| Abstract: | This paper introduces the strong motion observation on the Wenchuan earthquake. By use of the strong ground motion records of the mainshock and aftershock, the difference of the response spectrum between rock and soil, and the attenuation characteristics of acceleration and Fourier spectrum are analyzed. |
