This article deals with the Fujita-type theorems to the Cauchy problem of degenerate parabolic equation not in divergence form with weighted source u t ?=?u p Δu?+?a(x)u q in ? n ?×?(0,?T), where p?≥?1, q?>?1, and the positive weight function a(x) is of the order |x| m with m?>??2. It was known that for the degenerate diffusion equation in divergence form, the weight function affects both of the critical Fujita exponent and the second critical exponent (describing the critical smallness of initial data required by global solutions via the decay rates of the initial data at space-infinity). Contrarily, it is interesting to prove that the weight function in the present model with degenerate diffusion not in divergence form influences the second critical exponent only, without changing the critical Fujita exponent.  相似文献

In this article, the authors establish the conditions for the extinction of solutions, in finite time, of the fast diffusive polytropic filtration equation u t ?=?div(|?u m | p?2?u m )?+?aΩ u q (y,?t)dy with a, q, m?>?0, p?>?1, m(p???1)?R N (N?>?2). More precisely speaking, it is shown that if q?>?m(p???1), any non-negative solution with small initial data vanishes in finite time, and if 0?q?m(p???1), there exists a solution which is positive in Ω for all t?>?0. For the critical case q?=?m(p???1), whether the solutions vanish in finite time or not depends on the comparison between a and μ, where μ?=?∫?Ωφ p?1(x)dx and φ is the unique positive solution of the elliptic problem ?div(|?φ| p?2?φ)?=?1, x?∈?Ω; φ(x)?=?0, x?∈??Ω.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with large time behavior of solutions to the homogeneous Neumann problem of the non-Newtonian filtration equation. It is shown that the critical Fujita exponent for the problem considered is determined not only by the spatial dimension and the nonlinearity exponent, but also by the coefficient k of the first-order term. In fact, we show that there exist two thresholds k and k1 on the coefficient k of the first-order term, and the critical Fujita exponent is a finite number when k is between k and k1, while the critical exponent does not exist when kk or kk1. This paper deals with propagations of singularities in solutions to a parabolic system coupled with nonlocal nonlinear sources. The estimates for the four possible blow-up rates as well as the boundary layer profiles are established. The critical exponent of the system is determined also. This paper contains results on well‐posedness, stability, and long‐time behavior of solutions to a class of plate models subject to damping and source terms given by the product of two nonlinear components [EQUATION1] where Ω is a bounded open set of R n with smooth boundary, γ ,ρ ?0 and are nonlocal functions. The main result states that the dynamical system {S (t )}t ?0 associated with this problem has a compact global attractor. In addition, in the limit case γ  = 0, it is also shown that {S (t )}t ?0 has a finite dimensional global attractor by using an approach on quasi‐stability because of Chueshov–Lasiecka (2010). This paper deals with the extinction properties of solutions for the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary value problem with the nonlocal source and interior absorption where m,λ,k,q > 0, 0 < m(p ? 1) < 1, r ≤ 1, and . By using Lp‐integral norm estimate method, we obtain the sufficient conditions of extinction solutions. Moreover, we also give the precise decay estimates of the extinction solutions. We study the Cauchy problem for quasilinear parabolic equation with inhomogeneous density and a source. We show that this problem has a global solution under the assumptions that initial datum is small enough in the integral sense and the source term has overcritical behaviour. In this article, we investigate the blow-up properties of the positive solutions for a doubly degenerate parabolic equation with nonlocal source and nonlocal boundary condition. The conditions on the existence and nonexistence of global positive solutions are given. Moreover, we give the precise blow-up rate estimate and the uniform blow-up estimate for the blow-up solution.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the large time behavior of solutions to two types of nonlinear diffusion equations with nonlinear boundary sources on the exterior domain of the unit ball. We are interested in the critical global exponent q0 and the critical Fujita exponent qc for the problems considered, and show that q0=qc for the multi-dimensional porous medium equation and non-Newtonian filtration equation with nonlinear boundary sources. This is quite different from the known results that q0<qc for the one-dimensional case.  相似文献

Blow‐up phenomena for a nonlinear divergence form parabolic equation with weighted inner absorption term are investigated under nonlinear boundary flux in a bounded star‐shaped region. We assume some conditions on weight function and nonlinearities to guarantee that the solution exists globally or blows up at finite time. Moreover, by virtue of the modified differential inequality, upper and lower bounds for the blow‐up time of the solution are derived in higher dimensional spaces.
