| Abstract: | Semantic translation and communicative translation are the core of translation theory by Peter Newmark,who combines language function and text type and fully analyzes the wide differences between text types and many practical problems.The present paper attempts to discuss the relationship between communicative translation and text type and analyze some examples in English/Chinese and Chinese/English translation. |
