Perovskite type titanate phosphors Sr0.97−xDy0.03LixTi1−xNbxO3, Sr0.9−xDyxLi0.1Ti0.9Nb0.1O3 and Sr0.87−yDy0.03EuyLi0.1Ti0.9Nb0.1O3 were prepared by conventional solid state method. Herein, white light emission from Sr0.9−xDyxLi0.1Ti0.9Nb0.1O3 phosphors and the lowering of its color temperature through codoping with Eu3+ ions are reported. Raman measurements have shown that the incorporation of dopants alters the vibrational properties of these phosphors significantly, indicating the reduction of the local symmetry in the crystal lattice. The addition of LiNbO3 in SrTiO3:Dy3+ phosphor enhances the luminescence intensity and the yellow to blue ratio resulting in emission of high quality white light with color coordinates corresponding to that of standard white. Life time measurements and data fits of Sr0.9−xDyxLi0.1Ti0.9Nb0.1O3 phosphors revealed the biexponential behaviour of luminescence decay profiles. From Judd-Ofelt analysis it is found that the intensity parameter Ω2 increases with Dy3+ concentration and a quantum efficiency of 90.4% was obtained for optimum concentration. In the case of Dy3+ and Eu3+ codoped phosphors, the color coordinates are found to be sensitive to the Eu3+ concentration and the highest energy transfer efficiency of 92% was obtained for the phosphor doped with 10 mol% Eu3+. The emission color changes from cold white to reddish orange when the wavelength of excitation alters from 452 to 388 nm, since the energy transfer mechanism alone take place under 452 nm excitation and both direct absorption and the energy transfer mechanism occurs under 388 nm excitation.  相似文献

Color-tunable Dy3+/Eu3+ co-doped in Ce2AlO3N phosphors were synthesized via a simple conventional solid state reaction. The as-prepared samples were characterized by XRD, TEM and photoluminescence spectra. Results show that the concentrations of Eu3+ ions can affect the blue and yellow emission intensities of Dy3+, and tunable emission color can be obtained by adjusting the doping concentrations of Eu3+. Based on the energy levers of Eu3+and Dy3+, the mechanism of tunable color has been presented in detail. The thermal stability of Dy3+/Eu3+: Ce2AlO3N has also been discussed.  相似文献

A series of Dy3+ or/and Eu3+ doped Y2Mo4O15 phosphors were successfully synthesized at a low temperature of 600 °C via solid state reaction. The as-prepared phosphors were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electronic microscope (SEM), photoluminescence (PL) excitation, emission spectra and PL decay curves. XRD results demonstrate that Y2Mo4O15: Dy3+, Eu3+ has the monoclinic structure with the space group of p21/C(14). Under the excitation of ultraviolet (UV) or near-UV light, the Dy3+ and Eu3+ ions activated Y2Mo4O15 phosphors exhibit their characteristic emissions in the blue, yellow and red regions. The emitting light color of the Y2Mo4O15: 0.08Dy3+, yEu3+ phosphors can be adjusted by varying the concentration ratio of Dy3+ to Eu3+ ions and a white light is achieved when the doping concentration of Eu3+ is 5%. In addition, the energy transfer from Dy3+ to Eu3+ is also confirmed based on the luminescence spectra and decay curves.  相似文献

Sr3Al2-xBxO5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4) long persistent phosphors were prepared via solid-state process. The pristine Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphor exhibits orange/red broad band emission around 609 nm, which can be attributed to the electric radiation transitions 4f65 d1→4f7 of Eu2+. Upon the same excitation, the B3+-doped Sr3Al2-xBxO5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphors display red-shift from 609 nm to 625 nm with increasing B3+ concentrations. The XRD patterns show that Al3+ can be replaced by B3+ in the host lattice at the tetrahedral site, which causes lattice contraction and crystal field enhancement, and thereafter achieves the red-shift on the emission spectrum. The XPS investigation provides direct evidence of the dominant 2-valent europium in the phosphor, which can be ascribed for the broad band emission of the prepared phosphors. The afterglow of all phosphors show standard double exponential decay behavior, and the afterglow of Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+is rather weak, while the sample co-doped with B3+shows longer and stronger afterglow, as confirmed after the curve simulation. The analysis of thermally stimulated luminescence showed that, when B3+ is introduced, a much deeper trap is created, and the density of the electron trap is also significantly increased. As a result, B3+ ions caused redshift and enhanced afterglow for the Sr3Al2-xBxO5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphor.  相似文献

