In crystals BaFX:Eu~(2+)(X=Cl,Br).there exists configuration interaction between 4f~65d and 4f~65s ex-cited state of Eu~(2+)ion.and it results in the change of relative intensities of d-f and f-f transition.The transition~S_-_2→4f~65d-6s is observed.The variation of F/X atomic ratio between 110/90 and 90/110 does not obvi-ously influence the luminescence of BaFX:Eu~(2-).There is energy transfer between Eu~(2+)(f-f)and Eu~(3+)whichcoexists in the matrices.  相似文献

In this work, the photoluminescence(PL) of NaScP_2O_7:Eu~(2+) and NaScP_2O_7:Eu~(2+),Mn~(2+) was investigated. Phase purity was checked using X-ray powder diffractometry(XRD). PL excitation and emission spectra were recorded to elucidate the PL properties of NaScP_2O_7:Eu~(2+) and NaScP_2O_7:Eu~(2+),Mn~(2+). Furthermore, fluorescence lifetime measurements were performed. PL and lifetime measurements were carried out from 10 to 525 K. Moreover, the Eu~(2+) site occupation was discussed. It turned out that the incorporated Eu~(2+) ions substituted for Na+ site and occupied two different sites. Temperature dependent PL measurements indicated the emission intensity decreased with increasing temperature due to temperature quenching in NaScP_2O_7:Eu~(2+). Fluorescence lifetimes of Eu~(2+) in NaScP_2O_7:Eu~(2+) almost did not change with a decay constant τ=~0.53 μs in the temperature range of 10–280 K, and then shortened due to temperature quenching. The luminescent lifetime reached ~0.05 μs at T=525 K. Finally, it was found that energy transfer occurred from Eu~(2+) to Mn~(2+) in co-doped NaScP_2O_7:Eu~(2+),Mn~(2+).  相似文献

Ce3+,Eu3+ and Tb3+ singly doped and Ce3+/Eu3+ and Ce3+/Tb3+ co-doped zinc phosphate glasses were prepared by sintering P2O5,ZnO,Ce2(C2O4)3·10H2O and Eu2O3/Tb4O7 mixtures at 1200 °C in the air for 2 h and then annealing at 450 °C for 10 h.The obtained glasses were homogeneous and transparent.The glasses without Ce3+ were colorless and those with Ce3+ showed slightly yellow.The singly doped glasses showed strong emissions and excitations from doped trivalent rare earth ions.Strong energy transfer from Ce3+ to Tb3+ was observed for Ce3+/Tb3+ coped samples.There were also some very weak evidences for the energy transfer from Ce3+ to Eu3+.  相似文献

Long lasting blue-green-emitting Sr4Al14O25:Eu2+ phosphors were synthesized by solid-state reactions.The phosphors were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and fluorescence spectrophotometer.A pure phase of Sr4Al14O25:Eu2+ phosphor was obtained at 1250 °C.There are two different types of Eu emission centers in Sr4Al14O25:Eu2+ phosphor.The effects of the Eu2+ concentration and the reducing temperature on the distribution of Eu2+ among different sites were investigated.The energy transfer mechanism between two different emission centers was elucidated via the investigation of thermal damage influence on the phosphorescence spectra,that is,the energy emitted from an Eu1 emission center could be reabsorbed by an Eu2 emission center.  相似文献

In this paper,we designed Eu~(2+)-doped BaAlF_5 and BaSiF_6 downconversion nanophosphors with strong f-f transition emission to realize the quantitative detection of TNP.The surface of the as-prepared nanophosphors was modified by polyethylenimine(PEI) to increase the water solubility and to provide a pair of electrons to bind to the benzene ring in TNP,forming a Meisenheimer complex.The detection principle of TNP is based on luminescence resonance energy transfer(LRET) technology,where the PEI-functionalized BaAlF_5:Eu~(2+) and BaSiF_6:Eu~(2+) nanophosphors are used as energy donors and TNP is an energy acceptor.With increasing TNP concentrations,the luminescence intensity of the BaAlF_5:Eu~(2+)and BaSiF_6:Eu~(2+) nanophosphors at 359 nm [~4 f_7(~6 P_(7/2))→~4 f_7(~8 S_(7/2)) transition of Eu~(2+)] displays dramatic luminescent quenching.The BaAlF_5:Eu~(2+)@PEI or BaSiF_6:Eu~(2+)@PEI nanophosphor downconversion luminescent sensors show great sensitivity and selectivity and good linearity,and the detection limits of TNP are 0.57 and 2.82 ng/mL,respectively.  相似文献

