。该分布式联合仿真平台包括图形用户界面、MATLAB工作站、控制器主机和OPNET主机4个部分,介绍了各部分的原理和功能,并且建立了2种不同的硬件平台以实现所提出的联合仿真方法。最后,分析和仿真了该联合仿真平台在微电网的控制中的应用。