A series of single-phased emission-tunable Ca3Si2O7:Ce3+, Eu2+ phosphors has been prepared by the solid-state reaction method. The phosphors show two intense emission bands at about 450 nm and 610 nm, which are attributed to the 5d→4f transitions of Ce3+ and Eu2+ ions, respectively. The emission colors of Ca3Si2O7:Ce3+, Eu2+ phosphors vary from blue (0.148, 0.147) to white (0.309, 0.260), and eventually to orange (0.407, 0.319) by tuning the Eu2+/Ce3+ ratio. Energy transfer from Ce3+ to Eu2+ is studied by luminescence spectra and energy transfer efficiency. The results show an electric quadrupole–quadrupole interaction plays an important role in the process of energy transfer. The phosphors with tunable emission are suitable for application in white light-emitting diodes.  相似文献

Dy3+, Eu3+: NaLa(WO4)2 phosphors are successfully synthesized through the solid-state reaction technique. The phase-structure and morphology are measured via X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive spectrometry. The concentrations of Dy3+, Eu3+, La3+, and W6+ are measured via ICP. The absorption and excited spectra are presented, which indicate that a blue band ranging from 430 to 480 nm is suitable for excitation. Using a commercial blue LED with a wavelength of 450 nm as the excitation light source, emission spectra for samples with varying dopant concentration ratios of Dy3+ to Eu3+ are obtained, which show good tunable yellow and red emission. For the purpose of investigating white LED performance, CIE spectra and a white light photo are also presented. The results reveal that varying the dopant concentration ratio of Dy3+ to Eu3+ plays a key role in the warm-white performance. With increasing concentration of Eu3+, the correlated color temperature decreases from 4069 to 3172 K, which indicates good warm-white performance.  相似文献

In this study, novel Eu3+-, Dy3+-, and Sm3+-activated Na3La(VO4)2 phosphors were synthesized using a solid state reaction method. X-ray diffraction analysis results indicated that the Na3La(VO4)2 phosphors had an orthorhombic crystal structure with the Pbc21 space group. There were two different La(1)O8 and La(2)O8 polyhedra with high asymmetry in the crystal structure. Scanning electron microscopy revealed that the product had a sheet morphology with an irregular particle size. Further, the luminescence properties, including the excitation and emission spectra, and luminescence decay curve, were investigated using a fluorescence spectrometer. The results showed that the Na3La(VO4)2 compound was an excellent host for activating the luminescence of Eu3+ (614 nm), Dy3+ (575 nm), and Sm3+ (647 nm) ions. Further, Dy3+/Eu3+ co-doped Na3La(VO4)2 phosphors were exploited, and the energy transfer from Dy3+ to Eu3+ was demonstrated in detail by the photoluminescence excitation, photoluminescence spectra, and luminescent decay curves. The results showed that the energy transfer efficiency from Dy3+ to Eu3+ was highly efficient, and the energy transfer mechanism was dipole–dipole interactions. Finally, tunable emissions from the yellow region of CIE (0.3925, 0.4243) to the red region of CIE (0.6345, 0.3354) could be realized by rationally controlling the Dy3+/Eu3+ concentration ratio. These phosphors may be promising materials for the development of solid-state lighting and display systems.  相似文献

A series of Eu3+- or Dy3+-doped and Eu3+/Dy3+ co-doped Y2WO6 in pure phase was synthesized via high-temperature solid-state reaction. X-ray diffraction, diffuse reflection spectra, photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra, the CIE chromaticity coordinates and temperature-dependent emission spectra were exploited to investigate the phosphors. Upon UV excitation at 310 nm, efficient energy transfer from the host Y2WO6 to dopant ions in Eu3+ or Dy3+ single-doped samples was demonstrated and those phosphors were suitable for the UV LED excitation. The intense red emission was observed in Y2WO6: Eu3+, and blue and yellow ones were observed in Y2WO6: Dy3+. Concentration quenching in Y2WO6: Dy3+ phosphors could be attributed to the electric dipole-dipole interaction. In Eu3+/Dy3+ co-doped Y2WO6 phosphors energy transfer process only took place from the host to Eu3+/Dy3+ ions and warm white-light emission can be obtained by adjusting the dopant concentrations. The temperature-dependent luminescence indicated Eu3+/Dy3+ co-doped Y2WO6 was thermally stable. Our overall results suggested that Y2WO6: Ln3+ (Ln3+=Eu3+, Dy3+) as warm white-light emitting host-sensitized phosphor might be potentially applied in WLEDs.  相似文献

SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphors can convert near ultraviolet light with lower sensitivity to the solar cell to yellow‐green light at which the solar cell has higher sensitivity and exhibit the excellent luminescent property of long persistence. Therefore, in this study, the authors firstly synthesized the fine SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphors and then produced SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+/SiO2 composite films as spectral shifters to understand the effects of SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor on photoelectric conversion efficiencies of a crystalline silicon photovoltaic module. Under one sun illumination, the composite film containing an appropriate amount of SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor enhances the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the cell through spectral down‐shifting as compared to the bare glass substrate, and the maximum achieves 11.12%. In contrast, the commercial SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor composite film is not effective for improving the photoelectric conversion efficiency because of the relatively lower visible light transmittance of film caused by the large aggregates. After one sun illumination for 1 min, the light source was turned off, and the cell containing the synthesized SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor still shows an efficiency of 1.16% in the dark due to the irradiation by the long persistent light from SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+, which provides a possibility to fulfill the operation of solar cells even in the dark.  相似文献

The Dy‐ and Eu‐activated Ca3B2O6 phosphors were synthesized by a high‐temperature solid‐state reaction technique and their structural and luminescent properties were investigated. The phosphors are characterized by X‐ray diffraction, photoluminescence spectra, and Commission International de I'Eclairage (CIE) chromaticity coordinates. It is found that the charge compensator Na+ plays an important role in modifying the emission spectral profiles of Dy and Eu ions in the phosphors. The ratio of the emission located at the yellow wavelength portion to that located at the blue wavelength region of the Dy3+ ions can be apparently tuned by changing the Na+ content. The luminescence intensity of the phosphors can be enhanced with introducing Na+ ions as well. The emission colors of Dy/Eu codoped phosphors change from blue to white and successfully acquire the superior white light emission (x = 0.330, y = 0.329) by appropriately tuning the Na+/Dy3+ content and the excitation wavelength. The energy transfer process from Eu2+ to Dy3+ and Eu3+ occurs in the Dy/Eu codoped phosphors, providing a further approach to modify the emission spectral profile of the examined phosphors. The phosphors presented here have promising applications in the fields of light‐emitting diodes.  相似文献

A new Eu2+, Dy3+: Sr2B5O9Cl phosphor with long persistence was synthesized in a reducing atmosphere by a solid-state reaction process. The pure-phase phosphor was obtained by calcination at 900 °C. The introduction of Eu2+ into the lattice of the matrix resulted in a broad blue emission centered at 423 nm, which was due to the characteristic 4f65d1 to 4f7 energy transfer of Eu2+ ions. Both Eu-doped and Dy/Eu-codoped phosphors displayed afterglow behaviors due to the electron traps generated by the incorporation of tri-valanced rare earth cations into the original Sr lattice sites. The afterglow of Eu2+: Sr2B5O9Cl and Eu2+, Dy3+: Sr2B5O9Cl phosphors showed standard double exponential decay behaviors, and the Eu2+/Dy3+ co-doped sample demonstrated better afterglow properties than Eu2+-doped one. A longer lifetime for the electrons was confirmed after the afterglow decay curve simulation. Based on the analysis of thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL), the difference in afterglow was attributed to the different trap concentrations induced by the Dy3+ (Eu3+) doping in the Sr2B5O9Cl matrix.  相似文献

Long persistent luminescence materials developed to commercial standards are primarily concentrated in the blue and green regions, with only a few in the red region. Red, as one of the three basic colors, can be mixed in various proportions with blue and green to yield various colors. The development of red persistent phosphors has a broader application potential but remains a challenge. A solid-state reaction method was used to synthesize new red persistent luminescent materials of Ba1-xSrxGa2O4:Sm3+ (x = 0–0.09). In BaGa2O4, both Sr2+ and Sm3+ preferentially occupy the Ba2+ site rather than the Ga3+ site. When exposed to UV light at 254 nm, the phosphors emit the characteristic red emission of Sm3+ at wavelengths ranging from 500 nm to 750 nm. After removing the UV light source, an intense red afterglow that lasted more than 1400 s was observed. The red afterglow signal reappears after a heating process. Doping Sr2+ reduces the trap depth and improves the red persistent luminescence significantly. Because the escaped electrons from traps compensate for the emission loss of Sm3+ during the heating process, the red phosphors have unimaginably luminescent thermal stability. Thus, the emission intensity at 200 °C is 1.6 times that at room temperature. The prepared red persistent phosphors show multimode luminescence, with the output signal being time and temperature sensitive, indicating that they are potential luminescent materials for anti-counterfeiting applications. Finally, a building-block strategy for advanced anti-counterfeiting applications of dynamic display information is proposed, with red persistent phosphors serving as an important component combined with upconversion phosphors of NaYF4:Yb3+, Tm3+, and green persistent phosphors of SrAl2O4:Eu2+, Dy3+.  相似文献

