| Abstract: | Non-linear large-deformation numerical simulation is conducted of the formational process of high steep slopes of the navigation lock at the Three-Gorges Project. Analysis is made of the problems concerning displacement and stress while the rockmass slopes are being excavated. Reference data and calculation results are offered which prove to be significant to the construction of the project. |
