The A1, O, AlO, A12O, Al2O2, WO2, and WO3, partial pressures in the vapor over Al2O3 in a tungsten Knudsen effusion cell between 2300 and 2600 K were derived from A1+, O+, AlO+, A12O+, Al2O2+, WO2+, and WO3+, ion intensities. The mass spectrometer was calibrated against the equilibrium constant of the WO3(g) = WO2(g) + O(g) reaction. Refined values of the ionization cross sections of AlO and A12O2 were used in the partial pressure calculations. The enthalpies of atomization of aluminum suboxides were determined to be Δat H o(AlO, g, 0) = 510.7 ± 3.3 kJ mol−1, Δat H o(Al2O, g, 0) = 1067.2 ± 6.9 kJ mol−1, and Δat H o(Al2O2, g, 0) = 1556.7 ± 9.9 kJ mol−1.  相似文献

Al2O3-Cr2O3 solid solutions with 0, 4, 7, 10 and 20 mol% of corundum were synthesized using a high-pressure/high-temperature apparatus and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. Calorimetric measurements were carried out using DSC-111 (Setaram). Heat capacity was measured by the enthalpy method in a temperature range of 260–340 K, near magnetic phase transition in pure Cr2O3 (305 K). Magnetic contribution into the heat capacity was derived and found to change irregularly with the composition.  相似文献

Liquid-phase reduction NO 3 using monometallic and bimetallic catalysts (5% Rh/Al2O3, 5% Rh-0.5% Cu/Al2O3, 5% Rh-1.5% Cu/Al2O3, 5% Rh-5% Cu/Al2O3 and a physical mixture of 5% Rh/Al2O3 and 1.5% Cu/Al2O3) was studied in a slurry reactor operating at atmospheric pressure. Kinetic measurements were performed for a low concentration of nitrate (0.4 × 10−3−3.2 × 10−3 mol dm−3) and the temperature range 293–313 K. From the experimental data, it was found that the reduction of nitrate is first order with respect to nitrate. On the basis of the rate constants, the apparent activation energy was established using a graphic method. Published in Russian in Kinetika i Kataliz, 2007, Vol. 48, No. 6, pp. 881–886. Phase relations in the Y2O3-Ga2O3 system were studied by the anneal-and-quench technique in air within 1000–2300°C, and a phase diagram was plotted. Three compounds were found to form: Y3GaO6, Y4Ga2O9, and Y3Ga5O12; the temperature and concentration bounds of stability were determined for these compounds. Phase relations in the CaO-Bi2O3-B2O3 system have been investigated by X-ray powder diffraction and differential thermal analyses, and the isothermal section at 600°C has been constructed. The formation of ternary compounds at the component ratios 1CaO: 1Bi2O3: 1B2O3 (CaBi2B2O7) and 1CaO: 1Bi2O3: 2B2O3 (CaBi2B4O10) has been established X-ray diffraction characteristics of these phases are presented.  相似文献

Thermal properties of Co2FeV3O11 have been reinvestigated. It has been proved that this compound does not exhibit polymorphism. It melts incongruently at the temperature of 770±5°C and the phase with lyonsite type structure is the solid product of this melting. Phase relations in the whole subsolidus area of the CoO–V2O5–Fe2O3 system have been determined. The solidus area projection onto the component concentration triangle plane of this system has been constructed using the DTA and XRD methods. 15 subsidiary subsystems can be distinguished in this system.  相似文献

Phase equilibria in the three-component systems LiBr-LiVO3-Li2MoO4 and LiBr-Li2SO4-Li2MoO4 have been studied using differential thermal analysis (DTA). Eutectic compositions have been determined (mol %): in the system LiBr-LiVO3-Li2MoO4, 56.0 LiBr, 22.0 LiVO3, and 22.0 Li2MoO4 with a melting temperature of 413°C; and in the system LiBr-Li2SO4-Li2MoO4, 65.0 LiBr, 14.0 Li2SO4, and 21.0 Li2MoO4 with a melting temperature of 421°C. Applying of the most toxic halogenated and aromatic flame retardants is limited with respect to the environmental requirements. Nontoxic Al(OH)3 nanoparticles were synthesized via a simple surfactant-free precipitation reaction at room temperature. The effect of various precipitation-agents on the morphology of the products was investigated. Al(OH)3 nanoparticles were added to the polysulfone and poly styrene (PS) matrices. Electron microscope images show excellent dispersion of aluminium hydroxide in PS matrix. Nanoparticles appropriately enhanced both thermal stability and flame retardant property of the polymeric matrices. The enhancement of flame retardancy is due to endothermic decomposition of Al(OH)3 that absorbs heat and simultaneously releases of water (makes combustible gases diluted and cold). Dispersed nanoparticles play the role of a barrier layer against flame, oxygen and polymer volatilization. Al(OH)3 was converted to Al2O3 and its photo-catalyst property in degradation three different organic dyes as pollutants was investigated.  相似文献

Phase equilibria in the LiF-LiCl-LiVO3-Li2SO4-Li2MoO4 system have been studied by differential thermal analysis. The eutectic composition has been determined as follows (mol %): LiF, 17.4; LiCl, 42.0; LiVO3, 17.4; Li2SO4, 11.6; and Li2MoO4, 11.6, with the melting temperature equal to 363°C and the enthalpy of melting equal to (284 ± 7) kJ/kg.  相似文献

We show a feasibility of preparing a highly homogeneous composite gel (CG) based on hydrolysis products of Al2O3-ZrO2 salts. The phase composition of a sample calcined at 1250°C for 2 h is as follows: α-Al2O3, t-ZrO2, and m-ZrO2 where the t-ZrO2/m-ZrO2 phase ratio ranges from 2.8 to 3.8 depending on gel preparation conditions. The investigative tools used are powder X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis (atmosphere: Ar), and IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Thick aluminum oxide films are prepared on Al plates by anodizing. On the ceramic surface thus obtained a very thin Ag film is deposited via vacuum thermal evaporation. The Ag/Al2O3/Al samples prepared are irradiated by Nd:YAG laser through a suitable metal mask in order to remove the top metal film in the exposed areas. Thus, a negative silver image of the copied mask is obtained. Further, the samples are processed in Ni electroless chemical bath activated by the rest of silver. All processing steps are studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). EDS X-ray mapping is applied to study the final distribution of Al and Ni in the processed areas. In addition, the DC conductivity of the fabricated Ni wires obtained is measured. The proposed new method for selective chemical deposition of electroconductive Ni onto laser microstructured Ag/Al2O3/Al samples is simple, versatile and not restricted to the metal/ceramic system studied as well as to the electroless deposited metal.  相似文献