A series of emission-tunable Ca3SiO4Cl2:Bi3+, Li+, Eun+(n =2, 3) (CSC:Bi3+, Li+, Eun+) phosphors have been synthesized via sol-gel method. The X-ray diffraction results indicate that the as-synthesized phosphors crystallize in a low temperature phase with the space group of P21/c. Energy transfer from Bi3+ to Eu3+/Eu2+ exists in CSC:Bi3+, Li+, Eun+ phosphors. Under the excitation of 327 or 365 nm, the Ca2.98−ySiO4Cl2:0.01Bi3+, 0.01Li+, yEun+(y=0.0001–0.002) phosphors show an intense green emission band around 505 nm, while under the excitation of 264 nm, three emission bands centered around 396 nm (Bi3+), 505 nm (Eu2+) and 614 nm (Eu3+) are observed and tunable colors from blue-violet to green or white are achieved in these phosphors by varying the content of Eu. White-light emission with the color coordinate (0.312, 0.328) is obtained in Ca2.978SiO4Cl2:0.01Bi3+, 0.01Li+, 0.002Eun+(n =2, 3). Based on these results, the as-prepared CSC:Bi3+, Li+, Eu2+, Eu3+ phosphors can act as color-tunable and single-phase white emission phosphors for potential applications in UV-excited white LEDs.  相似文献

A variety of Bi3+ and/or Eu3+ doped KBaYSi2O7 phosphors with deep blue, cyan, orange-red, and white light multicolor emissions have been fabricated by a Pechini sol-gel (PSG) method. The KBaYSi2O7:Bi3+ phosphors exhibit an intense cyan emission or a unique narrow deep blue emission when excited by different wavelengths, which may bridge the cyan gap or act as a promising deep blue phosphor for white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs). The tunable multicolor emissions can be achieved by changing the Bi3+ doping concentrations. The Bi3+/Eu3+ co-doped KBaYSi2O7 phosphors display intrinsic emissions of Bi3+ and Eu3+ and an energy transfer process between Bi3+ and Eu3+ can be detected. The luminescence colors of KBaYSi2O7:Bi3+,Eu3+ regularly shift from blue, through cold and warm white, finally toward orange-red by adjusting the relative doping concentrations of Bi3+ and Eu3+. The single-phase white light-emitting material can be generated in both cold and warm white regions by simply varying the Eu3+ doping concentrations. Furthermore, three kinds of WLEDs devices are fabricated by KBaYSi2O7:Bi3+ or KBaYSi2O7:Bi3+,Eu3+ phosphors, which can exhibit dazzling white light emissions with eminent CIE coordinates, correlated color temperature, and color rendering index. The result offers direct evidence that the as-synthesized phosphors may be potentially applied in WLEDs and solid-state lighting.  相似文献

A series of Ca5(PO4)3F:Dy3+, Eu3+ phosphors was synthesized by a solid‐state reaction method. The XRD results show that all as‐prepared Ca5(PO4)3F:Dy3+, Eu3+ samples match well with the standard Ca5(PO4)3F structure and the doped Dy3+ and Eu3+ ions have no effect on the crystal structure. Under near‐ultraviolet excitation, Dy3+ doped Ca5(PO4)3F phosphor shows blue (486 nm) and yellow (579 nm) emissions, which correspond to 4F9/26H15/2 and 4F9/26H13/2 transitions respectively. Eu3+ co‐doped Ca5(PO4)3F:Dy3+ phosphor shows the additional red emission of Eu3+ at 631 nm, and an improved color rendering index. The chromaticity coordinates of Ca5(PO4)3F:Dy3+, Eu3+ phosphors also indicate the excellent warm white emission characteristics and low correlated color temperature. Overall, these results suggest that the Ca5(PO4)3F:Dy3+, Eu3+ phosphors have potential applications in warm white light‐emitting diodes as single‐component phosphor.  相似文献

A single-component Ca3YAl3B4O15 (CYAB):Dy3+, Eu3+ phosphor was synthesized by the traditional high temperature solid-phase method, Dy3+ and Eu3+ were codoped in the structure to obtain a warm white emission. The results of XRD and EDS revealed that all samples had the standard Ca3YAl3B4O15 structure, and no impurity phase appeared with codoping. The emission of Dy3+ in CYAB consisted of both main peaks at 476 nm and 570 nm, with which a white emission could be observed. Furthermore, a characteristic emission peak of Eu3+ appeared at 617 nm in Dy3+/Eu3+-codoped samples to supplement red component for the white emission of Dy3+, due to the energy transfer effect between Dy3+ and Eu3+. With the amount of Eu3+ raised, the correlated colour temperature of CYAB:Dy3+, Eu3+ phosphor obviously decreased, and a warm white light was successfully realized from the manufactured w-LEDs. Therefore, all results indicated that the single-component Dy3+/Eu3+ codoped CYAB white-emitting phosphor had a potential application in ultraviolet excited w-LEDs.  相似文献