In order to effectively improve the afterglow properties of CaAl_2 O_4:Eu~(2+),Nd~(3+) phosphors,a series of Ca_(0.982-x)Al_2 O_4:0.012 Eu~(2+),0.006 Nd~(3+),xGd~(3+)(x=0,0.012,0.024,0.036,0.048,0.060 mol) phosphors were prepared by a high-temperature solid-phase approach.Crystalline composition and microstructure were characterized by XRD,TEM,HRTEM,and XPS,luminescence properties were systematically analyzed by fluorescence spectra,afterglow decay curves and TL glow curve.Results show that all of Ca_(0.982-x)Al_2 O_4:0.012 Eu~(2+),0.006 Nd~(3+),xGd~(3+)phosphors belong to monoclinic CaAl_2 O_4,without other cystalline phase.The blue emission at 442 nm is observed,which is assigned to the 4 f~65 d→4 f~7 transition of Eu~(2+) ions.Doping with appropriate amount of Gd~(3+) ions(x=0.036 mol) significantly improves the afterglow properties of phosphors,but the excessive doping of Gd~(3+) induces the fluorescent quenching.The doping of moderate Gd3+changes the traps states,the trap depth varies from 0.598 to 0.644 eV and the trap concentration is also greatly improved,thus significantly improving afterglow performance.  相似文献

利用溶胶-凝胶法,将激活离子Eu~(3+)和Tb~(3+)以单一或混合的形式掺入体系得到了光致发光材料.分别研究了材料中激活离子Eu~(3+)和Tb~(3+)的含量及其离子之间的能量传递关系.主要利用材料的三维荧光光谱,激发光谱和发射光谱对其的发光性质进行了分析;结果发现,材料中有两个发光中心,分别为Eu~(3+)和Tb~(3+),在不同的波长光的激发下得到的材料的红绿色发光强度不同,而且Eu~(3+)和Tb~(3+)的掺杂浓度比对发光色度影响很大.所以可以根据选择最适合的Eu~(3+)和Tb~(3+)的浓度比来控制材料的发光色,也可以通过不同的激发波长对材料的色度进行微调.  相似文献

In this work,Nb5+and Cu2+were selected to partially substitute Zr4+in Gd2Zr2O7for studying the phase structure,microscopic morphology and thermal properties.Gd2(Zr_(1-3 x/2)NbxCUx/2)2O7(x=0,0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2,0.25)ceramic materials were synthesized by high-temperature solid-state reaction method.The results show that the Gd2(Zr_(1-3 x/2)NbxCux/2)2O7ceramics present cubic pyrochlore structure with clear grain boundaries and dense cell structure.And the thermal expansion coefficient of Gd2(Zr_(1-3 x/2)NbxCux/2)2O7ceramics gradually decreases because of the incorporation of Nb5+and Cu2+into Zr-site in Gd2Zr2O7.Meanwhile,its thermal conductivity decreases firstly and then increases with the doping of Nb5+and Cu2+,which reaches the lowest value for the composition of Gd2(Zr0.85Nb0.1Cu0.05)2O7.  相似文献

