黔西、桂北中石炭统威宁组皱纹珊瑚

本文研究了黔西、桂北威宁组的皱纹珊瑚26属、45种,并对其中的1新属、14新种进行了描述。据珊瑚化石的研究将该区的中石炭统自下而上划分为两个组合:1.Darwcsophyllum—Paracarruthersella组合;2.Acrocyathus—Shuichengophyllum组合。

RUGOSA CORAIS FROM THE WEINING FORMATION OF MIDDIE ARBONFEROUS IN WEST GUIZHOU AND NORTH GUANGXI

In the summer of 1979 and 1980, corals were collected by the writer from the Weining Formation of west Guizhou and north Guangxi. This paper describes 14 species and 9 genera. Among them, fourteen species and one genus are new. The genera and species described are as follows. Timania Bella sp nov., Timania elegantula sp. nov., Koninckophyllum weiningense sp.nov., Grootia tennis sp.nov., Acrocyathus so-lidum sp.nov.,Acrocyathus kweichowense sp.nov., Acrocyathus orientalis sp. nov., Petalaxis laticystatum sp.nov ,Petalaxis rosicum sp nov., Paracarruthersella dewuen-sis sp.nov,,Corwenia dewuensis sp.nov., Kleopatrina (.Porfirievella) laticystata sp. nov., Shuichengophyllum densum gen.et sp. nov., Shuichengophyllum simplex gen. et sp. nov..Based on the study the Middle Carboniferous in this area may be divided into two coral assemlages.1. Darwasophyllum-Paracarruthersella assemblage (Lower Weining Formation)2. Acrocyathus-Shuichengophyllum assemblage (Upper Weining Formation) Now,a new genus Shuichengophyllum is established. The diagnosis of this genusis characterzed byt Cerioid corallites. There are often some crstose dissepiments by marginarium. Septa of two orders,minor septa are long. The syncolumella big and clisiophylloid. Dissepiments small. Tabulae not complete, minute comvex or coocave at the central area of corallite, but as a whole,horizontal. The new genus is somewhat similar to Actinocyathus d'Orbigny, 1849.But the latter is characterized by complete and horizontal tabulae, wider marginarium cystose dissepiments and big cystose dis- sepiments. This genus is also similar to Minatoa Flugel, 1974, But the former is characterized by incomplete tabulae, minute convex or concave at the central area of corallite,but as a whole horizontal.
