In this paper, we propose a dimensional splitting method for the three dimensional (3D) rotating Navier-Stokes equations. Assume that the domain is a channel bounded by two surfaces and is decomposed by a series of surfaces ■i into several sub-domains, which are called the layers of the flow. Every interface i between two sub-domains shares the same geometry. After establishing a semi-geodesic coordinate (S-coordinate) system based on ■i , Navier-Stoke equations in this coordinate can be expressed as the sum of two operators, of which one is called the membrane operator defined on the tangent space on ■i , another one is called the bending operator taking value in the normal space on ■i . Then the derivatives of velocity with respect to the normal direction of the surface are approximated by the Euler central difference, and an approximate form of Navier-Stokes equations on the surface ■i is obtained, which is called the two-dimensional three-component (2D-3C) Navier-Stokes equations on a two dimensional manifold. Solving these equations by alternate iteration, an approximate solution to the original 3D Navier-Stokes equations is obtained. In addition, the proof of the existence of solutions to 2D-3C Navier-Stokes equations is provided, and some approximate methods for solving 2D-3C Navier-Stokes equations are presented.  相似文献

We study initial boundary value (lBV) problem for a class of generalized Navier-Stokes equations in L^q([0, T); L^p(Ω)). Our main tools are regularity of analytic semigroup by Stokes operator and space-time estimates. As an application we can obtain some classical results of the Navier-Stokes equations such as global classical solution of 2-dimensional Navier-Stokes equation etc.  相似文献

In this paper, the geometrical design for the blade's surface in an impeller or for the profile of an aircraft, is modeled from the mathematical point of view by a boundary shape control problem for the Navier-Stokes equations. The objective function is the sum of a global dissipative function and the power of the fluid. The control variables are the geometry of the boundary and the state equations are the Navier-Stokes equations. The Euler-Lagrange equations of the optimal control problem are derived, which are an elliptic boundary value system of fourth order, coupled with the Navier-Stokes equations. The authors also prove the existence of the solution of the optimal control problem, the existence of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions, the weak continuity of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry shape of the blade's surface and the existence of solutions of the equations for the Gateaux derivative of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry of the boundary.  相似文献

This paper studies the incompressible limit and stability of global strong solutions to the threedimensional full compressible Navier-Stokes equations, where the initial data satisfy the "well-prepared" conditions and the velocity field and temperature enjoy the slip boundary condition and convective boundary condition, respectively. The uniform estimates with respect to both the Mach number ∈(0, ∈] and time t ∈ [0, ∞) are established by deriving a differential inequality with decay property, where ∈∈(0, 1] is a constant.As the Mach number vanishes, the global solution to full compressible Navier-Stokes equations converges to the one of isentropic incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in t ∈ [0, +∞). Moreover, we prove the exponentially asymptotic stability for the global solutions of both the compressible system and its limiting incompressible system.  相似文献

A constructive analytical procedure is described for generating a class of solutions pertaining to the fluid velocity field satisfying the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. Projection methods constitute a class of numerical methods for solving the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. These methods operate using a two-step procedure in which the zero-divergence constraint on the velocity is first relaxed while the velocity evolves, then after a certain period of time the resulting velocity field is projected onto a divergence-free subspace. Although these methods can be quite efficient, there have been certain concerns regarding their formulation. In this paper we show how a formal integration of the Navier-Stokes equations leads to a new and general procedure for the derivation of projection methods. By following this procedure, we show how each of three practical projection methods approximates a system of equations that is equivalent to the Navier-Stokes equations. We also show how the auxiliary boundary conditions required in projection methods are related to the physical boundary conditions. These results should allay the concerns regarding the legitimacy of projection methods, and may assist in their future development.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the mixed Legendre spectral-finite element approximation of the three-dimensional, non-periodic, unsteady Navier-Stokes equations. A class of fully discrete schemes are constructed with artificial compression. The generalized stability and convergence are proved strictly on the assumption that the two-dimensional inf-sup condition of the finite element approximation is satisfied.  相似文献

In this paper we consider some equations similar to Navier-Stokes equations, the three-dimensional Leray-alpha equations with space periodic boundary conditions. We establish the regularity of the equations by using the classical Faedo-Galerkin method. Our argument shows that there exist an unique weak solution and an unique strong solution for all the time for the Leray-alpha equations, furthermore, the strong solutions are analytic in time with values in the Gevrey class of functions (for the space variable). The relations between the Leray-alpha equations and the Navier-Stokes equations are also considered.  相似文献

For stochastic Navier-Stokes equations in a 3-dimensional bounded domain we first show that if the initial value is sufficiently regular, then martingale solutions are strong on a random time interval and we estimate its length. One considers boundary and Initial-boundary value problems for Navier-Stokes equations in domains with several “outlets” at infinity. It is shown that if one prescribes the limiting values of the pressure at infinity in those “outlets” which expand sufficiently fast, then these problems are solvable in the class of vectors with a finite Dirichlet integral.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to discuss the global existence and uniqueness of strong solution for a class of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations with non-Newtonian in one-dimensional bounded intervals. We prove two global existence results on strong solutions of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations. The first result shows only the existence, and the second one shows the existence and uniqueness result based on the first result, but the uniqueness requires some compatibility condition.  相似文献

In this paper we study a class of inequality problems for the stationary Navier-Stokes type operators related to the model of motion of a viscous incompressible fluid in a bounded domain. The equations are nonlinear Navier-Stokes ones for the velocity and pressure with nonstandard boundary conditions. We assume the nonslip boundary condition together with a Clarke subdifferential relation between the pressure and the normal components of the velocity. The existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the model are proved by using a surjectivity result for pseudomonotone maps. We also establish a result on the dependence of the solution set with respect to a locally Lipschitz superpotential appearing in the boundary condition.  相似文献

将Matthies,Skrzypacz和Tubiska的思想从线性的Oseen方程拓展到了非线性的Navier-Stokes方程,针对不可压缩的定常Navier-Stokes方程,提出了一种局部投影稳定化有限元方法.该方法既克服了对流占优,又绕开了inf-sup条件的限制.给出的局部投影空间既可以定义在两种不同网格上,又可以定义在相同网格上.与其他两级方法相比,定义在同一网格空间上的局部投影稳定化格式更紧凑.在同一网格上,除了给出需要bubble函数来增强的逼近空间外,还特别考虑了两种不需要用bubble函数来增强的新的空间.基于一种特殊的插值技巧,给出了稳定性分析和误差估计.最后,还列举了两个数值算例,进一步验证了理论结果的正确性.  相似文献

Solvability analysis of mixed boundary value problems for pseudoparabolic systems in a special scale of weighted Sobolev spaces is presented. The class under consideration contains the linearized Navier-Stokes system. It is proved that, choosing the power weight, one can diminish the number of solvability conditions and in some cases obtain unconditional solvability of the boundary value problems.  相似文献