In this paper,luminescence thermal quenching of M_2SiO_4:Eu~(2+)(M=Sr,Ba) orthosilicate phosphors and mechanisms for thermal quenching proposed by different authors are briefly reviewed.Depending on preparation conditions and/or Eu~(2+)-doping concentrations,the quenching temperature(T_(1/2)) and activation energy for thermal quenching of the same orthosilicate phosphor reported by different authors are inconsistent.The common conclusion is that T_(1/2) of the intermediate compound(Ba_(1-x)Sr_x)_2 SiO_4:Eu~(2+)(x≈0.5) is higher than that of either Sr_2So_4;Eu~(2+)or Ba_2SiO_4;Eu~(2+)end-member.Moreover,T_(1/2) of the best-performing SrBaSiO_4:Eu~(2+)is evidently lower than that of YAG:Ce~(3+)and some Eu~(2+)-doped nitride phosphors.Rega rding the quenching mechanism,most of the investigators attributed thermal quenching to a thermally assisted 4f-5d cross-over in the configuration coordinate diagram.Only a few authors ascribed thermal quenching to a thermally assisted photoionization of 5 d electron to conduction band of the host.Nonetheless,a close inspection of T_(1/2) and Stokes shift derived from the vibrational spectra of the intermediate compound and end-member phosphors indicates that the 5d electron photo ionization model instead of the 4f-5d crossing decay model should be the genuine mechanism for the thermal quenching of M_2 SiO_4:Eu~(2+)(M=Sr,Ba) phosphors.Since the relationship between T_(1/2) and Stokes shift of the phosphors does not support the 4 f-5 d crossing decay model.The ionization probability of the 5 d electron depends on the energy gap(E_(dC)) between 5 d_1 level of the Eu~(2+)and conduction band minimum(CBM) of the host at higher temperatures.Lattice thermal expansion would result in an elevating 5 d_1 level of the Eu~(2+)along with a diminishing CBM of the host and as a consequence a reduction in E_(dC) and an enhanced photo ionization probability at elevated temperatures.A less rigid lattice and hence a larger coefficient of thermal expansion of M_2SiO_4 hosts should be the physical origin of poorer thermal quenching properties of the orthosilicate phosphors.  相似文献

Eu3+ doped strontium-aluminium-bismuth-borate glasses with the chemical composition(50–x)B2O3+20Bi2O3+7Al F3+ 8Sr O+15Sr F2+x Eu2O3(where x=0.1 mol.%, 0.5 mol.%, 1.0 mol.% and 1.5 mol.%) were prepared by the conventional melt quenching technique.Structural properties of the prepared glasses were analysed through X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and Raman spectral techniques.Thermal stability of glass was analysed by differential thermal analysis(DTA) curve.Photoluminescence characteristics were studied using excitation, emission spectra and decay curves of Eu3+ doped strontium-aluminium-bismuth-borate glasses.The Judd-Ofelt(J-O) intensity parameters, Ωλ(λ=2, 4 and 6) were obtained using emission spectra and was used to identify the nature of Eu3+ ions with their surrounding ligands.Using J-O parameters the transition probabilities(A), stimulated emission cross-sections σE p, branching ratios(βR) and radiative lifetimes(τmeas and τcal) were evaluated for the 5D0→7F J(J=0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) transition of Eu3+ ions in the present glasses.The decay profiles were found to be non exponential for all the concentrations and the measured lifetimes(τmeas) were obtained from the decay profiles.The higher values of A, σE p, βR and quantum efficiency(η) for 5D0→7F2 emission transition at 617 nm confirmed the present glass was as active medium for red laser emission applications.  相似文献

Eu~(3+)-doped MgAl_2O_4 nanoparticles were prepared by modified Pechini method.X-ray diffraction analysis shows pure tetragonal spinel phase without any impurities.The average size of synthesized nanoparticles was determined to be about 50-60 nm using scanning electron microscopy and static light scattering techniques.Emission and excitation spectra as well as lifetimes of MgAl_2O_4:Eu~(3+) nanophosphors were explored in surrounding media with different refractive indexes.Surrounding medium does not affect luminescence bands position,whereas ~5D_0 lifetime monotonically decreases along with increase of medium refractive index.Effect of surrounding media on radiative and nonradiative decay rates,which were calculated using 4f-4f intensity theory,was studied and discussed.Filling factor of prepared nanoparticles is defined using both radiative and observed lifetimes.  相似文献

