| 摘 要： | ORACLE是当今世界使用最广泛的商用数据库软件系统之一，该系统功能强大同时也具有一定的复杂性。文章首先分析了ORACLE数据库的结构以及它的客户端服务器通信方式，在此基础上分别研究了网络通信方式和进程通信方式下ORACLE客户端连接ORACLE服务器的方法，并阐述了不同连接方法下如何从客户端和服务器端进行配置，最后以在实际工作中出现的两例客户端连接ORACLE故障为例，给出了相关的故障解决方法。
