| Abstract: | This paper tracks back the major stakeholders of open access worldwide in 2013, and summarizes the developments of international developments of open access practices, from open access policies of funding agencies, research institutes and governments, open access publishing practices of publishers and other organizations, the trends of open access repositories, and new models of open access scientific communication (for example, open data, open access books). The stakeholders refer to funding agencies, research institutes and universities, government agencies, and publishers. The tracked materials contain policies of stakeholders, research reports, news and press release, etc. |
