民国时期三大图书馆学期刊办刊特色之比较

在民国时期三大图书馆学期刊中,《中华图书馆协会会报》以联络图书馆界为职志,是学界中人了解国内外图书馆事业发展状况的窗口;《图书馆学季刊》主要刊载学人对图书馆学研究的论述,且多定位在中国图书馆学学术转型最为急迫的图书分类与编目等问题;而《文华图书馆学专科学校季刊》从办刊伊始,对国外图书馆学的发展状况关注较多,且力求追逐图书馆学理论的前沿问题,集中展现了国内外图书馆学理论的一些最新成果。三大图书馆学期刊由于其不同的办刊定位与办刊特色,在近代图书馆学学术转型过程中承担了不同的功能。

A Comparative Study of the Running Features about Three Kinds of Library Science Journals during the Period of the Republic of China

Among the three Library Science journals during the period of the Republic of China,Bulletin of the Library Association of China had the aspiration to contact the library community,and also was a window for academics to understand the development of libraries in China and abroad;Library Science Quarterly published the academics’ discussion on the study of Library Science,mostly on the problems which are the most urgent in the academic transformation of Chinese Library Science such as books classification and cataloging;Boone Library School Quarterly paid more attention to the development of foreign Library Science from the beginning of its publication,sought to pursue the frontier of the theory of Library Science and also focused on the latest achievements of the theory of Library Science at home and abroad. Because of the different orientation and running feature,the three major journals in the Republic of China assumed different roles in the process of academic transformation of Library Science.