A laser melting method has been developed for the synthesis of highly luminescent, long-lasting SrAl2O4:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphors. The high temperature achieved in high-power density CO2 laser irradiation of mixtures of SrCO3, Al2O3, Eu2O3, and Dy2O3 enabled the one-step, fast synthesis of these phosphors in air at atmospheric pressure. X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy characterization studies reveal that the produced materials consist of monoclinic SrAl2O4 grains extensively surrounded by rare-earth ion-enriched grain boundaries. The photoluminescence properties of laser-produced SrAl2O4:Eu2+, Dy3+ materials are discussed. The results reported here suggest that this laser melting method is a promising route for the synthesis of ceramic phosphors. It is presented as an alternative to the conventional sol–gel and solid-state methods, which require the use of high-temperature furnaces, flux additives, and reducing atmospheres.  相似文献

A series of color tunable Tb3+‐ and Eu3+‐activated Sr2P2O7 phosphors were synthesized by a traditional solid‐state reaction method in air atmosphere. The crystal structure, photoluminescence (PL) properties, energy transfer, thermal stability, and luminous efficiency were investigated. A series of characteristic emission of Tb3+ and Eu3+ were observed in the PL spectra and the variation in the emission intensities of the three emission peaks at around 416 nm (blue), 545 nm (green), and 593 nm (orange‐red) induced the multicolor emission evolution by tuning the Tb3+/Eu3+ content ratio. The energy‐transfer mechanism from Tb3+ to Eu3+ ion was determined to be dipole–dipole interaction, and the energy‐transfer efficiency was about 90%. The novel phosphors have excellent thermal stability in the temperature range of 77–473 K and the Commission International De L'Eclairage 1931 chromaticity coordinates of Sr2P2O7: Tb3+, Eu3+ex = 378 nm) move toward the ideal white light coordinates.  相似文献

The polycrystalline Eu2+ and Dy3+ codoped strontium aluminates SrAl2O4: Eu2+,Dy3+ were prepared by a solid-state reaction. The UV-excited photoluminescence, persistent luminescence, and thermoluminescence of the SrAl2O4: Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphors with different compositions and ion doping was studied and compared. The results showed that the Eu2+ ion doped in SrAl2O4: Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphors is not only the UV-excited luminescent center but also the persistent luminescent center. The Dy3+ ion introduced into SrAl2O4: Eu2+ crystal matrix can hardly yield any luminescence under UV excitation but acts as an electron trap with a suitable depth for persistent luminescence. The Dy3+ codoping would effectively enhance the persistent luminescence and thermoluminescence. Different codoping RE 3+ ions have a different effect on persistent luminescence. Only the RE 3+ ions (for example, Dy3+ and Nd3+), which have suitable optical electronegativity, can form suitable electron traps and effectively improve the persistent luminescence of SrAl2O4: Eu2+. Based on the above observations, a persistent luminescence mechanism, electron transfer model, was proposed and illustrated. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

Novel LaMgAl11O19:Tm3+, Dy3+ phosphors were prepared utilizing a high‐temperature solid‐state reaction method. The phase formation, luminescence properties, energy‐transfer mechanism from the Tm3+ to the Dy3+ ions, the thermal stability, and CIE coordinates were investigated. When excited at 359 nm, the LaMgAl11O19: xTm3+ phosphors exhibit strong blue emission bands at 455 nm. After codoping with Dy3+ and excitation at 359 nm, the LaMgAl11O19:0.03Tm3+, yDy3+ phosphors emitted white light consisting of the characteristic emission peaks of Tm3+ and Dy3+. The Dy3+ emission intensity increased with the Dy3+ concentration due to the energy transfer from Tm3+ to Dy3+, and concentration quenching due to the high Dy3+ doping concentration (= 0.1 mol) did not occur. The calculation of the CIE coordinates of the LaMgAl11O19:Tm3+, yDy3+ phosphors revealed the tunability of the emission color from blue to bluish‐white and to white by changing the excitation wavelength and the doping concentration. An energy transfer from Tm3+ to Dy3+ by dipole–dipole interaction was confirmed by the decay curve, lifetime, and energy‐transfer efficiency measurements. When excited at 359 nm, the LaMgAl11O19:Tm3+, Dy3+ phosphor also showed good thermal stability, suggesting that it can be used in white LEDs excited by a GaN‐based ultraviolet LED.  相似文献
