| Abstract: | The segmentation of seismo-active fault has become one of the basic methods in the nuclear power plant siting and the seismic risk analysis. In this paper, the concepts of structural segment and seismic segment are discussed, and how to segment an active fault and how to determine the potential maximum earthquake magnitude are also explained from some examples. |