This paper presented the studies on the optical properties and calculation of spectral parameters of europium doped lanthanum oxychloride nanophosphor for their possible applications in optoelectronic devices. The compound was doped with 0.1 mol% Eu3+ ions. The X-ray diffraction study of prepared sample suggested the tetragonal structure with particle size in the range of 18-21 nm. The photoluminescence (PL) emission spectra showed the bright emission in orange-red region from 580 to 630 nm. The most intense emission peak at 621 nm was due to transition 5D0→7F2 in energy levels of Eu3+ ions. The spectral parameters were calculated from the absorption and emission spectra using Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters. The calculated values of the oscillator strength corresponding to the three transitions 7F1→5D1, 7F1→5D2 and 7F0→5D2 observed at 535, 472 and 465 nm in absorption spectra were 0.30×10-6, 1.36×10-6 and 0.63×10-6, respectively. The value of transi- tion probability (A), stimulated emission cross-section ( ) and radiative lifetime (τrad) corresponding to 621 nm emission peak (transition 5D0→7F2) were 308 s-1, 1.22×10-21 cm2 and 3.24×10-3 s, respectively.  相似文献

The fluorescent characteristic and emission spectra of Eu~(2+) in the cubic structureCa_8Zn(SiO_4)_4Cl_2 with three kinds of cation sites is reported.The influence of temperature,Eu~(2+) concentra-tion and excitation conditions on fluorescent properties of Eu~(2+) are studied at 77 and 298 K.Thecoordination number of Eu~(2+) at different sites is obtained.The green and red emission bands arise fromEu_(2+) ions locating on eight- and six- coordinated inequivalent sites respectively.  相似文献

Under the excitation of UV light and cathode ray,the dependence of the excitation and emission spectraand luminescent lifetime of Eu~(3+)and Bi~(3+)on composition and structure in LABO_3 and GdBO_3 has been stu-died.The results indicate that the emission spectra of Eu~(3+)in LaBO_3 with aragonite structure and in GdBO_3with YBO_3 structure are quite different.Under 254 nm excitation,Eu~(3+)emission is sensitized by Bi~(3+)inGdBO_3 matrix.In other case Eu~(3+)emission is quenched by Bi(3+).  相似文献

Blue-emitting phosphors Sr_6 Ca_4(PO_4)_6 F_2:Eu~(2+)(SCPF:Eu~(2+)),Sr_6 Ca_4(PO_4)_6 F_2:Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+)(SCPF:Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+))and Sr_6 Ca_4(PO_4)_6 F_2:Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+),Si~(4+)(SCPF:Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+),Si~(4+)) with apatite structure were successfully synthesized by traditional solid-state reaction under reducing atmosphere.Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+) and Si4+ions occupy the corresponding sites of Sr~(2+),Ca~(2+) and P~(5+).Strong broad blue photo luminescence band is exhibited in SCPF:Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+) phosphor ranging from 400 to 550 nm centered at 455 nm and Dy~(3+) ions are vital in creating traps.Emission intensity of Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+) co-doped SCPF:0.02 Eu~(2+),0.02 Dy~(3+) is about 1.8 times that of SCPF:0.02 Eu~(2+) and electron trap centers serve as energy transporting media.To further elucidate the formation and effect of the specific defect on the luminescence of SCPF:0.02 Eu~(2+),0.02 Dy~(3+) phosphor,the thermoluminescence properties,decay curves and thermal stability studies were performed while the Si~(4+)-P~(5+) charge compensated pho sphor SCPF:0.02 Eu~(2+),0.02 Dy~(3+),0.02 Si~(4+) was prepared as a contrast.All the results of present work indicate that Dy~(3+) co-doping can obviously enhance photoluminescence intensity of SCPF:0.02 Eu~(2+) by the electron traps generated by non-equivalence replacement of Dy~(3+)-Ca~(2+).  相似文献

In this paper,the fracture surfaces of a light-conversion film were observed using a scanning electron microscope(SEM),and then,the fluorescence spectra and mechanical properties of the film were tested.The SEM results show that the average diameter of the light conversion agent is 500 nm.The results of the mechanical properties tests show that the tensile strengths of light-conversion film increase from9.86 to 12.16 MPa and that the strain at breakage increases from 2.37% to 2.75%.In addition,the application effects of the light-co nversion film were studied.The results indicate that plant height,length of the maximum leaf,width of the maximum leaf and breadth of the plants increase by 24.43%,15.30%,15.60% and 19.07%,respectively.The quality of Chinese flowering cabbages treated with the lightconversion film is superior,including a 9.09% increase in the soluble protein content,a 21.27% increase in the polyphenol content,and a 19.15% increase in the soluble sugar content.Based on these results,light-conversion films can be applied in agricultural production.  相似文献
